"You're getting married, sis?!" Serena screamed in disbelief as Valentina arrived at the office, wearing the engagement ring Carmen made for her. "Yes, I am." Replied the blonde as she smiled softly at her little sister. "Congratulations, big sister! I also have something to say.." that was then the reddish-blonde took off her black leather glove to reveal a silver solitaire ring with a small diamond.

"Sis.. are you implying what I think your implying?" Serena nods, confirming Valentina's thoughts as she squealed. "Looks like the both of you are engaged. Also.. how did Beetlejuice get you that ring?" Asked the masked woman as the heterochromia eyed reddish blonde smiled. "She had gotten this ring from a certain jewelry shop in hell, so.. yeah. How about yours?" She asked. "Oh! Carmen made this ring for me and planned to surprise me the next time I visited her when that fire came.. by the way.. where's Arno? He usually bothers us at this hour." She said, looking around for the French dark-haired man.

"You haven't heard? He's been arrested." Julia said, popping her head into the room. "For what?" Asked the sisters as both of the women tilted their heads to the side. "For arson, assault and preventing an officer from discovering the truth." Chase added, his eyes narrowing. "I see.." Beetlejuice said, wrapping her arms in a possessive manner around her future wife. "At least he isn't going to bother us anymore." Chirped Serena as she snuggled into the ghost's embrace. "Mhm~" the two of them disappeared sight as Carmen and Valentina blinked twice.

"It was pleasant years working with you all, but it's time for me to move on and settle down. But I will always be around to help newcomers." Finished the blonde's speech as she stepped down from the podium and went to her phantom's side. As they were leaving the building, they were discussing their wedding plans on the way to their house. "Although you can sew, I can make a wedding dress since I made one for my aunt Clarissa's wedding and I am not telling you what designs, details and type of dress I am going to do~" she said in a sing-songy tone.

Carmen lightly pouted underneath her mask as she grinned, taking the hand of her phantom and went inside the house. After closing the door behind them, the phantom wrapped her arms around Valentina's waist as she leaned into the touch of the woman that she had fallen in love with. "My angel of music.. my love.." she whispered, intertwining their fingers together. "Carmen.. you're making me blush again.." the blonde said, her cheeks taking on a deep rosy flush.

The lilac colored skirt of her dress with spaghetti straps swayed slightly in the breeze of the open window as she kissed the tanned face of her phantom of the Paris opera house. Carmen separated herself to compose her newest piece for the audition in the rebuilt opera house as Valentina went to her drawing room to draw the designs for her wedding dress. Since she couldn't predict the weather, she decided to add removable sleeves to her gown just incase it got too warm or too cool. Once she was done with her drawing, she immediately got to work on it.

Skimming through some of the fabrics, she settled for a classical white since it could help keep her cool during the warm months. Cutting a full square of it, she began sewing the bodice together onto the mannequin. After making the skirt, she began to sew on some crystals on the gown and slid the already made removable sleeves onto it's arms. Taking a few steps back, she admired her handiwork. Valentina then left the drawing room and was hit by the sound of the organ playing.. following the sound, she went to the basement and leaned into the doorframe, seeing her phantom playing the organ and working on her newest piece.

She smiled, looking down at her engagement ring's diamond that sparkled in the sunlight, reflecting all the colorful flecks. All of this felt like a dream to her.. one she didn't want to wake up from. As she continued to listen to the music that was being played, it made her close her eyes, feeling her soul starting to soar once more. Eventually, she started softly humming, not noticing the music stopping and the sound of footsteps walking towards her. "Angel?" At the sound of her nickname, she opened the same icy orbs that Carmen had seen in her dreams.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, her grays meeting the blonde's blues. "I heard playing, so I followed it down here. It was beautiful and my soul was soaring high.. I have no doubt that your music and my voice will make a wonderful merge." She told the auburn woman as her eyes sparkled like clear cut light blue sapphires. Her platinum blonde hair which was in a ponytail now flowed freely over her cleavage and spilled over it like rays of morning's first light. She looked like an angel fallen from heaven.. a soft throat clear broke the crimson phantom out of her thoughts.

"Sweetheart, you're staring again." She lightly teased as her smile softened a little. "So? It should be a crime for you to look like an angel sent from grace." The phantom teased back as a sweet laugh escaped the blonde. That was then Valentina felt herself being lifted up into the arms of her crimson ghost. "Mine." She said, walking with the blonde into their new bedroom as she said some husky yet seductive words and her phantom went on top of her. They were both intoxicated by each other and drank up each other's moans of pleasure.

Once they were done, Valentina's hair was disheveled and Carmen's mask was placed aside on the nightstand. She felt safe in her phantom's embrace. "My angel.. do not forget that I love you so much, alright?" She nodded and hummed happily.

This life was the one she had chosen and she did not regret it.
