Author's POV

Next Morning, Neil frowned  rubbing his puffy eyes with his palms as hot sunrays directly plunged onto his face through the transparent windows of bedroom. A few moments later, he finally awoke wide from sleep and the first thing that his chocolate orbs searched is "His life " ,precisely Avni. 

But to be his surprise he couldn't find her in room. Quickly, He got up and checked the washroom and balcony nevertheless ,it's all invain as she wasn't there too.

"Where the heck  this girl is? And itni subah kaha gayi room se ? "

Neil thought but Right Then ,he recalled something... Something horrific. He remembered everything that happened previous night, the way he shouted on avni and how he took all his  work irritation on her by yelling unnecessarily.

He shut his eyes tight with frustration,as soon as he remembered Avni's teary hurt face. His jaw clenched tight as tons of anger raised on himself for the past night behavior.

"Her tears in her eyes are the only one's which weakens as well as kill him but because of him she cried,  last night shedding tears out".

"Oh my God! What blunder I did ,such a idiot I am? Neil cursed himself as he realized his mistake of yelling on her for no reason.

He rubbed his forehead irritatingly , as he felt frustrated on himself for committing such a dirty deed.

"Avni ,where are you? " Neil shouted , slowly walking out of bedroom. He just hoped she would not have done anything wrong with herself being  hurt.

"Avi..."  His next words freezed on the spot itself as soon as he saw avni sleeping on couch in an uncomfortable position.

But what made His heart clench with pain is watching her tear stained face. His whole body shook numb, realising how badly she cried all night sleeping on sofa itself. Neils hands started to  shiver with pain and fear watching her vulnerable state. Never, he wanted this day to come ,but unfortunately he was the reason for her cry.

Neil slowly walked towards her with trembling legs and without disturbing her sleep, he gently scooped her fragile body in his arms and carried to their room & softly layed her on bed like a delicate rose petal.

Neil kneeled down  abit ,and sat at the edge of the bed starring Avni's red tear stained face. He was indeed worried after watching her broken state. He could imagine how much  she would have felt hurt being scolded by her husband.

"I'm so.. Sorry jaan " Neil says in a chocking tone as His eyes welled up with flood of salt water watching avni in such a devastated state. He slowly tugged her baby hairs behind her earlobe ,While in this process his tear drops slipped on avnis cheeks making her stirr a bit from sleep.

Watching that, Neil began to alert and He wiped her soft cheeks gently with his thumb, that's when he realised how pale she has became. There's is no glow and shine on her face,once she used to have. but still he is devoid of original reason why she has become like this.All silent.

He wiped his own tears away which streamed down his cheeks as he again remembered last night Conversation.His heart pained as guilt crawled through out his body registering his dirty sin , he realized he acted like a man.... a dirty man who avni is most afraid of, due to her past.

"I'm sorry ,avni "  Neil whispered again, kissing her forehead. He placed his lips there for much more time than usual coz he felt her soft skin is  so soothing to his heart.

"I love you " he mumbled and  reached to kiss her lips but suddenly ,he jerked himself off from her, realising what he was doing.

"No.. Neil, you should control your urge coz she would get hurt if you go against her pain for fulfilling your desires, already she was in pain of two years and now I couldn't effort to give more coz of my manly desires. She deserves only happiness. " Neil thought to himself and slowly back steeped away from the bed.

He rubbed his tears harshly which brimmed continuously ,his throat became dry due to the innumerable cries and he was literally trying hard to control his  mild sobs so that avni could not wake up from sleep but before any sound could utter out he miffed those by closing his mouth shut with his palms.

"our intimacy could hurt her... I may hurt her if I do something wrong lossing control. I couldnt fall weak! I should maintain some distance from avni if I want her to be happy " he thought and ran to washroom crying bitterly.

A few moments later, Neil came back after getting ready in police uniform. He glanced at avni who is still snuggling into the bed  with a cute pout lingering on her face.

He smiled looking at her. Coz
"Avni's smile and her face is the only thing which could bring brightness on Neil Khanna's face".

He walked towards bed and intensely starred avni for sometime.

"Toady ,I will come soon jaan " Neil whispered brushing his nose with hers softly .

He smiled and took a piece of paper and wrote something and placed that beside her.

" I think I should apologize to her regarding yesterday night". Neil thought and he left to police station leaving avni alone again.

After sometime avni awoke to soft sheets. she rubbed her red puffy eyes, adjusting her pupils to the bright sunlight.

"Ouch my head! "

She frowned as her head started to ache really bad due to the innumerable sob's she did last night.Then, she remembered the yesterday's horrific night. It was terrible for her as for the first time Neil shouted on her.

Avni's eyes flooded up realising the whole incident , but her face instantly became red and her nostrils flared as again she observed the chit on table.

"Can't he even apologize for his mistake by waking me up ? No ,how could he ? again he left me alone with this useless Chit " Avni thought as tears brimmed down her cheeks like a stream of water. She started to sob bitterly grabbing her knees towards her chest, curling up like a ball.

"How could he even shout on me? I'm his wife right?,Maybe all men are same?" Avni hissed crying.

