Chapter 21: Stories

(Smut alert! No one under 18 should read beyond this point! Thank you!)

Heavy breathing and grunting fills the Rumancek trailer.  Bedsprings squeaking at every movement in Peter's room.  Celena moans as she lifts up, straddling Peter and rides him so good.  Peter pants and throws his head back against his pillow while letting out a loud moan.

"Oh, fuck.  Ohhh!" Peter groans out.

Panting, Celena continues to ride him over and over, his fingers digging into her hips as he controls her movements as he thrusts up.  She moans when his movements begin to pick up.

Peter shudders as her nails run through his chest hair.  It was so erotic to be petted during sex.  His eyes almost rolled back.

Celena gasps, "Oh! Wait, I wanna try something." She pants out and gets off him to get on her back and pull him on top of her.  She throws one leg up high and Peter spreads them wider and thrusts back inside her.

Celena cries out and feels Peter's arm goes under her back leg to hold it up for her.  The angle helped him go so deep inside her, and even made her feel a little more tight.  Peter grunts and moans as thrusts faster and harder.  He slams his lips against her, kissing her deeply and swallowing her moans.

He breaks the kiss as his body begins to shudder, "Oh, god, I'm coming!" Peter groans out and grunts loudly.

Celena moans and holds on to him as they begin to ride out their orgasm.  She grips his hair as he buries his face in her neck, biting down on her flesh as he fills her up.

Peter sighs and pants as he rolls off her, sliding out of her gently as he leaves a wet trail.  He struggles to control his breathing and wipes off the sweat that coated his face.

"God, every time.  Every time it's always so fucking amazing with you." He pants and laughs.

Celena giggles and turns on her side, "Hope it'll never stop." She smirks.

Peter sighs and turns to look at her, "Doubt it." He smiles and turns to pull her into his arms.  Together, they just snuggle under the sheets.  Her head against his chest and his fingers running through her hair.  It almost made her pass out.  It felt so good.

"You feel better?" He asks.

Celena sighs, breathing him in, "I guess all this stress with what happened, it's getting to me."

"You said the powers are connected to your emotions, right?" He asks, stroking her back.

"Yeah.  But never before has it been like this.  But...again, never have I ever cared for anyone as much as I care for you and Roman.  Witnessing his...incident.  It scared me to death.  The fear and worry is...I guess, opening my mind to other's.  I've been hearing everything they have been saying.  About Roman." She looks up at him as he stares at the ceiling, but she knew she had his attention.  "And, even you."

He looks down at her, not really surprised that others were talking about him.  But the effect it had on her bothered him and, yet, he never had a woman outside his family to care so much about him.

"Try not to let it affect you so much.  If you hear them again, just think of moments like this." He brushes her hair away from her eyes.  "Or just come find me and we'll go parking." He smirks.

Celena rolls her eyes, but giggles, "You perv."  She sighs softly.  "You know, one of the doctors came by the check on Roman yesterday.  He said 'the longer a person stays in a coma, the less likely they're able to wake up." She lets out a shuddering breath as worry fill her heart.

Peter scoffs, "Pfff! Doctors." He waves it off.

"You really have a way with words." Celena says sarcastically. "Can you tell me a story about being a gypsy?" She ask.

"You realize I'm half Italian, right?" He scoffs.

Celena giggles, "I do. It's just no one cares." She teases and yelps when he tickles her till she squirming all over the mattress in fits of laughter.  "Uncle!" She gasps.

Peter kisses her, muffling her laughter and pulls her close against his chest again, "All right. One time Nicolai caught a fairy."

She frowns, "What do you mean a fairy?"

"I mean a fairy. What am I supposed to mean?" He scoffs out a laugh.

"OK, go on." Celena snuggles against his chest and plays with his hair. That almost made Peter forget what he was talking about.

"I was at his house one night. It was the summer, so it was just scorching hot. Must have been eight or nine. And he says, 'You wanna see something?' So he turns off all the lights, and he gave me this jar with a little light inside, And I go, 'Nic, that's just that's a lightning bug', and he goes, 'No, Peter look closer'." Peter says as he holds up his hands as if he was holding up a jar.

"Yeah?"

"And I held it up and I shit you not, there's this little person inside the jar, a little girl, no bigger than a thumbnail. And her wings are so beautiful like a dragonfly. And this little light..." He smiles at the memories till Celena interrupted him.

