we went to pizza parlor restaurant that had an arcade, and a bar. the four of us sat together at a booth while we waited for the waitress to bring our food and drinks after we ordered them.

sofia had forced me to sit close to jungkook.

he coughed awkwardly by my side. his greeting was low and nervous. "hey."

"hello." i said through a voice that was barely audible. i quickly cleared my throat and repeated my greeting. "h-hello."

"i'm jungkook." he introduced himself.

all the while, sofia and jin were busy making easy conversation with each other to catch onto the awkwardness between jungkook and i. i nodded and replied with a greeting of my own. "i'm gianna."

so the name gianna in italian is pronounced differently. i thought it was pronounced gee-anna (like anna of frozen). but really its pronounced like "jana" like j + spanish ana. and since the main character in this story is italian and korean, that is how she pronounces her name.
