Chapter 24: Protect The Wolf and Moon

Celena stands under the hot spray of the shower.  As soon as she got to Roman's house and Pryce got Peter on to the hospital bed and left her alone, she had to get a shower before she could function the day.  So she went to the private bathroom in Roman's room.  She watches the dirt, goop from the mill and blood swirl down the drain.  Everything was screwing up.  That doctor just had to ruin everything for them.  They were so close and that bitch...she didn't even care anymore.  She didn't care what happened to Chasseur after she left.  Olivia can do whatever the hell she wants to her.  All Celena cared about was Peter and Roman.  She whimpers when flashbacks of Chasseur killing that girl invaded her mind.  If Celena didn't get to Peter, he would have ended up the same.  She cries against the spray, mixing her tears with the water.

After her shower she walks wearing nothing but a towel towards the foggy mirror.  She wipes away the steams and looks at herself.  Eyes red from crying, bags under them from the countless nights of being awake for Roman in cause he woke up.  She looks at the hand that stopped the bullet and sees a bruise where the bullet stopped.  It still hurt.  She was so tired. Emotionally and physically tired.  She walks out of the bathroom and looks around Roman's room.  Her clothes were spread out on his bed, but she wasn't in a hurry to get dressed.  She walks over to study every inch.  His large bed.  His messy clothes pile in the corner.  His bar full of alcohol.  His packs of cigarettes he keeps in a storage box.  She drags her fingers over a button up shirt that was hanging off the closet door.  She picks up the pajamas he was wearing while he was in his coma.  The scent of him still lingers in the cloth.  She couldn't help but breathe in his smell as she presses the pajama top against her nose.

Suddenly, a door slams from downstairs and she hears Roman's frantic voice.

"Celena!  Celena!" He calls out.

She opens the bedroom door, "I'm up here, Roman!" She calls back.

(Celena's change of clothes ^^^)

As she was getting dressed, she hears Roman's rapid footsteps drawing near.  Roman rushes into Shelley's room and skids to a halt when he sees a passed out wolf on the hospital bed.  Peter's wolf.

"Celena?" Roman calls out, looking around.

She walks inside the room behind him, "I'm here." She sighs.

Roman turns around quickly and sighs in relief.  He stomps towards her and pulls her into his arms tightly.  Celena slowly lifts her arms and wraps them around him, holding on to him tightly till he pulls away and shakes her shoulders.

"You scared the shit out of me!  Where the hell did you go?" He asks furiously.

"Why don't you ask your bitch of a mother." She scoffs and moves away to sit on the bed with Peter.  She could hear the snorts of his snores while he sleeps.

"My mother?  What the fuck does she have to do with this?" Roman frowns.

Celena has had it, she cracks right there and then, "She was there.  At the mill.  Watching us." She confesses.

"What?" Roman was confused.

Before Celena could tell more, the sun was rising from the distance and at the same time, they could hear bones cracking from Peter.  Celena gets up and the two of them watches the wolf practically melt away from their sight.  Fur sucks back into the pores, bones pop back into pace and shrink into human size.  Slowly, inch by inch, Peter was coming back to them.

Meanwhile, with Norman's day, he heard about the attack on Sworn's daughters and, he was in shock.  Relieved, yet he felt so terrible.  When he walks into the living room, he stops and spies Matt snoring on the couch, but he also sees Letha sleeping on top of him.  At least they had their clothes on, but didn't make him feel better.  He sighs softly and senses Marie behind him.

"I prayed.  I prayed if there was an attack, that it would be anyone else, but her.  Anyone." Norman sighs.

Marie nods, "So did I."

"I need to go check on Christina.  See if she can handle the news.  And I got to find Tom.  If it was me, if it was Letha...I would be hunting down whoever killed her.  And I know he's going to do the same."

"Oh, god." She gasps in realization.

"After I talk to Tom and, hopefully, get him to listen, I'll go find Peter.  Celena might be with him." Norman states.

Marie nods, "Be careful." She says.

But Christina was no better.  When Norman walked into that room, he doesn't see the brunette girl he's been talking to for weeks.  He walks in and sees a head full of white hair.  Snow white hair.  Not a single strand of brown could be seen.  He tried talking to her, but she was unresponsive.

So he went off to find Tom next.  And he found him...in a bar with most of the town mourning with him.  He mostly talked about the good times he and his late wife use to come to the bar before his daughters were born.  When Tom asked about Norman's family, he knew he needed to talk to him and make him think twice before saying something that he could regret, and he did...He talked about Dr. Chasseur and her suspicion of Peter and he begin to say how this all started when Peter moved here.  Riling up the crowd.  Pretty soon, every hunter and drunk was shouting and cheering as they begin to go lynch mob mode and take off to find Peter.  First, they started at his house.  Lynda was pacing the floor till it was flat from her feet.  She gasps when she sees the mob heading towards the house.  Hearing the shouts.

