I opened my eyes and saw two figures at each of my side. I rubbed my eyes to check who they were.

"Wow! Your ass is up early, " the damn annoying girl whispered. I looked at the other side to see Tanya smiling. Ops, I hate this. I mean I have to punish them by taking care of me all night.

"This really sucks guys, " I muttered feeling bad that I had to be in hospital and torture all my family and friends.

"What sucks ?" Noti asked laughing.

"Everything. I mean I have two angels to guard me all night and the worst part of it is that you just sit all night afraid that I may die, " I said feeling this huge pain eating me up.

"You shouldn't feel bad about it Huddah. We agreed to do this willingly and of course we are your friend. " Tanya said taking my hand as she slowly drew circles on my palms.

"Besides we have done this for only three nights, it's not much to be done to a sweetheart like you, Huddah Monroe, " Noti said taking my other hand as well.

"My two guardian angels!" I exclaimed and laughed to make my head forget that I'm stressing them for once.

"You can call us whatever you want, "Noti said playing with my palm as well. It was cute as that's the only part they would be free to touch right now. I looked at them alternatively glad that I have people who really care about me.

"Thank you guys, but I should move out of this place soon, " I said really meaning it.

"We all want you out but the docter said that you should be here until he is satisfied that you can stay at home without his help. " Tanya elaborated.

"That's why I said everything sucks, " I took a pause and looked at them. They did the same looking at me with pitty eyes.
"I miss you guys, so much."

"We miss you too, " Noti said and I could see tears forming in her eyes.

"It really boring without you and we miss you Huddah, " Tanya said emotionally.

"I will join you guys there in that damn unpredictable world soon," I said my eyes shut. I really need to move out of this damn hospital. Like really soon.

"Hopefully," Noti said and I really missed them more.

"Which day is today ?" I asked in a bored tone.

"Tuesday, " Tanya answred.

"Amazing, I mean four fucking days here in hospital and it feels like a year."

"Boring as hell, "Noti mumbled.

"I can't believe you two know each other now, I mean it's weird how my two very different best friends met while I was dead and right now you two look cool, " I said to lighten the mood.

"It was awkward the first night but we made it, Tanya is really amazing to hung out with, "  Noti said and we all chuckled.

"I bet you're both best friends now but don't forget I made you know each other, "I joked.

"It's crazy cause we have shared a lot and we are friends right now, " Tanya said nervously. I know it's awkward talking to such a girl who is rich and all. Noti is different anyway cause she doesn't show a lot of things rich girls brag about.

"Don't worry guys, when I'm out of here we will maybe go and hung out the three of us, " I said and they all smiled and bent at the same time to hug me. "Be careful guys, " I said but they ignored me.

"We miss you, " they said at the same time and we all laughed again. I really love these guys.

"If you want me out of this place then don't break my bones more, " I joked and they sat their asses back.

"Whatever, " Noti said picking her phone.

"You guys should leave to your work, right ?"

"Yes but we have to wait until your family is here, " Noti said typing on her phone.

"I don't want you to be late, I will be okay by myself. I promise."

"We have to wait Huddah, "Noti said ignorantly.

"Tanya will be late ," I said turning to her and she laughed.

"Don't worry about me, your mom is on her way anway, " she said ignorantly too.

"So my two best friends are still assholes, I mean nothing has changed?"

"Not yet, maybe someday, " Noti said and just then the door was opened and mom, Avril and Terry entered.

"You should leave now, " I said to the two and they hugged mom and left. Avril and Terry run to me and hugged me. They were dressed for school.

"How have you been ?" Avril asked worried. The way they all pity me is really making me wish that nothing like this ever happened. Maybe I would not have gone for that damn interview or maybe I shouldn't have fell for this cute arrogant guy. I would be with my family right now.

Whatever.

"Im good Avril, going to school ?" I asked to distract her.

"Yes, we just came to check on you first, " Terry said and I was glad they all came.

"That's sweet of you girls, I'm good and I will be alright, "I said looking at them as they faked a smile.

