She was.
She believed she could never have a first love.
She believed she could never rise up her scores.
She believed she could never have anything that belong to her.
She believed she was worth nothing, because nobody ever told her how much her smile made them happy. Nobody ever told her how much she lighted up a room when she entered. Nobody ever told her how much they needed her by their side. She had flaws, many of them, but she still was magnificent in all her ways. She was part of this world. Yes, she was.
She left her life alone. She kept all of her thoughts inside, because she thought nobody will listen. She left, without a hand grabing her to stay alive. She left, crying like she always did, but she knew it was the last time she would. She left, with the pain in her eyes growing more and more. She left, without writing a letter, because she didn't think anyone would want to read. She left, too young to remember her greatest moment, too young to remember her greatest accomplishement, too young to have find her reason to stay. She couldn't find a purpose of going further, everything pushing her back.
They found her alone. They all reacted differently. Some cried for weeks. Some closed themself. Some accused themself for the event. Some disappeared for some time, before coming back as happy as ever. Some forgot their will to live, but found it together. Nobody thought she was feeling that bad. Nobody thought she would do anything like that. Nobody understood why she did but they all acted like they did. They all tried to keep going like nothing happened, but she wasn't there anymore. She was gone.
At least, they thought she was. For her, it was all another story. When she closed her eyes for the last time, she opened them soon after, leaving her own body. She couldn't feel her fingers, toes, arms, legs, face, ears... Did she ever felt her ears? She couldn't feel her own body. She looked around. Wings were attache to her back, beautiful, big and whites. She couldn't really see herself, as some shades of grey and whites moved around like the wind would made a scarf goes wild. When she moved her hands around, she saw a bracelet with some inscription on. "Life wasn't meant to be short, make sure the ones you love know it."