"Woo!

"Hey, anybody home?"

"Come on out."

"Yeah! Come on! Yee-haw!"

"Yeah, baby! Knock! Knock! Anybody home?"

They shouted and banged on the windows and walls.  Throwing rocks to break the glass.  They eventually break the door open and rush inside, laughing in triumph.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pryce makes it back to the mill, prepared for a mess as he stands dressed in long rubber gloves and a protective apron.  He already managed to get rid of Chasseur's van and had her body ready for transport.  When he walked back towards Olivia, she was using the eye dropper vital again.  She shudders in pleasure and lies against her car.  He spies the gunshot wound on her chest.
"Wasn't so bad now, was it?" She chuckles.
"Your dogcatcher has been taken care of.  Will there be anything else?" Pryce sneers.  Tired of being her janitor.
She sighs and looks at him with a lazy look, "Not yet. Though I really must change first." She mutters bitterly as she looks at the wound in her dress.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Finally, Peter was fully human and begins to stir from his sleep.  Celena threw a blanket over him as his naked form was whole.

Peter grunts and begins to groan and clutch his head.  He sits up fast, but Roman and Celena rush to him before he hurt himself.

"Ah!"

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, it's OK." Roman assures him.

"Peter, your safe.  It's OK. You're OK. You're OK." Celena comforts him and brushes his hair out of his face.

Roman exclaims in disbelief, "I saw it. I mean I saw you.  We saw you."

Peter frowns at them in confusion, "Wh-what?"

"Changing back from you know. It was fucking beautiful." Roman exclaims again.

Peter scoffs, "If you say so. Aah! My head feels like a ***damn war dance is inside of it." He groans in pain and looks around.  How did he get here? "Did you two drag me back here?"

"Last we saw, you were down." Roman states.

"Down?" Peter frowns in confusion.

"Chasseur shot you with a dart." Celena sighs out and moves to sit in a chair, covering her face as she leans her elbows on her knees.

"Oh, Chasseur!" Peter exclaims in anger.

"She was gonna take you away. I, I tried to tell her how it wasn't you but...Fuck! Fuck!" Roman wanted to kick himself.

"What?"

"I should have been stronger for you."

"Stronger?"

"I tried to stop her, I did, but she had a gun. So I left. But then I circled back, but by then you were gone.  Celena was gone too!" Roman says.

"What?!  Where the fuck did you go?" Peter demanded.

"She was there." Celena exhales sharply.

"What?" Peter frowns.

Celena rubs her face and turns to look at both of them, "Olivia was there...at the mill.  She grabbed me at the same time when you were knocked out.  She knows.  About everything.  About you...about what we're doing...about me." Celena scoffs and looks away.

Roman frowns, "What?  How the hell does she know?"

Celena sighs, "That night when you went into the coma.  I lost control." She scoffs.  "I attacked Dr. Pryce." She stutters in guilt.

"You what?" Peter gasps.

"I couldn't stop myself.  I thought he killed Roman and it freaked me out!  He told Olivia.  Fucking dick.  But she hasn't said one word to anyone.  I want to know why.  She's up to something.  I know it." Celena says strongly.

Roman sighs, "I'll keep an eye on my mom.  After I called you, Mom called me.  She told me to come back home and keep and eye on you and Celena." He says to both of them.

"Your mom?"

"Yeah. Two weeks in a fucking coma, and she didn't even ask me how I felt. Weird, huh?" He scoffs.

"I'm, I'm no judge."

"Anyway I get back home and there you are, and Celena was here, but Mom's gone." Roman sighs, then looks down, rubbing his face.

Celena gets up and walks to stand close to Peter, "There's something else."

"What?" Peter asks.

"The Vargulf.  He attacked last night.  The Sherriff's house.  Alexa and Alyssa Sworn." She says sadly.

"Shit." Peter's eyes widen, "Have you heard from my mom?"

"What do you mean?" Roman asks.

"Roman, the vargulf went after the Sherriff's daughters!  What do you think the Sherriff is gonna do after that?" Celena points at Peter. "Oh, if you saw his face...he wanted blood."

"Fuckers know about me, they gotta know about her." Peter says as he tries to get up, but Celena and Roman hold him down.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Stay here. Stay here. I'll check on the trailer, make sure she's all right, OK?"

Peter nods, "Yeah, OK. Whatever. Just go, please." He begs.

"I'll stay here.  Be careful." Celena says.

Roman nods, "All right."

