I'm late. I'm late. Oh God I'm late.

I sped walked through the halls of the school and huffed lowly. Up all night studying for a test would have you miss your alarm clock and your ride to school.

Damnit.

Why do I always think cramming is the key to being successful in school? Jesus Sakura!

I turned the corner into the classroom and all eyes fell upon me. Again it was casual attire day at school and now I'm pretty sure everyone thinks I'm late because of my choice of an outfit today. And I actually took the time out to do my hair as well.

"Nice of you to finally join us Miss Haruno." Our teacher, Mr. Hatake says. "Fashionably late I see."

I blushed slightly and scurried to my seat. Everyone went back into Mr. Hatake's lecture and I sunk into my seat trying to scribble the notes before the slide changed. I felt eyes on me. Slowly following the direction of where it was coming from, my eyes landed on a pair of onyx orbs. I saw the pink tint on his pale skin as he slowly turned away from me to listen to whatever Naruto was whispering to him about. I frowned and went back to paying attention to the lecture.

When class was over, I gathered my things and stuffed them into my bookbag. I felt a shadow over me. Looking up I was greeted by the chipper boy with the blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. He smiled at me.

"Hey Sakura." He says waiting for me to stand. I finally do and throw my bag over my shoulder and grabbed my folder off the desk to carry.

"Hey Naruto what's up?" I ask him. "I'm surprised you arent walking with Sasuke."

The both of us exited the class. I guess I spoke too soon. Sasuke was standing right at the door waiting for his friend. I looked up at Naruto.

"Well I'll see a glimpse of you at lunch before you leave." I found myself saying with a chuckle.

"Cut it out." Naruto laughs grabbing my wrist. "You're coming with us we have the same class again silly."

"I don't think your friend is comfortable with me walking with you guys." I say as soon as we approach Sasuke. He looks down at me before turning to leave. I look at Naruto and he smiles and throws an arm over my shoulder.

"He's tolerating it." He says as we began to walk. We walked a few steps behind him. "He thinks you're cute you know."

I look up at Naruto as he smiles. "That's probably why he avoids you so much." He says again. "He's not good at expressing himself so he comes off cold to others. It's nothin against you. He just finds you really attractive."

I blinked before looking back over at Sasuke. He wore a grey track jacket, black t-shirt and simple blue jeans. On his feet were all white shoes with a hint of grey in them. Around his neck was a small necklace with what looked like a red and white fan charm.

"Naruto." Sasuke's voice graced my ears. For the first time in forever, since I met him rather; I heard his voice.

"Hm?" Naruto looked away from me then up at his best friend. "What's up?"

"Did you study for the test?" He asked as he awaited for us to catch up to him. Although my eyes never left him, I could see him trying his hardest not to meet my gaze. Was what Naruto was saying true?

I stared at Naruto as his eyes grew wide.

"Holy shit there was a test?!" He asked looking between Sakura and I. I scoffed and shook my head. I went into my satchel and pulled out a small notepad.

"Honestly I don't know what you'd do without me, Dobe." I shoved the small notepad at Naruto before turning around and continuing to walk.

"Thanks Sasuke." He tells me. "I'll treat you to lunch sometime. I looked over my shoulder and shook my head.

We reached the classroom and took our seats. The test went by smoothly and as the teacher graded our tests, I found myself looking at Sakura every now and then. She wore ripped up jeans and a cropped tank top showing off her curvy waist snd flat stomach that was pierced at the navel. Her hair was bone straight and hanging down to her waist looking luscious and pink. Her emerald eyes seemed brighter than usual today and her lashes fanned out across her cheeks when she blinked. She wore a gold watch on her left wrist and a small rolex bracelet on her right. Around her neck is a small chain with a pink Sakura cherry blossom pendant on it.

I was seriously paying way too much attention to this girl.

I watched as her lips curled into a smile as she received the scores of her test. Obviously she passed.

"Sasuke." I was knocked out of my thoughts when I looked up greeted by our Math teacher, Kurenai. She placed my test face done without breaking eye contact. I slowly picked it up and turned it over. A 99. I frowned and looked up at her. She smiled.

