💔2💔

Azami's POV.

It's been a week since I last saw Kae. She locked herself away in her room after the death of her favorite character. I knew something was going to change about her, and I knew it'd change me too. I walk into class and simply sit at my desk, next to Kae's. I look at the entrance to the class, daring her to walk inside. Soon I saw a skinny girl who looked like Kae, with her purple hair and green eyes. She seemed a bit nervous.

"Kae...?" I whisper. This is the change I felt? I notice some boys give her unwanted attention so I get up and lead her away from them.

After class I had to leave Kae so I could go practice my music in the secluded band room. No one knew of where I go to during the breaks, not even Kae. So when I hear some news about the three imbeciles and Mutsumi-San asking Kae out, I get a little pissed. I was about to go find them and tell Kae she couldn't go, but I got a call from a familiar name from my past.

"Hello?" I sigh into the phone.

"Is that any way to greet an old friend?" The guy pouts from the other end.

"What do you want, Hika-San?" I ask politely. I knew what he was calling about, and I don't want to do it.

"Go out on one date with me and I'll stop asking." He pleads.

"You're with your friends, aren't you?" He hums excitedly. "Fine. Only this once."

"Okay! Pick you up at 7!" He cheers before hanging up.

Let me explain, I used to date a boy named Hikashi Hadinozuka. We split up after a while, because we both lost our love for each other, and he obviously thinks he loves me again. And he's been trying to get a date with me for the past two months. I mean, yeah, he's cute and stuff, and he's nice, but I don't like him anymore... I just lost those feelings for him, or anyone. Nowadays I focus on my music, my studies, and protecting Kae.

Kae. Kae! I think to myself, remembering her date with the four boys. I was fine with Mutsumi-San since he seemed interested in her before her weightloss, just never seemed to show it.

"Kae!!!" I yell as I run down the halls, looking for my cousin before running straight into Hika. He smiled down at me as his black hair covers his right eye while his left one shows the golden-honey color.

"Hey babe, going to tell your cousin 'bout our date?" He asks smugly.

"You wish. I was planning on stopping her date with three imbeciles and Mutsumi-San." I sigh as I feel Hika wrap his arms around my waist. "Hika, let me go, I have to find Kae."

"Kae? I just saw her leave the school." He smirks down at me. "Let's get you home so you can get ready for our date."

Did I forget to mention Hika was very demanding, cocky, egotistic, and a total jerk at times? Sorry, slipped my mind. Note sarcasm.

"Fine. Let me go." I grip his arms as he seems to tighten them around me.

"What's the rush?" He smirks down at me, staring at my lips.

"1) Your the one who asked me out on a date. 2) You just said I should go home and get ready. And 3) I am not going to kiss you, so keep dreaming, weirdo." I push his face away from me as he leans in during the first two things I listed off. He let's me go with a groan, and I run home. "Damn egotistic, cocky little bas–"

"Azi-nee! Your home!" The twins yell as they run into the room, unknowingly cutting me off. "Play with us! Play with us!"

'Maybe if I play with them, I can stall long enough and say I can't go on a date with Hika since I have to play with them... No, he'll just ask if my parents are home, and then say that "playing with your siblings is no excuse. Your parents are home, so it's not like you're stuck watching them." Hika will be the death of me one of these days...' I think to myself as the twins fragments to their room to play.

Next day. (Don't wanna write her date since it was short, and it meant nothing to her anyways.)

I walk into class and take a seat in my usual spot. I watch and see that the boys are talking with Kae again, imbeciles. She looks at me for help since 1) her BFF isn't helping, 2) her BFF is out sick today, and 3) I'm protective of her.

"Hey, leave Kae alone." I state sternly. The boys look at me as if I wouldn't hit them, or if I was kidding. I stood up from my seat and all of them scrambled to their seats except Nozomu, who thinks he's not afraid of me, and Yūsuke, who is nice to me and I probably wouldn't hurt anyways. I glare at Nozomu, and pull Kae away from the boys, and into her seat beside me. "Better?"

"Much. I didn't expect to get so much attention. I thought that if I had a similar body as yours, even unintentionally, than maybe I'd get the same treatment as you." She explains in a whisper to me.

"Treatment? Which one? The 'everyone is scared of me' one, or the 'no one wants to date me because I'll beat them to a pulp' one?" I joke.

"I just didn't expect everyone to fawn over me." She shrugs before the teacher gets on with the lesson. At lunch I sit extremely close to Kae, only allowing one of the boys to sit on the other side of her. The only one I trust so far with her. Mutsumi-San. Yūsuke sat on the other side of me while I glared at Nozomu. "Azami-chan?"

"Hmm?" I glance at her for a second before continuing to glare at Nozomu.

"Why are you glaring at Nozomu?" She whispers.

"Because he's a jerk, because he only became interested in you because of your looks, and because I despise him." I hiss out, practically insulting him.

"Azami-chan! It's time to go! Ready for practice?!" I hear Hika call from across the cafeteria. My face hits the table after he yells that. I wasn't eating today, so I didn't make a mess.

"Azami-San? Are you alright?" Mutsumi asks me, patting my back while reaching behind Kae.

"Hika. He just had to give up the only secret I've ever told him." I mutter bitterly. "I better go before he starts telling more people."

"Telling them what, exactly?" Hayato asks, obvious hater to me in his voice.

"Nothing. If I have any luck, no one will find out, an just dismiss Hika." I say. I turn around and walk to Hika, who places an arm around me and leads me out into the hall before we go to the music room.
