Her green eyes were staring into my brown ones, her gaze so intense that it could stare into my soul, made me feel like I need a concealer to hide whatever she's searching for. Her one look towards me can make my body feel like jelly. Her lips were barely touching mine, whereas mine was leaning into her, searching for the warmth that her eyes promised to provide. It's uncanny how much her one presence affects me. Our lips were about to touch, and I was happy because this is what I've always wanted. I've always wanted to taste those lips of her. Blissfully, I opened my eyes just a little to look at her beautiful face and...

WHY AM I SEEING MY BEST FREND'S FACE WHEN I'M ABOUT TO KISS THE GIRL OF MY DREAM?

WAIT... WHY'S HE EVEN HERE?!

I suddenly opened my eyes and looked around my surroundings, blinked at the sunlight streaming through my window. My gaze shifted and reached over my desk, where I saw a figure looking down at me like I'm some kind of lunatic. It startled me for a moment, then I blinked aggressively until that figure turned into my best friend. What is he doing here at this time of the day?

"It's Monday, and we're already late to school just because you were too busy dreaming only god knows what," Ari replied as if he was reading my thoughts.

I blushed at the thought but immediately maintained my facial expression, so he wouldn't know that his best friend was thinking about that good-looking girl, he was about to kiss in his dream. I can hardly bear people touching me, even appropriately and here i was about to shove my tongue down the throat of someone whom i barely know. Haha what an irony!

The realization hit me suddenly, and I woke up throwing away my blanket, rushing straight into my bathroom. Damn! I'm already late, and now I've to take a cold shower, thanks to my capability of dreaming such an unholy thing. What a great way to start your morning, right?! Quickly, I finished my morning routine and got dressed for my school. I stepped outside of my room and saw that Ari was nowhere to be found. Assuming that he was already outside in his car, waiting for me, I made my way to the car. 

Note: Heyy all!! It's my first time trying to write a story 😊 I would be so grateful if you guys give me some feedback (negative or positive) since all i wanna focus for now is improvement.