"What was she wearing?" She asks with curiosity

"What?" He scoffs, but continues his tale, "So I go to Nic like, 'Holy! Where did you find her?' And all he says is, 'She was just flying around the porch light with the moths'. She must have gotten lost. Yeah. You know, at first he tried to catch 'em with his hands, but I guess she stung him." Peter says.

Celena looks up at him with a frown, "Fairies sting?" She asks in disbelief.

"Oh! You have no idea. Fairies are meaner than fucking hornets!" He winces, thinking about how painful a fairy's sting.

Celena laughs, "Who knew?"

"Yeah."

"So what did you do with her?" She asks.

Peter shrugs and looks down at her, "We just kept her for a while."

"What did she eat?" She asks.

"Flies." Peter licks her nose.

She jumps at the wet feeling on her nose, "Ugh! Hahaha! Gross! Pretty fairies do not eat flies."  She refused to believe that.

"Just grabbed them out of the air and tore 'em apart. Mm!" He makes yummy noises.

She giggles and smacks his arm gently, "Stop it."

"Better than watching tarantulas go after crickets." He laughs and winces at smack.

"So what happened to her?" She asks.

Peter sighs as he thinks back when he was a child, holding up the jar with the fairy inside, "She died. One day it was just a tiny old lady in the bottom of the jar. At first, I thought she was just napping so I shook it. Definitely dead. No one can fucking live like that." He shakes his head, Celena could tell how bad he felt for the poor thing.

She places her hand over his heart and strokes his chest.  Peter gives her a gentle look and leans down to kiss her soft lips.  God, how he love her.

(Celena's outfit for the day^^^)

Days continue to go by and Roman still remains in his coma.  The doctors continue to be clueless with Roman's progress.  Celena continues to visit him daily, but mainly to avoid spilling everything to Peter.  Her sudden episodes seem to be getting better but they continue to happen.  She was afraid she might have to drop out of school to protect her secret.  Peter tries to help her and being with him helps.  What will happened if he found out about...her and Roman?

Shelley's footsteps pound softly as she walks out of the elevator.  She gives Celena a welcoming smile and types on her phone.

"Hi.  How come you skipped today?" She asks.

"Haven't really been feeling that well, Shelley.  Plus, doesn't feel right to leave Roman alone." Celena sighs softly.

"I understand.  He's constantly on my mind, too.  I worry if he's ever going to wake up." Shelley types with a worried look.

"I feel when he's ready, he will." Celena says.

"Has he been dreaming about anything lately?" Shelley asks.

Celena shakes her head, "He's been quiet for a few days.  Occasionally, I'll hear him say my name.  Or Peter's names.  Yours.  But that's it.  Wherever he is in his mind, it's farther than I can see or hear."

Shelley thinks and then types, "It might be the final battle of the demons.  Sometimes that battle has to be done alone."

Celena sighs and nods, agreeing with her theory.  She takes Roman's hand in hers and thinks about the time when Andrew was battling his own demons and lost.

"Did Viktor ever tell you about the others?  Who were like us?" Celena asks Shelley, but kept her focus on Roman's face.

"No." Shelley frowns.

"Steve Montgomery and Andrew Detmer.  Steve had a dream to be class president, maybe even be the next U.S. President.  He was very popular.  Not really the type I would hang with.  Not till that night when we were given these powers.  But Andrew...we were friends, even before then.  He was Matt's cousin.  His real cousin." Celena sighs.

"What happened to them?" Shelley asks, almost afraid of the answer.

Celena was quiet for a moment, she smacks her lips and sighs deeply, "Andrew...he, uh, was constantly abused by his dad.  He would hit him every chance he got.  It drove Andrew crazy with anger.  Our powers connect with our emotions.  Hence the episodes I've been having at school." Celena points out and Shelley nods, gesturing for her to go on. "One night, during a terrible thunderstorm, Andrew's dad started beating him again and Andrew took off.  We all heard him needing us.  These powers connected us with each other.  If one's in trouble, we suddenly get nosebleeds and begin to hear their names screaming in our heads.  I don't know what happened, but we later found out that Steve went to find Andrew.  He found him in the storm.  Hiding in the storm clouds." Celena points up.  "And...then we heard the news from Steve's mom.  Steve was struck to death by a bolt of lighting."

Shelley gasps and covers her mouth.

