A woman is putting on her coat to leave the office. She has long platinum blonde locks, the color of sunbeams, her skin is a delicate shade of fair, reminding people of soft and untouched snow, her eyes the color of ice and soft. She is wearing a soft gray suit, similar to her mother's and black heels. She buttons it up and grabs her red purse, she didn't understand why she loved red so much.. "Valentina, please be careful, ma'am." Said Jules as the said woman smiled at her. "I'll be ok. I learned everything and I have a whistle in case something goes wrong." She gently tells her. She walks out of the office and starts heading home.

Once she reached her street, she looks over at the opera house and sighs. "What's the harm, Val? One little peek won't hurt anyone." She muttered to herself. After placing her purse in her house and changing out of her suit into a soft white dress with light ruffles and simple nude flats, she exited her house and went to the opera house, going inside. Once inside, she looked around, walking to the stage. 'Wow.. this is beautiful..' she thought. Just then, the entire house darkened and standing on the stage.. was a woman? She took a look at her, studying her with her eyes.

She had long and curly auburn hair tied into a low ponytail, deep mocha skin, stormy gray eyes, and she wore a red suit that was the color of deep yet rich garnets with golden accents, black lace gloves, black pants which contrasted perfectly with the suit, black dress shoes and tied around her face was a scarlet opera mask with golden patterns on it. "Who.. are you?" She asked. The woman in red smiled at her, extending her lace gloved hand for her to take. "It is nothing much, but.." she looked up at her, to meet her eyes. "Sing for me, my angel."

Valentina felt like she was going to turn red, because suddenly she took the hand of the masked woman and cleared her throat.

(A/n: Italic is Valentina, bold is the phantom/Carmen and Italic mixed with bold is a duet with Valentina and Carmen! Hope that clears up everything!)

Valentina: "in sleep she sang to me, in dreams she came. That voice which calls to me. (Valentina) and speaks my name~. And do I dream again? (Down into this labyrinth again~) For now I find The phantom of the opera is there~ inside my mind. (Inside your mind)."

Carmen: "Sing once again with me~ Our strange duet~ My power over you grows stronger yet. And though you turn from me (Turn from you.) To glance behind.. (Glance behind.) The phantom of the opera is there~ inside your mind."

Valentina was lifted to the stage and was being spun around, causing her blonde hair to swirl around her face and her dress's skirt to spin with each movement.

Valentina: "Those who have seen your face, (this face..) draw back in fear.. (this infection..) I am the mask you wear/the mask I wear. (It's me they hear.) your spirit and my voice (my spirit and your voice) in one combined!~ The phantom of the opera is there..~ inside my mind!~ (beware, the phantom of the opera~ She's there, the phantom of the opera~.)"

The red dressed woman was looking at Valentina with nothing but shock and something else.. what was it? She shook her head, watching the beautiful blonde singing for her..

"In all my fantasies (in all your fantasies), (you always knew, woman and mystery.) were both in you, and in this labyrinth, all in you, where night is blind! (Angel, grant to me your glory.) The phantom of the opera is there.. inside my mind.. (inside your mind. Beware, the phantom of the opera.) she's there, the phantom of the opera~ (sing.)"

Valentina kept singing the high note as the woman in red kept on encouraging her. She kept rising her voice as she called her angel of music.. "oh my god.." she breathed, gasping for air. "Are you alright, my angel of music?" Asked the woman to which Valentina nodded her head in a small yes. "I wasn't expecting to sing my voice off.." she gasped before being led to what seemed to be her secret lair. "Wow.. I didn't think this was under the house!" She said, looking around with her eyes sparkling like clear skies.

That was then when her back was turned, she felt the phantom's arm around her waist as she was handed a beautiful blood red rose. "For my angel." For the first time in her life, Valentina was blushing under the dim lighting as nobody ever treated her like this.. she accepted the rose  and twirled it against her fingers. "Thank you." She whispered against the flower's soft petals, gently kissing them. Looking at the phantom with a look in her eyes that was strictly innocent, she looked into her eyes. "What is your name?" She asked.

"My name is Carmen, Angel of music." She took Valentina's hand in her own and gently pressed it against her lips. "And you are?" She murmured softly, causing the blonde woman's heart to beat loudly in her chest. "My name is Valentina, Valentina Fraser." She whispered, unable to look at her in the eyes anymore. Staring at the rose in her hand, not breaking eye contact with it, she spoke. "I need to be going home now, it was a pleasure to meet you, Carmen." She looked at the phantom's sad face and smiled sweetly.

"Don't worry! I'll come back the next night!" She said as the phantom woman smiled back, eager to see her once more. Carmen watched as Valentina walked out of the opera house, still holding the flower she had been given. Once she was out, She went straight home. The woman placed the rose in a vase and went up to her room. Visions of the phantom she seen filled her brain. "Fuck." She said, going to her desk and cracking open her diary. She grabbed a pen from a holder and started writing. Once she finished writing, she paused to read it.

'Dear, Diary, tonight I had just met the most beautiful woman I have ever seen! Trust me, I know who I'm talking about. She had long slightly curly auburn hair tied into a low ponytail, deep mocha skin, stormy eyes, and she was wearing a suit that was the color of garnets with golden accents, black pants, black lace gloves, black dress shoes, and tied around her face was a scarlet opera mask with golden patterns. We sang a duet together, she led me to underneath the opera house and gave me a blood red rose..

She told me her name was Carmen and in return I told her mine, while she kissed my hand.. I was flustered and didn't want to leave for some strange reason.. but I had to. When I told her I had to return home, she seemed sad.. but I promised her I would visit the next night. Good god, what's wrong with me?

Valentina Irene Fraser, 4/7/20.'

She closed her diary and drifted off to sleep as her past romances flashed before her eyes.. she felt hot tears roll down her face before she felt hands caressing her cheek, getting her to calm down and felt the covers being placed over her shivering body along with a pair of lips on her temple, causing her to relax. She dreamt of the phantom in the opera house as she slipped into her mind.