Peter sighs and leans back against the pillows, groaning softly.  Celena moves and begins to massage his head.  He grunts as it begins to work.  The pain was going down a little.

"Thank you." He sighs deeply.

"Just rest." She whispers.

Roman races against time to get to Peter's trailer.  When he arrives, he skids to a halt when he sees the graffiti.  'Gypsy Killer' and other vulgar drawings all over.  He sighs and walks in carefully, minding the broken glass.  The furniture was destroyed and thrown all over the place.

"Hello? Hello?" He calls out.

"Hey!" A voice calls out behind him and a loud thud makes him jump in fright.

"Oh, shit!" He exclaims.

He watches Lynda pop up like a jack in the box from the floor.  A secret entrance to a safe spot, he guesses.

She laughs and holds a hand out for help, "Gypsies need a way out!"

"You OK?" He asks as he helps her out of the hole.

"Yeah. How's Peter?  Celena?" She asks.

"Uh, he, he's fine.  They're both fine." He says.

"Ah! Just like Peter. All right, well funny thing is that compared to most places in the world, this place is hog heaven. Um, can you get that chandelier? And that plate with the shells on it? They took my money." She scoffs as she begins to go through all of her stuff, grabbing as much as she can.

"Close call, huh?" Roman says as he begins to help her grab what she needs.

"Yeah. Um Destiny gave me a head's up."

"How would she know anything about it?" Roman frowns in confusion.

"Oh, well, she, uh she has her way. Where's the picture? Do you see a picture of Nicolae?" She asks as she looks around.

Roman finds it for her and hands it to her, "Here it is."

"Um OK." She sighs and packs it up."

"Peter slept at the house.  You can just follow me up there." He offers, but Lynda quickly declines.

"Uh, yeah, no, no. I don't, I don't think so. I think, uh the Rumanceks and the Godfreys are a little too close for my comfort." She laughs.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Roman asks, frowning at that remark.

"Oh, whoa! Can anyone smell smoke here? If you want to help Peter, keep him away from the animals that did this." She states.

Roman walks out of the trailer and calls Peter and Celena for a heads up.  Celena gets up and grabs the phone, turning on the speaker and continues to massage Peter's head.

"Yeah?" Peter mutters.

"Your mom's OK but the trailer looks like the last time Shelley took dancing lessons." Roman scoffs out.

Peter rolls his eyes and rubs his head, "Shit." He grunts and sits up as the pain was finally gone.

"How are you feeling?"

Peter sighs, "Actually, I'm fucking starving." He laughs.

Celena rolls her eyes, "I get the hint.  Roman, be careful out there.  And hurry back."

Roman sighs and nods, "All right." He cuts the call and turns back to walk inside.  He sees Lynda cooing at a cat.

"Hey, baby."

"Where you gonna go?" Roman asks.

Lynda sighs, "I don't know. Oh! I hope you're not allergic to cats. Peter loves that cat." She says as she heads out the door.

Roman frowns and moves to get the cat.  He holds it gently and strokes it's head and chin, trying to comfort him.

"Hey. Hey, come here, buddy. It's OK, it's OK, it's OK. Shh, shh, shh."

Celena was busy cooking in the kitchen for Peter.  She managed to score a large steak and knew that he would love it.  She just placed it on the frying pan and it begins to sizzle.

Peter came down dressed in jeans and started sniffing the air.  His stomach growls loudly as he takes a deep breath in the kitchen.  He swears he was drooling.

"Oh, yeah. Yeah." He sniffs deeply as he approaches the food.

"Rare?" Celena laughs. "Why bother asking?" She snorts, throwing her hand up and laughs.

Peter stands behind her, kissing her neck, "It's so sexy watching a beautiful woman cook." He growls lowly.

"Easy, tiger.  Don't make me burn it." She giggles as he sucks on her weak spots.

"Make it still mooing." He sighs, slapping her ass and moves away to lean on the kitchen island.

Celena left it on the pan for a few more seconds then takes a fork to pick it up and place it on a plate.

"Do you want anything else with...?" Celena trails off as Peter snatches the meat off the plate and begins eating it with his hands.  "...it?"

Peter sighs in pleasure as he chews on the meat, swallowing it, "Ah! Ah...God, I needed that." He says.

Celena sighs and moves to jump on the island, she flinches when more of the visions of Chasseur's mind hits her.

Peter stops chomping and swallows the meat, dropping it and moves to stand in front of Celena.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asks.

She shudders and just wraps her arms around his neck and buries her face in his neck.

"Hey, it's ok." He whispers.

"Chasseur's part of the order." She sighs out.

Peter frowns and pulls out of her arms, "Order?"

