"My phantom, where are you taking me?" Asked Valentina as they both were discharged from the hospital after a few days. "You will see~" replied the woman who was taking her to Luxembourg gardens. Once they arrived, Carmen turned towards the blonde. "Open." She said, seeing her uncover her eyes. "Carmen.. this is beautiful.. what is this place?" She asked her girlfriend as she smiled. "This is Luxembourg gardens.. just wait until you see the fountain!" She said, taking her by the hand and guiding her to the fountain. 

Valentina was mesmerized by the fountain until she heard Carmen clear her throat. "My love, will you sing a duet with me?" She asked as the blue-eyed woman smiled brightly and nodded her head yes. "This was a duet I was writing when I was attacked by the idiot who set my opera house on fire and I placed for the both of us to sing it." The two women held each others hands and looked deep into the other's eyes, gray met icy blue. (A/n: start music)

Valentina was close to the woman whom had plagued her dreams and thoughts since the first meeting.. what was her beloved crimson phantom planning? Ever since the disappearance of the super thief many years ago, she was sent to look for her but nothing turned up. But.. looking at her girlfriend in her arms, she was slowly connecting the dots. It was impossible!

"You alone can make my songs take flight.. help me make the music of the night..~"

"Carmen.. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that was a marriage proposal!" Valentina whispered as her phantom smiled softly at her and got down on a knee, taking out a red velvet box, watching the blonde's face take on a pink flush. "Valentina Fraser.. over the months that we have been together, I could see our future in my mind.. when I locked eyes on you for the first time, I was shocked because I wanted to know who sent an angel with hair of platinum and eyes of ice to me.. that night when that young man was going to break into your house, I was frightened for your life. When you kissed me, I was shocked yet happy that you did." She began.

"When Arno hit on you and your sister at the retirement party, I was furious.. how dare he attempt to steal the woman I had fallen for? When I had confessed my feelings for you, I was ready for rejection.. but, you didn't reject me and instead.. accepted me, something nobody has ever done.. when we announced to your place of work that we both were together, It was worth it to see that fool's face look shocked and heartbroken to see the both of us kiss~" Valentina giggled, smiling at the memory but let her phantom continue.

"When the opera house was burning, I was sure I was going to die.. not being able to see you anymore.. but, when you bursted in, I didn't want you to die or worse.. that was why I told you to run.. you refused and stayed by me until paramedics arrived and took us to the hospital. As soon as we got out of the hospital, you made sure I was ok to walk. You truly are an angel.. I am sure your wondering where I am going with this?" She nodded as Carmen placed a hand on the velvet box.

"What I am trying to ask of you is that.." The crimson phantom then opened the box, revealing a diamond engagement ring.

"Will you share one love, one lifetime with me forever?" Carmen heard a soft gasp escape Valentina's lips as a watery smile formed on her face. "Yes..! Of course I will marry you, Carmen!" Valentina whispered, her eyes glittering with tears of joy. Her phantom stood up and slid the ring on her finger, kissing her angel. "Oh, Carmen.. this is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.. pray tell, did you make this?" She asked, looking at the engagement ring. "Mhm, I wanted to surprise you with it when you came over on your next visit to the opera house when that fire came.." explained the phantom.

Carmen was finally happy. She had proposed to Valentina, her angel.. her soon-to-be bride.. her angel of music.. she felt her angel's breath on her exposed neck as she looked up at her phantom. "Thank you for existing, my love.. I don't know what I'd do if something horrible happened to you.. my wife.." she whispered in her skin.

The angel of music was finally hers and hers alone.