"Question 20 was a trick question." She replies already knowing what I was gonna say. "I would've expected you to see through that Sasuke."

Again I frowned. She continued passing out the rest of the test scores. The bell rang indicating that it was our lunch period. I gathered my things and walked out of class waiting for Naruto and his new tag along.

The both of them walked out engaged in conversations and I made it my business to walk ahead of them. I was just a few steps away and although the halls of fhe school were filled with loud, obnoxious , and hormonal teens, I still heard her voice loud and clear over it all.

"What'd you get on the test Naruto?" She asked him.

"Eh, a 65." He replies.

"Didn't Sasuke give you the answers to the test though?"

"That just proves how much of an idiot he truly is." I blurt out. Naruto chuckled nervously and I felt a pair of eyes in the back of my head. She was staring at me. But I was determined not to look back at her. I can't. I wont.

I stared at the text message and looked across the table at Hinata who smiled brightly. My phone binged again.

I'm trying so hard to contain my inner fangirl right now. 😫😍

Well i kinda failed my math test eventhough Sasuke helpped me cheat, but that's beside the point. 😅

I deadpanned as Hinata giggled.

From Naruto🐺: POINT IS... Sakura asked me what'd I get. I told her. She said ( read in Sakura's voice ) but didn't Sasuke give you the answers to the test?! 🤔

Naruto and his storytelling is killing me. He uses emojis and even have tou reading in the person's voice which makes this whole thing hilarious. Hinata and I both shared a laugh.

"No." Naruto's voice sounded from behind me as he and Sakura sat at both my sides. Sakura smiled at me.

"Sakura, you look cute today." I reached over and ran my hand through her hair. "Ooooou it's so soft."

She giggled. "Thank you Ino." She says. I then place my hand on her necklace.

"This is pretty." I tell her again. "Gosh Sakura who are you trying to impress today?" I crossed my arms over my chest and watched as she blushed.

"Nobody." She mumbles. "I cant get cute for my own enjoyment?"

"I didn't say that." I tell her shaking my head. "But that blush on your face tells me otherwise." I scanned the table and found exactly who I was looking for who was seated next to Hinata.

"Sasuke." I gain his attention.

"What do you want Ino?" He asked in his usual tone.

"Don't you think Sakura looks cute today?" I batted my eyelashes and ran my fingers through Sakura's hair for emphasis.

He stared at me intently. His eyes never even looked at Sakura. I knew Sasuke was calling me every name in the book from the way he was looking at me. He then turned towards Hinata.

"Did you tell her anything?" He asked. Hinata sat up straight and shook her head furiously.

"N-no of course n-not!" She says looking at the table to avoid his gaze. He closed his eyes and sighed before looking back at me. He placed his hands on the table as he stood. He opened his eyes looking at me.

"Yes, she looks cute today." He then glances at Sakura who stared at him wide eyed before he turned to leave. Naruto got up as well.

"We're going off campus to eat." He says. He then mouthed out the words "I'll text you." Before he left with Sasuke.

Sasuke and I sat in In-n-Out eating. He and I haven't spoken a word since we left the school.

"Naruto, what are you three up to?" He finally asked. I gulped down my food and looked up at him as I sipped my Coke a Cola.

"What are you talking about Sasuke?" I ask him.

"You, Hinata and Ino." He says again. "You three are up to something and I don't like it."

I shrugged. "I dont know what you're taking about."

He scoffed. "I hate you." He mumbles.

"Ya know, you surprised me saying that Sakura looked cute today." I tell him as he rolled his eyes. "Did you really think so?"

He stared at me. "Naruto." He says.

"Just answer the question Sasuke." I tell him as I continued eating. "It's not like I'm gomna judge you for it. Alot of guys think she's hot. I overheard Kiba saying sh-"

"Yes Naruto." He cuts me off. "She's cute. Stop talking to me about her."

I chuckled. "Sure." I reply.
