Ruby's POV ⚡️

After Euna had said that, I only just stood still for a moment as I looked at her, before I suddenly felt my canine fangs get a bit longer.

Pretty much as long as either a werewolf's or a vampire's fangs if I were to put it that way.

Noticing that, Ryobo got up to his feet and left the room for a moment, until he came back with a red apple and gave it to me.

As he did that, Euna and Toriel gave Ryobo a confused look in response to that, before they both found out why he gave me a red apple.

Just as soon as I sunk my canine fangs into the apple, Euna and Toriel's faces immediately turned to shock when they saw me drink the red out of the apple until the apple was completely changed to the color, grey.

Then I just ate the grey colored apple normally, like how anyone does it, before I threw it away in the trash can.

"What the - - ?!" Euna went as she kept looking at me.

"What just happened?" Toriel says as she remained looking at me, her face still in shock too.

"Sorry. I forgot to mention I had some vampire blood in me too. But, the reason why I wasn't burned alive in the sunlight like how you'd normally would expect it to happen, back when I was at the surface, is because of the monster half that's in my blood.

So, the sunlight doesn't bother me at all when I'm walking around in it. It also explains why I have such incredible speed and strength too." I explained as I sweat dropped a little.

"Huh...I guess that's interesting. But, at least it explains why your skin is a little pale, along with why your ears looking a bit pointy." Toriel went as she nodded in understanding.

As for Euna, she didn't say anything, especially when I attempted to ask her some questions and interrogate her.

"I see...Well, if you're not gonna answer my questions, then I'll have no choice but to force you to answer them myself." I said as my eyes turned bright red, before I pressed my foot down really hard on Euna's leg.

It didn't take long for Euna to let out a pained scream over her leg, the harder I pressed my foot down on it, little by little.

"OKAY! OKAY! I'LL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW!! JUST GET YOUR DAMN FOOT OFF OF MY LEG!!!" Euna screamed, which I immediately listened and removed my foot from her, in response to that.

"Okay, first off, what's your backstory since you mentioned that earlier?" I asked as I made her look at me, while my eyes changed back to their normal ruby red color.

Euna went silent, probably knowing she's gonna have to tell us or I'll be making her say it, by pressing my foot down hard on her leg again.

Looking at the floor, I could easily see tears appearing in Euna's eyes before she looked away from the floor and us.

"I don't want to talk about it..." Euna says as she sighed heavily, sounding really upset.

Toriel's POV 🥧

As soon as I heard Euna reply to Ruby like that, I could easily tell she's one of those monsters who don't like mentioning their pasts but would only tell you so little about it, until they feel like they have enough confidence to tell you the whole story.

Looking at Ruby, I silently gave her the message with just a look on my face, in which she easily understood to.

"Fine...I'll ask you something else then." Ruby went before she had a sullen look on her face.

Then she started asking Euna questions, while Euna answered them without any problems, even though she had the look on her face, showing that she didn't want to answer them.

As Ruby was finishing up, that was when I heard her ask Euna one last question, I never thought or expected to be heard.

"Who's your mother?"

The moment Euna heard Ruby's last question, both of her eyes turned neon purple and that was when she completely lost it.

"I'M NOT TELLING YOU! AND WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO KNOW?! THAT QUESTION NO LONGER MATTERS TO ME ANYMORE!

SHE'S NOT A PART OF MY LIFE, EVEN IF I WISHED SHE WAS!!!" Euna yelled at Ruby, as tears were seen appearing in her eyes.

"You sound like you really hated your mother or just flat out killed her..." Ruby says, obviously not even phased by Euna's outburst.

"NO! SHE'S DEAD!! HER AND MY FATHER!!!" Euna continued as she was yelling at Ruby again.

Then silence filled the room before Euna started crying, as her glasses slipped off of her face and landed on the floor.

Seeing that, I looked over at Ruby.

"Ruby...I think that's enough we can get out of her. Especially for today." I said to her calmly as I stood up, after I had her release Euna from the lightning whip, that Ruby had used to tie her up with.

Nodding in understanding, she left the room without any hesitation, while Euna continued crying.

Ryobo left the room as well too, only he just stood outside, next to the door.

Looking over at Euna, I could easily tell how she was feeling after she mentioned her mother.

It was the same feeling that I felt, when I tried to protect and prevent Frisk from getting killed, by blocking the doorway that leads to Snowdin...

It was the feeling of heartache.

Sitting back down and on my knees, I pulled Euna into a comforting hug, as I shushed her gently.

"Don't touch me..." I heard her say tearfully.

But, I refused to listen and just kept hugging her, as I pulled Euna close to my chest.

"It's okay, Euna...It's okay." I gently said to her, while rocking back and forth a little, as I rubbed her back soothingly.

All I got from her was a tight hug in response, as she buried her face into my chest and was still crying.

We remained like this for a while, even when we both moved over to sit on my bed.

"Are you okay?" I asked after Euna eventually calmed down and sniffed a little.

I only got a nod and another tight hug from her in response as we looked at each other for a bit...