"Andrew killed him.  We know he did.  But we understand it was an accident.  He was so angry, he lost control.  In the end, his anger took over him.  Andrew's mom had lung cancer and they couldn't afford to buy her medicine.  Andrew tried to use his powers for evil.  He robbed people to get money for his mom's meds.  But he hurt and killed a lot of people for it.  Then he got caught in an explosion at a gas station.  He was severely burned and was convicted for armed robbery.  They kept him in the hospital for the time being.  I found out his dad came by and threatened him.  His mom passed away that same night.  It was the last straw for Andrew." Celena looks over to Shelley.  "He's responsible for the incident at Seattle, Washington two years ago." She watches Shelley's eyes widen. "Yeah, I figured you heard about that.  He killed a lot of people that night, Shelley.  He was beyond help.  He nearly killed us.  He nearly killed Viktor."

Shelley gives her an angry look, while the lights begin to buzz around her.

"Andrew died that night.  Matt stopped him.  He had no choice." Celena sighs.

"That must have been so hard for him." Shelley gives her a sad look.

Celena nods, "Yeah.  He still blames himself to this day for what happened to Andrew.  He thinks if we were there more Andrew, it never would have happened."

"What happened, happened.  It was no one's fault." Shelley says.

Celena nods, "Yeah." She sighs deeply, "Ok, enough with the heavy.  Wanna hear about what we did when we first discovered we had powers?" She asks.

Shelley nods.

"Ok, it wasn't till 2 weeks after that night in the cave.  I know Viktor told you about that.  Andrew said we should document everything.  So we started doing video tests of our powers.  First test was the baseball test.  We took turns throwing baseballs at each other." She laughs, thinking about when Matt and Steve were throwing balls at each other.

"Matt mainly treated it like one big Jackass experience.  Hurting each other than actually studying how to control our powers.  Andrew was the only one who could get the hang of it.  He became our teacher.  Viktor learned that his powers connect with his strength that day.  He crushed the ball in his hand.  I blew it up." Celena laughs.

Shelley laughs and frowns.

"I swear I was coughing up power from the baseball for days.  Andrew managed to catch it on the first try.  It was amazing feeling and it was fun."

"Do you ever regret gaining these powers?" Shelly types with a curious look.

Celena sighs, "Sometimes I wish we never went to that party. But, if we didn't, we probably never would be the best friends we are today."  She smiles at Shelley. "I guess they were right. Everything has a price."

At the Godfrey's resident, Norman walks into his house and heads for the kitchen.  He frowns when he's greeted by the sight of his wife, furiously scrubbed the counter.  Anger reeked from her pores.  It wasn't any different than every day when he comes home to an angry home.  When he thinks about it, his home hasn't been happy since Marie was pregnant with Letha.  Then as Letha got older, it became a bitter home again.

"I think you got it." He says as he fixes himself a glass of water.

Marie slaps the rag in her hand against the counter and gives him a look that could freeze hell on Earth, "Letha is fucking Matt Ryan." She says in a angry tone."

"What?! She told you this?" He frowns at her.

Marie scoffs, "Of course not. She doesn't tell me anything." She exclaims.

"Well, then how do you know?" He asks, assuming the answer already.

"Her phone, text messages."

Norman gives her a disproved look, "Marie, you had no right. I mean, that's an invasion of her privacy."

She gives him look as if he was an idiot to her eyes, "Our daughter claims she has been impregnated by an angel. An angel, Norman! Now, she's sleeping with a boy that's friends with Rumancek, who half the people in Hemlock Grove think is a serial killer.  A boy who is 'friends' with a killer, Norman.  He might as well be a killer himself!"

"Uh, well they don't just think he's a serial killer, Marie, they think he's a werewolf, and that is insane.  Do you know that one of my patients originated that rumor? It's character assassination by a traumatized 14-year-old girl." He scoffs.

"I need you to be her father, not her friend." She frowns at him.

Norman sighs and takes a sip of water, "OK. I'll talk to her."

Soon, they hear the door open and shut and the happy voice of their daughter calling out from the living room, "Hey, guys, I'm home."

Norman sighs and walks towards the living room, meeting Letha as she sits down and begins on her homework.

"Hey." She smiles at him and goes back to work.

Norman moves to kiss his daughter 'hello' and moves to sit on the couch to face her, "Hey. Um your mom your mom got ahold of your cell phone. We know about Matt." He says, catching her horrified look, then it turns to disappointment.

"Dad..." Norman cuts her off with an understanding look.

"She had no right. Was it, um was it your first time in a manner of speaking?" Norman stutters.

Letha couldn't help, but blush at that question, "Yeah."

