Late Date
Henry stared out the window of his room, waiting impatiently. He checked his phone for the 13th time that night. Ray was supposed to be there by now. It was 12 and a school night. He had no business being up, but he couldn't sleep. He had planned a late-date with Ray, and he wouldn't let his curfew ruin it.
He softly tapped his sneakers against the wall as he stared at the night sky. After a few minutes, he heard some rustling in the bush underneath his window. He opened it to see Ray, trying to crawl up the side of his house, to no avail. He giggled a bit, softly calling out to Ray. "I'll meet you down at the door." He said.
He grabbed his drawstring bag and softly closed his bedroom door. He tip-toed down the hallway and once he reached the first floor, he saw Piper on her phone. She looked up at him and was about to say something before he grabbed a dollar and slipped it her way. She locked her lips and threw the key away.
He smiled before slipping into the night. Ray was leaning against his motorcycle, with his helmet in hand, and he was scrolling through his phone. "You ready, babe?" He asked, before looking at me with a small smile. Henry kissed Ray on the cheek, waiting for Ray to get on the bike. Ray got on and handed Henry the helmet. Henry sat on the bike. Wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's chest, Henry braced for the speed.
The bike jolted forward as they sped off into the night. Henry opened his eyes slightly to see the countryside warping past him. He smiled widely and nuzzled his nose into Ray's back. Ray glanced behind him and smiled. Henry was just so damn adorable. They pulled over to a restaurant with a giant M. Henry recognized the place as soon as he looked those golden arches. He hopped off the bike and set his helmet on the handlebars.
As soon as he walked, he smiled. The smell of fries and apple pie filled the area. He walked over to the counter and waited. When it was his turn to order, he looked up at Ray who was busy staring at the menu. His gaze turned to the employee and he ordered a coffee. Ray took a few minutes studying the menu before he finally ordered a coffee and two cookies. They walked over to a table and sat down. Henry checked his phone. 12:34 am. After a few minutes, the drinks came followed by two warm chocolate chip cookies. They grabbed their drink and cookies and stepped outside.
Henry bit his cookie and the chocolate melted in his mouth, he moaned a bit. "Don't get so excited, we're not even at the fun part yet," Ray said before he wolfed down his cookie. Henry nodded and sipped at his coffee, as Ray did the same. Soon, they were finished with the coffee and they hopped back onto the bike, fitting their helmets. Ray zoomed out of the parking lot and drove to a nearby park. Once, they got off, Ray opened the side bags and pulled out a blanket along with some snacks.
"You planned a picnic?" Henry said, a slight blush appeared on his cheeks. "No, not just an ordinary picnic," He said, walking over to a patch of grass and setting the blanket down. He pulled out his phone and pulled out the kickstand. Setting it down, he turned to me. "It's a Netflix picnic. A Netnic, if you will." Henry plopped down on the blanket and laid down. Ray grabbed the snacks and laid them out. There were gummy bears, chocolate, and assorted nuts.
Ray pulled up Netflix, and searched for something good. "What Happened To Monday?" Henry asked. "That sounds interesting." He clicked it. About 15 minutes into the movie, Ray paused it. (guys there's gonna be spoilers for the movie) "Wait, so there's 7 twins and they all have to act as one person?" "Who's Karen Settman?" "Which one is Monday?" "Why are they named after the days of the week?"
Henry sighed, staring at Ray. "I don't know Ray, why don't we watch the movie and find out, instead of asking questions." He said. "Ouch." Ray faked offense. When the movie was done, they sat in silence before screaming: "What the literal fuck?" out loud. "So, she ratted out her family because she wanted her twins to be safe?" Ray said. "That makes no sense." Henry said.
"Hey, what if I was secretly one of many septuplets?" Henry joked. "Then, you'd be the cutest one." Ray gushed. "But we'd all lo-" Henry cut himself off before finishing. He got up and offered Ray his hand. They grabbed the wrappers and threw them in the trash before packing up the rest of the stuff.
They walked over to the motorcycle and sat for a second. "What now?" Henry asked. Ray thought for a second. "Let's head down to the Man Cave, I have an idea." He said, before pulling out and heading for the Man Cave. They stopped in front of the store and went down to the Man Cave. After they plummeted down, Henry and Ray got up from the floor and walked in. "So, what's your idea?" Henry said, sitting down on the couch. Ray ran into his room, before pulling out a speaker with microphones on the sides. He looked at Henry with a slight smile.
Henry got up and grabbed a microphone. He chose a song, while Ray sat down, smiling. The song began. "Did my invitations disappear?" He began. "Why'd I put my heart on all my cursive letters?" He did a twirl. "Tell me why the hell no one is here. Tell me what to do to make it all feel better." He looked at Ray. "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to." Henry screamed. "It's my party and I'll cry, cry, cry.." He gave the mic to Ray. "Beat that." He said. "You're gonna wish you didn't challenge me. Time to show my awesome rap skills!" He chose his song. Henry sat on the couch, rolling his eyes and crossing his legs.
"Nobody thinks what I think. Nobody dreams when they blink, think things on the brink of blasphemy, I'm my own shrink. Think things are-" he cut himself off to catch his breath. "-After me, I'm my catastrophe, I'm a kitchen sink, you dont know what that means, because a kitchen sink to you, isn't a kitchen sink to me okay fren?" He stopped, he leaned down and put his hands on his knees. Henry clapped slowly. "Such awesome skills." He remarked. "Let's see you do better." He spat back. "Gladly." Ray handed Henry the microphone.
"Nobody thinks what you think, no one, Empathy might be on the brink of extinction, theywillpladydsafjdklnddgfdk." Ray laughed. "Guess I'm the better rapper." He said. "You may be the better rapper, but I'm the better kisser." Henry winked. "Wanna test that?" Ray said with a smirk. He dragged Henry over to the couch, Henry sitting on his lap. He pulled Henry closer and brushed his lips against the blonde's.
Henry wrapped his arms around Ray's neck, kissing him passionately. They fought for dominance before, Ray won, he tongue exploring the cracks and crevasses of the teens mouth. Henry pulled away, a line of spit connected between the lovers lips. He pulled out his phone and checked the time. 5:19 am. "Holy crap, I have to be home before my parents wake up." He said, trying to get up.
Ray wrapped his arms around Henry's back, restraining him. "Don't go." Ray pouted. "I have to." Henry said, moving off of him. "What am I gonna do about this?" Ray said. Henry saw a bulge in his pants. How did he not notice that? He shrugged. "I dunno." He said, as he leaned down and started to rub it. It started throbbing in his jeans. He softly jerked the imprint and then grabbed his bag and walked over to the tubes. "You're just gonna leave me here with a boner?" Ray asked. Henry nodded. "Yeah. Jerk off or something. I'll be back after school, so you can punish me." Henry giggled. "You're such a tease!" Ray playfully shouted as Henry shot up the tube.
Henry ran to his house, his hair flopping against his head. He walked up his porch and slowly opened the door. He slipped inside his house and walked up the stairs. He walked into his room and on the bed, smiling. He checked his bedside clock. 5:37 am. He closed his eyes only to hear his window open. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw someone fall to the floor. "Shit!" He heard a familiar voice. He turned on the light to see Ray on the floor. "What are you doing?" Henry said. Ray looked up at Henry, before getting up. "Just wanted to give you one more kiss." He said, walking over to Henry.
The teen smiled before pecking him on the lips. "I'll be waiting for you." Ray said, slapping Henry's butt before disappearing out the window. Henry giggled and laid back in bed, cutting off the light. He yawned, before drifting away to sleep. "Best date ever."
