even on the way to meet up with them in one of the company cars, she still continued to try to encourage me. the only reason why i had really agreed to go out with them was because jin had already invited jungkook, and sofia said he needed a date.

"you guys have loads in common." she started, now trying to think up what we supposedly had in common. "you're both the maknaes, you're both vocalists, and you're both single."

"yeah." i muttered unenthusiastically under my breath. "meant to be."

in truth, it wasn't so much the date with him that i dreaded, but the hate that would come of it. fans were very protective of their idols, and bts fans were especially protective of jungkook.