"It's not a bad thing. I mean, don't ever let anyone put in your head that sex is, is a bad thing. Is this as awkward for you as it is for me?"

Letha laughs, "Yeah!"

They share a laugh and Norman sighs, gesturing her to sit next to him, patting the cushion next to him, "Ha! Sit. But lying, lying to me, to us, hiding things, that's a problem. We're a family. We don't keep secrets - from each other."

"I'm in love with him." She sighs.  "I know it's a bad look for him to be friends with Peter.  But Peter is not what others paint him to be.  Matt is a great guy, Dad.  I know you only hate him because of what happened to me.  But he never made a move on me.  Not once.  He takes care of me and the baby.  He's there for me when I need someone." She plays with her nails, then looks up back at her father, "Before he came to Hemlock Grove, he went to Tibet to help people there for a few months.  Like a sabbatical, I guess.  He dreams of become a doctor.  He's smart, funny.  If you just give him a chance, he can prove to you that he's not as bad as you think he is.  You know how people are around here with judgements .  I mean, what do you think people say about us?  About Shelley?"

Norman sighs as he takes in his daughters words.  But he can't help be cautious.  Letha could be right, he's expressing his anger and disproval towards a boy he never really officially met or bonded with.  He feels Letha takes his hand into her with a begging look.

"Do you trust me?" She asks.

Norman thinks about that question, "I do, just not him." He answers honestly.

"That's because you don't know him." Letha laughs softly.

Norman sighs, "Ok, I'll give him a chance, but..." He holds up a finger before she could be happy.  "We need to meet him.  Again.  We'll have dinner and grill him." He laughs.

Letha rolls her eyes, "Dad, don't embarrass me."

"Invite Celena, too.  I see her a lot over at Roman's.  Poor girl." Norman says, feeling sorry for Celena. "To witness something like that.  But she's a strong one.  You can see it in her eyes."

Letha smiles softly, "Yeah.  I'll ask her.  But she might invite Peter as well.  If that's ok."

Norman frowns in confusion, "I thought Celena and Roman were...?"

"It's...complicated.  You know...love triangle." Letha says.

"Ah, yeah, been through those before.  Never fun." Norman nods, "That might be a good idea as well.  We don't know anything about him other than what people say about him.   Might give us a better picture."

Celena walked around outside on the property grounds.  Shelley gained a visitor, Jenny, and Celena did not want to be around her.  Her mind was filled of nothing but Roman and what they had in the past.  It pissed Celena off so much.  She turns and leans on the concrete rails, staring off into the distance as she thinks about what she was feeling right now.

"Your soul is as bright as the moon."

"The Moon, the Wolf, the Angel."

"Ouroboros."

"Project Ouroboros."

"We're in this together."

"We share the same dreams."

Celena moves away from the rail and made the decision to go see Destiny.  There has to be a reason why her powers are out of whack.  It can't be just stress.  She runs towards the woods and takes flight.

When she lands on the roof, she walks towards the fire escape and gasps as she skids to a halt, when she watches Chasseur storms out of Destiny's place.  Looking flushed as she finished buttoning up her shirt and takes off towards her car.  Celena quietly goes down the fire escape and heads towards Destiny's door.  She gets inside before Chasseur discovers her and watches her storm off.

"Hey, didn't hear you come in." Destiny says as she walks out of her 'work' area and greets her with a smile.

"Flaunting with the enemy, Judas?" Celena scoffs.

"Just business.  Plus, trying to get more information about what she wants.  She's just a poor soul who has lost her way.  And a drunk." Destiny snorts and walks into the kitchen. "So, how's Roman doing?"

"Same as always. But, Des, I need help.  It's my powers.  Um...I'm losing control.  I can hear what people are thinking more than usual.  And what I hear pisses me off.  It sets me off till I accidently hurt them."

Destiny pours some tea, "Yeah, Peter told me about what happened in school.  I heard the police said something about cherry bombs but, they haven't found any evidence of it." She puts some sugar into the tea for both cups and stirs them.

"I don't want to hurt anyone.  I need to know why my powers are acting like this.  Can you...do a reading?" Celena asks.  "Please?"

Destiny thinks, "If you think it'll help you.  Come on." Destiny nods and guides her to her table while grabbing some tarot cards.  "Cards aren't normally my thing, but might can give you a point of view.  Remember, the answers you're seeking, the cards might not give you all or might give you what you don't want to hear." She places the cards in the middle of the table.  "Cut them.  Clear your mind of everything except what you're feeling right now."