"Remember when Roman was talking about these...knights who were Order of the Dragon?  They're real.  Chasseur worked for them.  They claim to be protectors, but they're really hunters.  They hunt people like you...like Roman.  I saw her first victim." She points at the center of her head.  "I forced her to show me who she was.  I saw it all.  I saw what she did.  Her first kill...was a pregnant werewolf." Her voice cracks.

Peter shudders at what she says and pulls her back into his arms.  He has heard of the Order from Nicolai.  Always believed it to be a myth.  A bedtime story his grandfather told.  But they were real.

"I didn't want to tell Roman, not then.  He was already worried about you.  I didn't want to add more stress on him.  I know I have to tell him soon." She sighs. "I can't stop seeing her killing that poor girl."

"We'll tell him soon. First, you need to think about something else." Peter says.

Celena scoffs, "Like what?"

Peter moves and surprises her with a passionate kiss, thrusting his tongue inside and dances with hers. He pulls her close till he grinds between her legs. Celena moans softly against his lips. He pants softly as he slowly breaks the kiss.

"Thinking what I'm thinking?" He smirks.

"Are you always this horny when you change?" She scoffs, but she was incredibly turned on.

Inhaling deeply, he could sense her arousal and practically taste the wetness of her already, "Best thing about it, I can go on for hours." He growls lowly.

Celena giggles as he growls playfully and picks her off the island.  He carries her bridal style and heads for the stairs, but stops when the kitchen door opens.  It was Matt and Letha.

"Matt, I swear you have the worst timing." Celena pouts and Peter places her down on her feet.

Letha giggles and blushes, "Sorry, but I wanted to come and check on Roman.  Shelley says he was awake?"

Celena nods, "Yup, he woke up yesterday.  He's ok.  He went to check on Lynda for Peter.  We just heard that the locals dropped by." She mutters bitterly.

Letha sighs in distraught, "Oh, god, is your mom ok?"

"Yeah, she's ok.  Roman is helping her out." Peter says.

"We heard about the Sworn Sisters, as well.  We know you didn't do it." Matt states.

"He was with me all night long. I swear it." Celena says.

"We believe you." Letha nods.

"What do we do now?" Celena sighs as Peter wraps his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Peter shrugs, "I guess we just stand here like this until something else happens." He sighs.

Suddenly, the sound of tires screeching is made outside.  Car doors slamming.  Peter rushes to the window and curses in Romani.

"Come on, let's go." Peter says as he pulls Celena to follow him.

Matt grabs Letha and they rush to get out of the house, but every turn they make, it runs back into the cops.

"Son of a bitch!" One cop shouts.

"They're inside." Celena gasps and runs with Peter towards another way.

"Check the greenhouse."

"Yeah. Copy that." The sound of walkie-talkies blare near them.

They rush down the stairs, but Letha stops with a confused look.

"Peter, they think you killed them?" She gasps.

"Cops don't think. Come on, front door." Pete says and rushes with Celena and the others.   They rush down a hallway, but skid to a stop when one of the cops blocked their way.

"Hey!"

"No, no, no, no."

"Come on." Peter says and tries another way, but another cop blocked their path. "Whoa!  No, no. Come on."

"Where are we going?" Celena pants out as they rush to the back doors to the garden that led out towards the woods.

"To the woods. Whenever you're in trouble, head for the woods." Peter says.

But before they could reach the knob, the cops catches them.

"Stop fucking now! Motherfucker! All of you, turn around, hands in the air. I won't say it again." The cop shouts at them, pointing his gun at them all.

They all turn around with their hands up, but Peter gets on his knees with his hands behind his back, ready to be cuffed.  Celena trembles with annoyance. She has had it.

"That's that." First cop smirks.

"The place looks empty." Second cop states.  "You all right?"

"Just dandy. Unlike this piece of murdering shit.  Move aside." The cop shoves them all away from Peter, holding up his gun in front of them.

"He didn't do anything." Celena protests.

"Bullshit, he didn't." First cop scoffs and moves to cuff Peter, "Peter Rumancek, you have the right to remain fucked. If you choose to waive that right, further fucking will be provided for you free of charge." He punches Peter in the gut.

"Stop it!" Celena shouts.

"You shut up, slut." First cop traps Peter in a headlock, "You know, I should do you right here, you little scum. I've known Tom Sworn's girls all their lives."

"Leave him alone!" Celena punches him in the face.

"FUCKING BITCH!" The cop shouts and backhands her in the face.

"Celena!" Letha gasps as Matt catches Celena as she falls back from the impact.

"You do that again, I'm gonna break his ***damn neck."  The cop threatens as he tightens his hold around Peter's neck.

Peter growls lowly, "Pula va cadea."