After a while she rubbed her tears off and took the paper but without reading that she tore it into pieces and throwed it in dustbin.

"I won't talk to you Mr. Khanna, I'm angry with you " Avni thought gritting her teeth.

Like, he is talking to you regularly! Her mind chided.

Avni chuckled sadly realising her Mind was indeed right.

Avni's POV

As usual , I composed myself wiping my tears away and walked towards bathroom to get fresh .I took  warm shower to relieve the pain that I have been carrying mentally. And then I did some household chores so that I could at least forget the things that's bothering me all while. After completing those I settled myself in balcony couch to read a book which  obviously helps me to cut off my lonely time.

When I was in middle of reading, my phone beeped with a message. I know who it is. It is Neil's message.

Jaan, I hope you are up.yeah,I bought your fav choco chip ice-cream,it's in fridge.Go&have it.

I read that message, instead of feeling happy , I cry.  Actually it really hurts , when your hubby doesn't even call to speak , instead he writes texts. 

Okay!🙂.

I replied,  coz I would never ignore anyone unlike him. Then again my phone beeped.

I rolled my eyes after reading that  coz once apple word used to have a beautiful emotion but now it seems to be empty.

Is only I replied ,then sighing deeply I kept my phone swithedoff coz I don't want any further conversation as I'm still angry on him for his behavior.

Closing my book ,I walked towards the kitchen to grab the ice-cream. Who would believe ,once the girl who used to love  ice-cream much but now she just hates  ice-cream. Yes, I just hate this.. I hate ice-cream. Because this I lost Neil.. And his love.

I took the ice-cream pack out, slowly I started to drift into the horrific memory line of mine.

Flashback  in (Author's Pov) .

It Avneil's fifth month of marriage. After that kissing incident, Neil  made a soft bridge between him and avni . Though they used to cuddle and hug each other but that wasn't used to help avni to compete a feeling of being loved, as well it doesn't give any pleasure to control the urge of adult hormones.

It was again a normal night, that day Neil was cooking in kitchen as avni became a lazy ass to do that. She took fresh bath and wore shorts and tank top as she was more comfortable in them than night gowns, but little bit she knew ,she was indeed giving Neil a tough time every night. Asusal after getting fresh, she walked towards Neil with an ice-cream bowl in her hands. Neil never said no to that coz he well know  how much avni loved chocolate ice cream.

Avni sat on the kitchen slab swinging her legs and started to stare Neil intensely while eating  the ice-cream.

"mmmm " so tasty. Avni closed her eyes to the taste, almost letting out an orgasm.

Neil looked at her with lusty eyes as soon as he heard her moans, his hands shivered to do something with her, nevertheless shrugging his dangerous thoughts off he again  concentrated on cooking .

But Avni , obviously didn't realize that her enjoyment moans are turning on Neil like hell.

"What are you making for dinner ? " She asked as she again took a spoon of  ice-cream inside her mouth.

"Brinjal curry " Neil replied looking at avni, who is cutely eating ice cream.

"Yuk " I hate that veggie ! Avni frowned, scrunching her nose.

"Then, what do you want ? " Neil asked switching off the gas, & he walked towards her.

"mmm.. I'm having ice-cream.. Tum khalo brinjal " Avni replied, licking the ice-cream which smeared at the corner of her lips.

"But, I too want ice-cream! "  Neil whined like a child , he stood still placing  his both hands on his hips.

Avni looked at Neil with wide opened mouth coz never Neil asked ice-cream share.

"Okay, have this.I'll get another bowl " she said giving her ice-cream .

"Nah , I want ice-cream.... from your pink mouth avi " Neil traced her lips with his thumb , saying.

Avni stood silent looking down, listening his husky words after freaking five months.

Neil slowly lifted her chin up and without second waste he pressed his lips against her for a gentle yet passionate kiss. They both reciprocated  equally kissing their lips in a little bit harsh way which led avni to access Neil inside of her mouth. Understanding her signal, He slowly stuffed his tongue inside of her and rolled it against her pink bud tasting the  ice-cream at  every corner of her mouth.

After good 10 minutes he parted his lips, feeling avni breathless. Her faced flushed red with blush , she looked at Neil and gulped a huge lump down her throat observing the lusty desires in those chocolate orbs.

When she was in her thoughts , she felt Neil's hand sliding inside of her tank top, caressing her waist. Right then, in a swift move he removed her top leaving her only in black lace bra.

Avni felt shy ,and she instantly became red as it was her first time, as Neil saw her almost naked upper body.

"Ne.. Neil.. What are you doing? " Avni fumbled covering her assets with hands.

Neil just smirked, he lost his control over her body, his hormones and his desires are betraying him,  the urge which he controlled from past five months is alot for him. Now, he gave in. His brain overpowered his mind proceeding further. Meanwhile on other side avni felt so happy, as she thought ,Neil has been changing. She was dancing internally Thinking about the drastic steps Neil is taking for their future.

"I'm eating ice cream ! Jaan " Neil whispered as he spreaded the ice-cream on her cleavage ,and belly with the spoon.

"Neil.. " Avni moaned with hitched breath as she felt cold shivers on her hot buring body.