Celena takes a deep breath and takes the cards in her hands.  Shuffling them in her hands with a shaking exhale as she keeps her mind clear, but Peter and Roman would pop inside her head against her will.  She places the cards back into the center and watches Destiny shuffle them herself and cuts them into 9 folds.

"Ok, the first three cards will represent you, Peter, and Roman.  Don't be surprised, I know they're invading your mind.  That's a sign for your troubles.  They're the reason why your powers are unbalanced." Destiny says.

She flips the first card, "This represents you." She drew the Moon card.

Celena rolls her eyes, but Destiny waves her off, "The moon means a woman of mystery.  That's something no man can resist." She smirks to get Celena to laugh out a scoff.

"This one is Peter." She flips the card.  The Wolf.  Now Destiny had to laugh.  "Of course, the guardian and protector of the Moon."

Celena takes in that information. So Peter was her guardian?  What was Roman?

"Now, Roman." She draws the card.  "The Devil.  It not really a bad thing.  This card represents an Angel in Disguise.  The one who bonds all three subjects together.  He's the rock for you and Peter."

Celena sighs, "So, he's the one with the dark wings.  From our dreams." She scoffs, "It wasn't an angel, it was a man.  Honestly, I'm not surprised.  I always assumed."

"Now these three represent the Past, Present, and the Future for all three of you.  The Past." She flips the card.

"The tower.  This card stands for Pain and destruction followed by all three.  You, Roman, and Peter all experienced pain and suffering in your pasts.  It's one thing you have in common together."

Destiny flips the Present card, "The High Priestess.  This stands of a powerful woman." She smirks at Celena.  "Both male subjects continue a long fight over her, but it's a useless fight."

Celena frowns, "Why?"

"Because she is theirs as much as they are hers.  Hence the bond." Destiny begins to fall deep into her thoughts.  She flips the Future card, "The World.  This represents accomplishment.  An achievement is about to happen to all three subjects and the achievements represents themselves."

"Now, the last three shall be what you need to do, what you fear, and what the outcome of all will be.  You ready?" Destiny

Celena shudders, but nods, "Hit me."

Destiny flips the Action card, "Wheel of Fortune.  This stands for destiny." She laughs.  "You must accept your destiny."

"But what is my destiny?"

"I don't know, Sweetie.  It's not up to me to tell you.  It's fate."  Destiny sighs and flips the fear card.

"Death." Celena shudders.

"You're afraid of loss.  To lose the ones you love.  Peter and Roman.  That's why your powers are unbalanced.  With Roman in his coma, you are unbalanced until he awakens."

Destiny flips the last card and Celena couldn't help but blush, "The lovers."

"The bond between the three of you will finally become whole."

"When?" Celena asks.

Destiny shakes her head, "I don't know.  Time will tell."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Celena walks into the hallways, brushing past several students.  It was starting to get easier for her to get through some days.  Today seems like a good day.  She walks up to Peter with a smile.  He was surprised to see her back in school and welcomes her with arms wide open and a kiss on top her head.
"You ok?" He whispers.
Celena smiles and nods, "Yeah.  I'm good." After the reading from Destiny, it helped her gain some of her control back.  Now that she knows why her powers are messed up, she will try her best to get them back under control and once Roman wakes up, things will get better.
Letha walks up to them with a confused look and Matt wasn't too far behind her.  Celena noticed that she was holding a handmade get well card.
"What's that?" Celena asks.
Matt looks at Letha and back to another girl, Celena looks over and sees Ashley walking away.  She remembers her from the Halloween Dance.  And how she was all over Roman.
"What was that about?" Matt asks.
Letha scoffs out a laugh, "Evidently, Ashley Valentine does have a soul. So, I wanted to ask you something.  You and Celena. I want you to come to dinner at my house."
"Say what?" Celena looks at her in disbelief.
"My dad wants to give Matt a second chance and get to know him better.  And he wants you and Peter to come as well.  Give you a day off from Roman-watching." Letha rubs her arm in comfort.
Celena sighs, "I don't know."
"Come on, Cell.  One day won't hurt." Matt says, then looks over to Letha in worry, "It won't right?"
Letha giggles, "Might be a little painful for you." She smirks.
Celena laughs, "Well, ok.  I guess I could go.  Glad I won't be alone." She places her head on Peter's shoulder.  Peter smiles and walks with her towards her classes.  She hopes and prays the dinner won't be too much of a disaster.  Mainly for Matt.