"What the fuck was that?" The cop scoffs.

"Oh, you'll get the joke when your dick falls off." Peter mutters.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Funny boy, huh?" The cop laughs sarcastically and punches him again.

Peter grunts in pain, coughing as the air is forced out of his body.

"Stop it!" Celena shouts.

The cop points his gun at her, "Shut that bitch up before I arrest her ass too."

"Get that fucking gun out of my face!" Celena yells.

The second cop jumps as he sees Shelley behind him and points his gun at her.

Shelley whimpers in terror and holds up her hands.

Celena snaps towards the whimpers and gasps, "Shelley."

"Oh, that's fucking perfect. Go! Get the hell out of here!" The first cops shout at her.

"Shelley!" Viktor gasps and rushes in to stand in front of her. Viktor's presence startles the cop and a gunshot goes off.  Viktor catches the bullet before he hits Shelley and screams in pain as he kneels over.  Shelley screams in terror and checks on Viktor.  Letha screams with Shelley.

"Oh, shit!" The cop gasps.

Roman rushes in to check on them, "Oh, shit.  Vik, you ok?"

Clutching a blood fist, Viktor opens his hand and shows them the bullet, but blood covered his palm, "That hurt like a bitch!" He groans.

Roman laughs and pats Viktor's cheek, "You sneaky son of a bitch."

Shelley cries and hugs Viktor tight, "You saved my life." She says in her mind.

"Like I would let anyone hurt you." Viktor scoffs and hugs her back with one arm.

"Oh, brilliant!" First cop scoffs as he sees Roman.

"He's ok, Shell.  It's ok." Roman says as he calms his sister.  "Get him out of here.  Go." He says as she helps Viktor get up to his feet and walks out of the room.

"Ho-ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Roman you're awake? Stay back." The first cop warns as Roman walks up to him.

"What are you doing? You have a gun pointed at the back of your head. Do not, repeat, do not turn around!" The second cop warns with a shakily breath.

"Roman, be careful." Letha says.

"You think I won't?" The cop scoffs.

Roman looks over and scans everyone, making sure everyone was ok.  Peter was beaten up, but he was alive.  Celena had a red print across her cheek.

"What happened?" He demanded as he sends the question into her mind.

"Cop sucker punched me." She says.

Everyone frowns at her, but the cops glare at her.

Roman glares and turns towards the second cop, "Put the gun in your mouth." He commands, forcing the cop to fall into his 'look'.

"Come back here! What the fuck are you doing?" The first cop commands, then watches in confusion as his partner slowly turns his gun and shoves it into his own mouth.

Roman turns to the other cop, "Uncuff him."

"Screw you!" The first cop sneers at him.

Roman turns to the cop with the gun in his mouth, "If he's still handcuffed by the time I count to three, pull the trigger. One...Two...!" Roman shouts as the cop whimpers in terror as his finger hovers over the trigger.  He couldn't stop himself.

"OK, OK! Just calm down, buddy. What the fuck, man?" The first cop quickly uncuffs Peter.  Peter gets to his feet and covers his body over Celena.  Protecting her from anymore harm.

"Come here." Roman glares at the cop, making him come to him, "Get in your car and take the 79 to the West Virginia state line. When you get there you can take the gun out of your mouth, And you will punch yourself in the face hard enough to break your nose. Bye now."

Suddenly, the cops left as they were commanded.  Letha watches in shock and confusion.  She didn't understand what just happened.

"What the fuck?" Matt breaths out.

"Roman. Roman, what did you do to them?" Letha asks.

"I just suggested they relocate." He shrugs.  "You're not safe here." Roman sighs.

"No shit." Peter grunts as he winces in pain.

Roman walks up to Celena and checks her, "You ok?"

"I wanted to kill him." Her voice trembles.

