"Wah~ Levy I'm so exhausted..." I sigh and droop slightly as I walk. Levy laughs softly beside me and nudges me teasingly.

"Did you stay up late with Natsu?" She raises an eyebrow and my cheeks grow flush with embarrassment.

"N-no!" I exclaim defensively, only making her laugh more.

"I hear someone teasing Lucy!" Lisanna sang as she caught up to us with Mira and Erza. I groaned softly and hid my face with my school bag. They all start cracking jokes about how I stayed up late talking to Natsu about dirty things.

"Guys..." I whine and they erupt into a chorus of laughter. I knew they where teasing but it made my thoughts travel back to the warning my dad had previously given Natsu and I. My face grew warmer and I slug my bag back over my shoulder. Suddenly I felt a small shove and I squeaked but I landed against a very warm chest. I look up to a smirking Natsu who locked eyes with someone behind me before he looked at me again, making my heart race in my chest.

"Just can't keep your hands off me can you?" He said with a small chuckle. I scowl at him and huff.

"I was pushed!" I defend myself and he laughs more.

"Sure you where," he whispers in my ear, his breath tickling my skin making me shiver. He smirked at my reaction and I punch him lightly in the arm. He tussles my hair and I shove his hands away.

"Damn it, Natsu! Now my hair is messed up..." I sigh and run my hand through it to straighten it back out.

"I thought you looked cute like that," he pouts and I hear my friends giggling. I turn to them and my face reddens again. I had completely forgotten thy where right behind us...

"You guys are so cute!" Lisanna gushes and Levy nods.

"NaLu is a success!" Mira highfives Erza and I rub my temples.

"You guys...I swear..." I pretend to be mad but I just end up laughing. Natsu grabs my hand and pulls me away, but not before Levy yells at us not to skip class to do the dirty together. I could even see Natsu blush slightly at that comment but we laughed. When we finally got away Natsu turned and pulled me forward before connecting our lips. I blushed different shades of scarlet before he pulled away.

"Sorry...I had to," he grinned and a small smile played on my own lips. "But I didn't just pull you here to kiss you." His face settled into a more serious one and I looked at him with curiosity.

"What did you bring me here for then?" I place my hand on my hip as I ask the question.

"I wanted to ask you to come with me to the carnival that starts tonight," he laughs a little and I nod enthusiastically. I was going on my first official date with Natsu!

"Of course I'd love to go!" I gush and fight to contain my excitement, though some seeped out. Natsu pulled me forward by my waist and kissed me gently on my forehead again before checking the time and frowning.

"It's time..." I sigh and finish his sentence.

"To go to class, yeah. I'll see you later Natsu." I leave a quick kiss on his cheek before taking off towards my class. My friends immediately began questioning me about what had happened but I only gave them a mischievous grin. I couldn't focus one bit on the class work but thankfully it wasn't anything too terribly difficult anyway. Lunch went by in a whirl and before I knew it I had been thrust right back into classes I couldn't focus on.

When the final bell rang to release us I got up and packed my things quickly. I darted through people in hopes to catch Natsu. Unfortunately his sport managed to capture him before I could, so I walked home slowly, enjoying the fall air as I pulled my jacket closer around me. This season was magnificent, it's color was radiant and the cool air held whispers of winter. I closed my eyes and just came to a stop to enjoy the stillness for a moment.

"Enjoying yourself out here Luce?" The familiar voice made me leave my thoughts and open my eyes. I turned to see Natsu with his bag slung over his shoulder and resting at his side, hands in his jacket pockets and hair disheveled by the winds' leisurely gusts. He looked as handsome as he had the night of the ball. My hair blew in my face slightly and he stepped forward to reach out and brush it back. His hand lingered on my cheek and a small smile tugged at his lips.

"I really want to kiss you right now, you know that right?" He murmured as his eyes met mine.

"Then why don't you?" I return a question and a twinkle of teasing appears.

"Unless you want a thousand pictures of it to end up online because of Mira, I have to keep myself from kissing you," he chuckled and I went red as I looked as saw a small group on the far side of the road, attempting poorly to hide themselves. I laughed a little at their actions before grabbing hold of Natsu's hand and tugging at it to pull him along with me.

"Let's go, I'm sure Mira will understand," I glance back at her and see a huge grin. I knew I would be pried for details later but I didn't care about that right now. Once we rounded the corner I felt Natsu pull his hand from mine. I turned to ask him why he had pulled away when he caught me in a kiss. It was quick but that's all it took to send my heart racing and make a flood of red appear on my cheeks.

"You always look so cute..." He murmured with a small grin. I brushed some of my hair behind my ear and grabbed his hand again, weaving my fingers through his. We talked as we walked along the sidewalk towards my house. When we finally arrived he stopped and kissed my forehead.

"I'll see you in a few hours, okay?" He smiled and I nod.

"See you then, Natsu." I leave a quick kiss on his lips before racing inside, looking forward to the night to come, the beginning of my relationship with Natsu.
