"What's wrong with your face?" Taehyung winced at the sight of the younger. "I fell while playing" She lied. "Be honest" Taehyung glared. "I was playing Kabaddi. I got hurt when I jumped across the line" she pouted. "What is that?" he looked so done with the child. "A game I forbade her from.  Who were you even playing with?" Meera glared. "My society friends came to know that I was back. Anyways tell me if you two have had any progress at all?" she yawned while the other two went beet red.

"Nice. So something did happen." She wiggled her brows at them. "Why are you everywhere? God's killing blow" Taehyung glared. "Okay fine, don't give me the silent treatment. I was just going to tell you most of my work is done. I'll be be back sooner so, if you want private time, this is your chance. Plus Taehyung the stalker is off your back for now as far as I know so the other members and managers need to be alert. I'm going back to sleep. Bye" she ended without giving it a second thought.

"Her shamelessness knows no limits" Taehyung sighed. "She's hopeless." Meera agreed nevertheless. "But she wasn't wrong you know? Plus I'd like to know you more. On a personal level" He specified. "Why? I don't even get why you keep trying  actually" Her voice was laced with pure curiosity at this point.

"I don't have a reason actually. I'll try to explain " He stood up from the couch and made her sit instead. "See when I love with or for a reason, when the reason ends won't the love end as well?" He tried to explain with his hands everywhere in the air in order to emphasize the point. "Your point makes sense but, why me?"

"Are you an idiot?" He looked at her as if she was the stupidest person in the world. She squirmed slightly. He sighed and kneeled down on one knee enough to be able to look eye-to-eye. "Why you? The question should be why shouldn't it be you? Stupid lady" His voice strained with emotions laced with frustration. Her eyes widened at his blatant expression. "Why not you? I want it to be you. You, your words, everything about you. Your partner. Your other half. That's what I want to be with you. Why wouldn't I want it to be you? I know you're dense at times but, this much?" He groaned at the look on her face. "Never mind. Tell me something about you that I don't know" He plopped down on the couch by her side.

"I've never had a guy say that he likes me. Alesha told me when guys would have feelings for me but, I never believed her words. You can't expect me to believe you now, can you?" she ruffled his hair slightly as if she was looking at a child. "I might know why they never confessed" he gulped. "Why?" She looked taken aback.

Oh shit. I wasn't supposed to tell her! She doesn't know!

A/N: Alesha threatened the guys off lmao sorry.

"You! " he exclaimed. "Me?" she pointed at herself. "When guys give such obvious hints and you don't react then they won't confess because they'll think that you don't feel the same" he was spitting facts at this point. "That makes sense"

"But, I'm glad. I have a chance with you now" he huffed up proudly. "Wait a minute, did you just call me dense?" The realization hit her soon enough. "Actually, yes. But, in the good way." He gulped. "I can't believe you" She scoffed.

"Forget that. Tell me something about you" He smiled. "I just did. No confessions and that I'm dense" she glared. "None?" he looked suspicious. "None from guys. From females I have females wanting to marry me. Alesha's friends but, they're like kids to me. And some of my older friends but, I've steered clear of them. And Alesha is my soulmate. I don't need much from life anymore" she leaned back into the couch. "Family. Your parents? Siblings?"

"My parents and I text often. They wanted me to get married but, I wasn't into the idea much so, I sort of ran away? Alesha kidnapped me actually but, yeah in a sense I ran away from home" she chuckled lightly. "She kidnapped you?" he looked awestruck.

"We hadn't met in real life actually. We were virtual friends. We talked and we instantly knew that we were meant to be friends. We knew everything about each other. And I was telling her about the whole marriage scenario and she told me this cliché line, 'Just say the word and I'll take you away' and I said just do it already. And that rascal she stalked me to the mall next day and kidnapped me for real. She did that" Meera was slightly tearing up as she reminisced the memory.

"But, that's just not right is it? Your parents must've been worried" he pointed out. "She sent her cousin who is a respected person and also somebody who likes me according to her to my house and told him to relay a message to my house" she smiled wider. "The message said, 'Article 103 of the Family Code states that "each fiancé must freely give his or her consent to the engagement, regardless of the parental consent required for minors". The absence of consent is grounds for annulling the marriage. She also added, your daughter is safe with me. With the emoji which stuck out a tongue. It was hilarious but, yes. It was worth it"

His hand reached out slightly fondling her cheek before rubbing a lone tear away with his thumb. "You didn't get angry at her after she kidnapped you?" he asked in awe. "I don't know why but, when I opened my eyes and I saw her, we both cried so hard. Think of it, a friend who's basically family and the first person you see after thinking that you're going to die. Like we'd never met and our first meeting was that. I wasn't even angry. I went back home after a week or so and my parents weren't even angry. More like we didn't give them a choice but, still."

"They didn't force you to marry again?" he asked. "They did but, not as much as before." she shrugged. "Why do you feel guilty about it?" he asked. "What do you mean?" she turned to him. "It's plastered all across your face in bold letters that you feel guilty about it"

"A little bit. They're my parents after all. It still eats me up slightly" she sighed. "Talk to them. About what they did. About what you did. About everything. Do you even talk to them. Like properly?" he asked. "We wish each other on birthdays?" she answered cheekily. "That's not very nice." he huffed up with a pout. "Every time we talk it somehow spirals into a talk about how they want to marry me off to my cousin. Personally, I don't like the sound of it, I never have."

"Your cousin?" he stuttered. "I know right? Let's just change the topic. My birthday is on 27 September. I'm 23 this year. I overthink a lot. Alesha is my soulmate. I'm a certified software engineer and I am also trained in various aspects of IT. My head holds crazy ideas of boosting fame. I'm also trained in what you called "Bodyguard-ing" the other day. I am also an expert sniper. I can also do a lot more than that but my aim in the near future would be to become rich and be the coolest single aunt Alesha's child has ever known" She was blabbering nonsense at this point but, Taehyung didn't probe.

"Why would you curse me like that?" he pouted. "Huh?"

"What do you mean single aunt. Aren't I right here?" he pointed at himself. "You suck at flirting" she chuckled. "I'm trying at least" he stuck his tongue out at her. "Try harder then"  He started smiling to himself. "What?" "Nothing" "No tell me what is it?" "Nothing" "Tell me"

"Harder" " What?" "You said, harder" he said in a deep voice. "You stay away from Alesha" she pointed at him. "It was Jimin" he chuckled. "I hate you" she looked away but, began smiling nevertheless. "No you don't" he mumbled.