Roman nods, "Yeah.  Me too.  Come on.  We need to find another place.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Letha frantically calls her father, telling him what happened.  Mentioning that Viktor got shot.  Everything that just happened in front of her.  She claims she knew a place that Peter could be safe till all this was over.
Roman drives his SUV with Letha sitting in the passenger's seat and Matt, Celena, and Peter sat in the back.  Peter holds Celena close to him.  They watch Letha give Roman directions that leads them to a huge abandon church and graveyard that was near Hemlock Acres Institute.
"Where the hell are we?" Peter asks.
"I used to take walks back here with my dad." Letha explains as Roman pulls up on a dirt path and everyone sees Norman waiting for them at the chapel.
"This is all part of Hemlock Acres?" Celena asks.
Letha nods and gets out as soon as the car stops.  Peter and Celena follow behind.  Matt gets out as Roman gets out.
"Well, it's a relief to see you up and about, Roman. But you or you should have told me." He points at Romana nd Letha with a look of disappointment.
"I'm sorry, Dad, things have been a little crazy." She apologizes.
"Glad to see you're all right." Norman says to Peter.  He frowns and tips Celena's chin up, "Jesus." He says as he eyes the bruise forming on her cheek.  "Letha told me.  Is Viktor ok? Has he been taken to the hospital?" He asks.
"Dumbass cop missed.  It scared the hell out of Shelley though." Celena says.
Letha frowns and was about to argue but Matt quietly shakes his head.
Norman sighs in relief, "Thank god.  I hope Shelley is ok, though. What that mob did to your home was a disgrace." He says.
"Well, the place needed a tune-up." Peter remarks sarcastically.
Norman scoffs and nods at them to follow, "Come on. Yeah we closed this when we opened the new sanctuary three years ago. Didn't get a chance to clean it up. Anyway, won't have to worry about anyone checking the ashtrays." He says as he leads them all inside the chapel.  It was a large beautiful church but filled with coats of dust and littered with piles of junk.
"Ha."
"What?"
"Uh, you know, it's just been a month of Sundays."
Celena scoffs and turns to Norman, "We didn't know who else to ask. I know that this could cause trouble for you." She says with a apologetic look.
"Well, making bad decisions is one of the perks of ownership. The town has lost its mind." Norman says.
"Peter should stay here until this lunacy dies down." Letha agrees.
"Thank you." Peter says, grateful for his help and all the help he can get.
"Try and find a hole that's not an inch deep in dust. And Roman?  Matt? Give me a hand?" Norman asks.  Meaning he needed to discuss with them.
"All right." Roman says and follows Matt as they head outside.
"What the FUCK is going on?" He demands.
"It's just that sometimes..." Roman tries to explain, but Norman furiously cuts him off.
"You do not get to hold back, not when my daughter is involved!"
"Sometimes a wolf goes crazy and doesn't eat what it kills." Roman says.
"When you say wolf, what exactly do you mean?" Norman frowns.
"He mean werewolf." Matt says.
Norman sighs and rubs his head, refusing to believe that he was dealing with this right now, "You two do realize you're talking to a clinical psychiatrist, not some fucking witch doctor?"
"Assume, just for a moment, that what we're saying is true, OK? Then what?" Roman asks.
"Is it Peter?" Norman asks.
"No." They both say.
"Does Letha know what you're doing?" Norman asks Matt.
Matt smacks his lips, "Not completely.  I don't want her involved as much as you don't.  But I want to protect my friends and her." He swallows roughly and moves to run his fingers over his face, through his hair in frustration.
"Matt, maybe...you should show him." Roman mutters.
Matt turns fast and gives Roman a death glare while Norman looks at them both in confusion, "Show me what?"
"You want to protect Letha, right?  He won't believe us if we have a little bit of proof that some strange shit is going down.  He won't tell anyone.  He's helping us." Roman states.
Matt sighs, it seems he didn't have a choice, "Let me borrow your lighter." He holds a hand out to Roman.
Roman hands it to him and turns to his uncle, "Uncle, please keep an open mind.  I can't prove to you that werewolves exist, but we can show you something that might can show you that this isn't a normal world."
Norman frowns and turns to watch Matt, "Please, Letha doesn't know about this.  I'm not even sure if I want to tell her, but I know I'm gonna have to one day." Matt breaths deeply and places the lighter in his palm and holds it up for them to see. "Ok."
Norman frowns as soft rumbling was made and gasps when the lighter begins to float in Matt's hand.  It flies all around by the movement of Matt's eyes and fingers.
"Is this some sort of trick?" Norman asks as he waves his hand under and above the lighter, feeling no strings.
"No.  It's real.  Celena and Viktor can do the same." Roman says.
Norman shudders in absolute shock and watches the lighter float back down into his palm.  Matt hands Roman back his lighter and rubs his nose as a little blood comes out.