Neil placed ice-cream bowl a side and held Avni by waist and licked her neck sensuously , tasting the ice-cream and slowly he traced his tongue from her neck to wards the belly sucking.

"Ahhhh mmm ..ummm " Avni whimpered as she felt Neil rolling his tongue on her bellybutton ,playing.

"I need you avni " Neil said panting hard, avni was in shock she never dreamt Neil will ask like that, but he did. Avni danced mentally and kissed his lips giving him a signal.

Neil lifted avni on her shoulders and threw her on bed and he came upon her kissing her neck bit roughly. He removed his shirt and started to kiss avni hungrily as it's long time they had all this. The sexual urges were overpowering their minds eventually making the session rough and harsh.

On one side Neil kissed avni on her lips while his hands started to unbutton  Avni's short. His hands were fiddling with buttons due to the fastness. Coz of that irritation he bit Avni's lips through kiss which made her wince with pain, and drops of blood dripped out from her mouth.

Neil stood up straight soon as he felt a taste of blood on his tongue , he looked at avni who is in messed state. Though, it's common in love making but for Neil her pain just stabbs him. In actual avni wasn't feeling uncomfortable but for Neil that's the limit. He saw her in vulnerable state coz of him.

Neil observed avni was half naked, he still didn't registered when all this happened in a blink. He ran his hands into his hairs frustratingly, realising what he did in a heat of moment.

He stood up from bed , his eyes were burning with rage. Obviously on himself.

"Neil what's wrong " Avni frowned as she got off from bed.

"Go and get some clothes on!  " Neil blurted not looking at her.

"what ? "  she snapped.

"I said go " Neil hissed.

Avni left to washroom and she came back wearing her night dress.

Avni saw Neil who is holding pillows and bed sheet in his hands. She looked confused.

"Neil what are you doing? "

"From now I'm gonna sleep on coach ,and you would sleep on bed " Neil replied throwing up a huge bomb on her.

"what.. But why? " Avni shuttered, while tears started to form in her orbs.

"I don't wanna hurt you avni. I really don't know how I myself got carried away in heat of moment. And I think I should control myself doing any further deeds, that's why I'll sleep here " Neil said walking towards the sofa .

Avni's face turned pale hearing that their intimacy was just a heat of moment.

"you won't ever hurt me  Neil.. And what will happen if we kiss " avni asked as a lone tear tickled down her cheek.

"If you don't remember , let me remind you. You are not capable for that avni and still you are not fit. So better you sleep now!" Neil said in a stern way , shattering  all her dreams like a broken beads.

"How could he even say ....that I'm.. not fit for becoming a mother or for love making? Did he think I'm not capable ,coz I was fu*ed  by many people in past years as I was a.. P.. R.. Prostitute. If so, Then why did he married me.... To make my life more hell.. " Avni cried silently , sleeping on bed alone.

Flashback ends.

Tears rolled through Avni's eyes thinking about that horrific night from when Neil never slept beside her. 

"Now, I can't.... I'm fed up from all this. Why Neil is doing this to me why?  Why he always makes a bridge between us?  Why can't he open up with me?  Why God why ? Avni cried
Shutting the door fridge hardly.

"You don't know Neil, it's been months that I have touched ice-cream. I think that day , coz of this  maybe you left me alone. And hamare beach mae itni duri agayi hai ki now even you don't know my likes and dislikes " A tear tickled down her cheek indicating how deeply hurt she was.

"It's OK.. Le lamha bhi guzar jayega " Avni chuckled sadly ,walking towards their bed room.

Dil ka dariya beh hi gaya

She slowly steeped to her wardrobe, and took out the first gift Neil had given to her at their second week of marriage.

"Bracelet "

She carrresed the bracelet which is carved with A♥N  symbol. Her eyes flooded with tears remembering the previous moment when he made her wear this ,making her day extra special. She now realised , how happy she was on that day ..nah.. How happy they both were.

She placed the bracelet back on place and took another thing which was lying in between her clothes.. It was their photo frame when Neil insisted her to get one in studio.

"You said, I won't able to cry in future coz you would be their for me in every situation ,but today.... You are the only one giving me pain Neil.It's hurting me.Really pricking me hard. you're not that Neil whom I loved.. You have changed Neil.. You changed.. You broke your promises.. Our marriage promises " Avni cried watching Neil's face in the photo, she didn't realised when that frame drenched with her own tears.

"Idk why you are doing this... But.. I love you Neill... Please come back to me.. Please become my old Neil.. Who care for me.. Love me.. Please... Please.. I beg you.. Please... She hiccuped btw tears.

She kissed Neil's face hard and caressed it gently.

Avni held frame against her chest and she slowly slid down to the floor remembering their beautiful memories.  Their first kiss, first hug.. Marriage everything. Avni brought her knees up-to her chest curling up like a ball. This time tears betrayed her, by streaming out like a flood of stream.  she couldn't even share her pain with anyone else except Neil but.. He is the only one who is giving her that.

"Please.. I want you Neil ..i need your love " Avni Hicuuped.  Her chocked voice echoed in the whole flat indicating her loneliness.

Slowly, her eyelids started to become heavy and avni slept on floor itself.
