83- harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban
Only one person even looked vaguely familiar and it was the girl in the pink scarf. Bright pink, might I add? I've worked at this place for two years and I'd never met her or spoken to her before today. She had seen me, but I hadn't seen her so I guessed that it was only fair that I see her as well.
So, I ran.
That sounds very romantic comedy movie like and I was totally hoping that some parts of it were true and that I could catch up to the girl. The girl, who quite frankly, stole my heart without even trying. And to think it all started with me finally deciding to clean the classics section.
Usually, I didn't even go near the section because the person in the shift before mine always cleaned it, which, as I now knew was her shift. Maybe she forgot, or maybe she left it dirty on purpose, I won't know until I ask her.
Speaking of which, I was still running. She hasn't spotted me yet but I can see the pink through the crowd, or maybe, I could just see her.
It's a crazy thing to do, running after someone who you didn't know and who didn't know you. I suppose that we do know each other, in a way. Still, we are strangers who don't even know each other's name. If someone came running at me, I'd probably run the other way. In a way, it's good that she doesn't know that I'm following her.
It was ten minutes until I finally caught up to her. Those ten minutes consisted of bumping into many people and apologizing many times. It also consisted of me walking because running in that traffic was just too insane. Plus, she just kept walking slowly so I figured I could reach her in my own time and she still wouldn't know.
When I tapped her shoulder, she turned around, her scarf slipping just a bit, revealing her raven colored hair with blue highlights. Oh, the color blue, I will never understand its fascination. Her brown eyes widened upon seeing me and she looked like a deer caught in the headlights, which would've been weird on anyone, but it was really just cute on her.
She was just starting to open her mouth to talk when I spoke first, deciding that it was better if I started considering I was the one who had followed her and my greeting was, well, it was not stereotypical, but it also was stereotypical.
"Hey."
"Hey," she replied.