"I try so hard not to use these powers.  And..." Matt begins to laugh, "I tried so hard not to let anyone know about them.  I just want to be normal.  But for Letha, if I have to, I will use them to protect her." He sighs and turns to Norman, "Mr. Godfrey, everything I have said about myself is true.  I never lied to Letha or you and your wife.  I care and I love your daughter.  So much.  I would never do anything to hurt her or let anything hurt her.  I swear."
Norman sighs, he could see truth and fear in those eyes.  He wanted to protect his daughter at all cost.  No matter what.
"Ok, so we got werewolves and telekinetic people.  Anything else?" Norman scoffs.
Roman and Matt shake their heads.
"So you two have been trying to what, find this," Norman begins laughing in disbelief, he couldn't process what he just witnessed.  "...bad werewolf?"
"Vargulf." They correct.
"Excuse me?" Norman frowns at them.
"Vargulf, what they call it.  And he's not bad really. He's just sick." Roman explains.
"But you didn't find him?" Norman asks.
"Not yet." Roman says.
"And that's because?"
"I was in a coma." Roman shrugs.
"I wasn't in the loop till 2 weeks ago.  I was more focused on protecting Letha than hunting for the Vargulf." Matt states.
Norman nods, "Right. Supposing you just sum up for me what you've actually learned about this..." He trails off.
"Vargulf." Matt says.
"There isn't much, but we have time before the next full moon. In the meanwhile, we keep that one away from the torches and the pitchforks." Roman states.
"Is that the idea?" Norman asks.
"And to keep the Vargulf away from Celena." Matt adds.
"You think it's gonna go after Celena next? Why?" Norman asks.
"We've been having dreams lately.  Celena, Peter, and I have been having the same dreams over and over again.  About a full blue moon that shines on top of a pyramid with an Angel and a wolf at the bottom.  We don't know what it means.  But what we do know is that Celena represents the moon and Peter is the wolf.  Celena found that that the Vargulf is looking for 'the moon'.  A woman.  Which explains why it's been going after girls.  It knows the moon is a woman, but does not know that Celena is the moon."
Norman frowns as he begins to hear Francis' voice echo in his mind, "She must shine like the moon..." Flashbacks of Francis' room that was covered with the Ouroboros and triangles. So, it was a pyramid, not a triangle.
"Are you certain that Celena is this...'moon'?  It could be anyone.  What about Letha?" He asks.
"I'm gonna keep watch just in case when the next full moon happens.  We don't know what's gonna happen next.  We just need to keep Peter safe till then." Matt states.
"Is this you deciding whether you should have us all committed?" Roman asks sarcastically.
"Actually I was just thinking that fatherhood is fucking overrated, and that your friend is gonna need some blankets." Norman smirks and, together, they walk up towards the Hospital part of the building.  "Oh, by the way, have you spoken to your mother recently?" Norman asks.
"Why?" Roman frowns.
"No reason. Does your mom know you're OK?" Norman asks.
"She doesn't give a shit." Roman scoffs and heads inside the building.
While Norman and Matt was getting food for Peter, Roman headed towards the lien closets in a empty hallway to get blankets and pillow.   But when he shuts the door, he jumps when he sees Christina standing at the end of the hallway.  Staring at him.
"Sorry. I didn't know you were here." He mutters.
Christina said nothing, just continues to stare at him with a blank, emotionless face.  He walks up to her and frowns.  He waves his hand over her face, "Hello? Anyone home?" He snaps his fingers in front of her, not even a twitch.  He scoffs and turns to leave, but stops when he hears a voice.  Her voice.
"She's not safe."
"What?" He asks.
"She and the baby aren't safe." A smirk grows on Christina's face, "You think the monster doesn't want her too?  He wants the moon.  He craves for her."
Roman's heart jumps at that, but how can she...maybe Francis Pullman told her.  Not surprised since he was on repeat day by day.  Everyone probably...
Roman suddenly had a thought but needed to take care of Christina first, "I don't know anything about that." He mutters and turns when he sees a orderly walk by, "Wait here." He tells her then walks to get the orderly's attention, "Hey! Hey, you better get some meds over here!" He shouts, but when he turns back to Christina, she was gone.  He frowns in confusion.  Where did she go?  He had to go to Peter and Celena.
Peter and Celena sat next to each other in the Chapel with Letha.
"You gonna be ok being here alone?" Letha asks.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." Peter nods.
Celena snuggles in his arms and intertwines her fingers with his, "I want to stay here tonight. With you." She says.
Peter shakes his head, "I don't think so.  I want you to be safe. Remember the Vargulf is looking for you.  We have until the next full moon to hunt again.  I don't want a repeat of today happen to you if we run into a local together."
"I can handle a dumbass, not two." She scoffs.
Peter moves his hand to tickle her for calling him a dumbass.  She shrieks and giggles.
Peter looks down at her and sees something around her neck, it was the Ouroboros ring.
"It's the ring you gave me.  Don't wanna lose it." She says as she twirls it in her fingers.
"Thought you didn't like it." He frowns in confusion.
"I was scared cause we kept seeing the sign of it everywhere.  But it's something you gave me.  I want to cherish that forever." She says as she looks up into his eyes.