"You're happy now? " my mom interrupted them and they both nodded.

"I brought you coffee sis, make sure you drink all of it, " she said placing it on the table.

"Thank you, " I said and the two of them left. When the door was shut my mom walked near me and sat on the left side. I knew we both had many questions to ask and many things to share. We have to be slow anyway cause the circumstances demanded so.

"I can't believe you're awake now, it was real hell whenever I came and met your eyes shut every morning. "

"But I'm here now mom and I'm good I think."

"I'm happy my daughter, I don't want anything like this to ever happen again." She said looking at my eyes. I don't know whether anyone told her what happened at the party. I guess only three people know about this.

"It won't happen again mom, " I said in a promising tone.

"That's why I hate parties, especially celebrity parties and...."

"Mom, " I had to interrupt her. I know she hate everything and especially now that I'm in this hospital.

"I don't know Huddah, my mind thinking a lot of things right now."

"I know how it feels but you shouldn't hate anything or anyone right now, its not their fault," I said and felt a gulp on my throat. I'm I lying to my mother ? I mean it's Jamal's fault and that's why I'm here on this bed but look at what I'm doing, defending his ass.

Damn! Huddah Monroe.

"I hate famous people and everything related to them." She was literally angry.

"Mom! You promised, " I insisted and she took a long deep breath looking at the roof.

"I don't want to break promises but this is my fault Huddah, I didn't know you were the secretary of Eric's son , " she said surprising me.

"He isn't Eric mom, its Mr Jones, " I corrected and looked at her to read her thought. She said the same thing Friday night.

"I'm sorry it's my fault too Huddah, I was busy with work and I realized when it was too late, " she apologised and it was funny as I was not understanding anything she said.

"Mom, everything is alright and you shouldn't blame yourself for this, " I said.

"But I should have at least warned you, " she said in a regretting tone. Are my ears listening well or I'm I hearing wrong things ?

"Warned me against what ?"

"I know this isn't the right place to talk about this but its a long story my daughter."

"A long story mom ?"

"Yes," she said and the first teardrop slipped from her eyes.

"Mom, you don't understand anything here, the guy you saw that day was Mr Jones, not Eric, " I elaborated still looking at her.

"They are two in one." She smiled." Kidding but Mr Jones is Eric, I know nothing will make sense to you right now but I will explain everything once we are out of this place, " she said confusing me more.

"You two almost fought at the party, I remember dragging you out mom. Does that have something to do with Mr Jones ..I mean Eric ?" I asked and my mom laughed.

"You saved me, I would have caused a lot of chaos. That was anger controlling me that day."

"Im sorry, I didn't know, I even thought you got drunk." I joked.
It was still awkward to both of us but we were trying our best.

"Hell no, not in front of my daughter, " she said caressing my hand.

"So does it mean you have a huge secret to share ?"

"Maybe."

"Mom!"

"I know I should have told you earlier but I thought it wasn't necessary until that day. Maybe I'm not the best mother, " she said and I felt bad that she think she didn't do the right thing.

"You're the best mom in this whole world. Whatever secret you're hiding from me shouldn't make you think that you're bad, " I said trying to kill that bad feeling in her.

"I should've told you on your eighteenth birthday."

"It's alright mom, don't worry about that."

"The way you sang that day was amazing, " she said and I took a long breath of relief. She changed the topic herself.

"Thank you, I was happy you were there to listen at me sing."

"I knew you had a talent but I didn't know that your voice was that wonderful. You made me proud Huddah, " she said happily .

"I have an amazing mother ever. Thank you mom and I love you."

"I love you too, you should drink the coffee before it gets cold. Avril really misses you, " she said.

"I miss her too. The house empty without me ?"

"Much empty than you think. She doesn't eat like before and it's horrible. Dinner tastes bitter because you're not with us Huddah."

"I will be there soon mom, I miss you guys too."

"You're feeling better now ?"

"I think so, I'm not sure myself, " I joked and laughed.

"It was just a stupid comma, your hands will heal faster, " she said examining me.

"I hope so. "

"You will."