He gives her a crooked grin and kisses her softly.
Celena sighs as the kiss breaks and leans her head on his chin, "Still can't believe what happened to the Sworns." She says as she looks over to Letha.
Letha sighs and frowns, "They were in their beds.  That's what I heard. Whatever it was, got in without being seen to do that to them. It's no wild animal. What kind of person has it in them to do that?"
"I think that we all have it in us but some worse than others." Peter sighs.
"I don't want anything to happen to you." Celena mutters and tightens her hold on him.
Peter sighs and reaches to cup her face in his hands, making her look at him, "Come here. I love you." He whispers.
Celena gasps softly at those words and feels him press his lips against hers.  She reaches up and digs her fingers into his hair as she kisses him with all the love she had for him as much as he did.
"Whoa! In a church?" Letha giggles, making them break the kiss.
Celena giggles and jumps when Roman, Matt, and Norman walk back in with food and blankets and pillows.
Norman places a tray of food on a table nearby and Matt and Roman drops the pillows and blankets on Peter's lap.
"Hospitals have a lousy reputation for food, and this won't change anything. But it should keep you going until morning." Norman says with a sigh.
"I'll be fine." Peter nods.
"Maybe I'll bring something for you from home. So you won't starve." Celena smirks.
Peter smiles and kisses her forehead, "Nah, you stay home.  I'll see you in the morning.  Ok?"
"I'm going home to check on Shelley. We start over tomorrow, right?" Roman asks, thinking he should wait to tell them what he discovered tomorrow.
Peter nods as Celena gets up, "Mm-hmm." He says.
"We should go.  I'll give you a lift home." Roman says to Celena.
Celena nods and turns back to Peter to give him one last kiss, "I love you, too." She whispers against his lips and slowly lets him go to walk out with Roman.  Roman wraps an arm around Celena and pulls her close.
Matt helped Letha stand up and holds her close as they begin to leave with Norman.
"If you want, you can stay at our place for a while." Norman offers.  "But you stay in the living room.  And, you, stay in your own room." He warns as he points at them both.
While everyone left, Peter picks up the food and sniffs it. He grunts in displeasure, but it'll have to do.  He was starting to regret turning down food from Celena.  He places it next to the tub and he slides into it and sighs as he looks around.
He lets out a shout, listening to his echo, "This ain't so bad. Casper?" He looks around and finds Casper eating his food, "Casper! Hey, there you are. Hey, that's mine." He scorns and laughs.
After dropping Celena off, Roman walks back into his home, into the kitchen.  Seeing a raw, half cooked, steak on the floor.  He sighs and rubs his face.  What a shitty day.
"They were afraid of Peter."
Roman turns and sees his sister, standing there in distraught, "Who was?"
"Cook, maid. Everyone left."
"I'll always be here for you." Roman says as he stands near Shelley, giving her arm a comfortable rub.
"Promise?"
"Super pinkie swear." Roman says and lifts his pinky to touch hers since she couldn't wrap it around his.
Shelley and Roman share a small laugh.
"Celena said you dreamed about me."
Roman nods, "I did. The whole time I was out." He wondered how long and how many times Celena visited him while he was out.
"Tell me about it."
Roman smiles at her, "You were exactly like you've always been...more beautiful than this world deserves."
Shelley smiles as tears begin to form in her eyes, Roman pulls her into her arms, "Come here. What's wrong, Shel? What's wrong?"
Shelley types after she pulls away, "I know.  Celena showed me how you made me in there." She points at his head.  "I can't believe you see me like that.  I wish so badly I did look like that."
Roman sighs, his heart broke for his sister.  He wanted her to be like that because that is what she wants more than anything. To be normal.  To be beautiful.
"Where's mom?" He asks.
"Don't know. I'm afraid."
He sighs, "How's Vik?" He asks.
"He's ok.  His hand stopped bleeding not too long after you left.  That bullet was meant for me...and he protected me."
He nods, "Yeah.  He did.  And I'm grateful for him to be there for you before I could.  Still can't believe he stopped that bullet." He chuckles in disbelief.
"I know.  It was like something out of a superhero movie.
Roman smirks, "Yeah.  He's a hero.  How about we clean this up, huh?" He says and moves to get some supplies to clean the kitchen with Shelley.
Thunder begins to rumble as storm clouds cover Hemlock Grove.  It became a cold, unsettling night for all. As if everyone could sense a great evil taking over the night.
Norman decides to check on Christina before he got off for the night, but, he wasn't expecting to walk into a room of Horror.
"Nurse! Nurse! Nurse! I came to check on her. She's gone. Where the hell is she? Where the hell is she?! Where the hell is Christina Wendell?!" He shouts as he looks around the room.
The windows were wide open, making the curtains dance with the stormy air.
Norman couldn't stop gasping at the sight.  Written all over the walls was the Ouroboros and words repeated over and over.
'She is the moon.'
