Chapter 7

Tim grumbles to himself as he comes down the stairs. His mind was so preoccupied on how to get back at Adam that he wasn't paying attention to the steps.

His heel slips off the next to the last step causing him to fall. Tim screams out as he falls, not knowing for sure where he was on the steps and how far he would fall.

Chris, who was walking by the stairs at the time, catches him in his arms but both tumble to the floor.

The commotion brings everyone from the kitchen.

"Tim, are you alright?" Chris asks the blind man that was laying on top of him.

"Guys, what happened." Rob asks.

"Tim just fell on the steps." Chris says.

Tim groans slightly and rubs his knee as he tries to sit up.

"Tim, are you hurt?" Adam asks as he squats down in front of the two men.

"No, I think I'm fine." Tim says, shaking his head. "Thanks to Chris. Are you okay?"

Tim reaches out, his hand finding Chris's bicep.

"I'm fine. I'm just glad I was here to break your fall." Chris chuckles.

"Me too." Tim smiles.

Adam's blue eyes were seeing a bit of green. Tim's hand was resting on Chris's arm just a little too long for his liking.

"Well, are yall going to come eat or sit on the floor smiling at each other." Adam huffs as he stands up and quickly heads to the kitchen.

"What's got into him?" Chris asks.

"Sounds like a bit jealous to me." Rob says quietly and chuckles.

Tim couldn't help but smile as he gets up from the floor. 'Jealous?'

He walks into the kitchen and sits down beside Adam.

"Tim, Eggs are at twelve, biscuits at two, gravy at eleven and bacon on the other side of Adam." Rob says.

"Thanks, Rob." Tim smiles as he reaches for the eggs.

"What was that?" Chris asks.

"Just telling him where everything is located." Rob says as he shoves a fork full of eggs in his mouth.

"Adam, can you pass me the bacon?" Tim asks.

"Maybe you'd like to ask Chris?" Adam mumbles as he sips his coffee.

"While would I want to do that? Chris is sitting to my right and the bacon is to my left, it would be senseless to ask him to pass me the bacon." Tim says with a slight smirk.

"Here." Adam snaps as he hands Tim the plate.

"Thank-you, you're so kind." Tim says, sarcastically, with a smile.

Adam notices Tim reaching down a few times rubbing his knee.

"Are you sure that you're okay?" Adam leans over and whispers. Not wanting to interrupt the others' conversations.

"Yeah, why?" Tim asks softly over his cup of coffee.

"You keep rubbing your knee." Adam states.

"It's alright. I think I might have hit it on the floor when I fell." Tim answers.

"Do you want me to look at it?" Adam asks.

"No." Tim says, shaking his head. "I'd have to take my pants off and you might not be able to control yourself." Tim smiles as he takes a bite of bacon.

"Oh, you think?" Adam chuckles.

"Mhmm." Tim nods. "But if you're willing to help, I could use some help putting my eye drops in. I tend to miss my eyes when I do it."

"Sure, no problem." Adam smiles.

After breakfast, they all worked on cleaning the kitchen before going on with their day.

"You missed a spot." Adam chuckles as he whispers in Tim's ear as Tim was wiping the table.

"Asshole." Tim mumbles under his breath.

The kitchen was clean so everyone gathers in the living room to watch tv. Tim slips quietly up the stairs to his room.

"Where did Tim go?" Adam asks as he notices the blind man missing.

"I think I saw him heading upstairs." Austin answers. "He spends a lot of time in his room. Reading, mostly."

"Oh, okay. He asks me to put some drops in his eyes. That's why I was asking." Adam says.

"Hmm, normally he would ask one of us." Rob says with a smirk. Adam rolls his eyes and the insinuations.

"I'll just go find him." Adam says, turning quickly on his heels and heading upstairs. After getting to the top of the stairs, he tips toe quietly so that Tim wouldn't hear him.

Once reaching Tim's bedroom door he peeks in. Tim was sitting on the side of his bed. His pants were down around his ankles as he runs his hand lightly over a large scrape on his knee.

"I thought you said you weren't hurt." Adam says suddenly causing Tim to jump.

"Uh, I was ... I was just checking." Tim says quietly, reaching for his pants.

"Let me see that." Adam says walking into the room and squatting down in front of Tim.

"No, it's fine." Tim says, shaking his head.

"Timothy! That's a bad scrape, I need to put something on it." Adam says sternly.

"It's stinging." Tim says.

"Well, I would imagine." Adam says. "I'll be right back."

He heads back downstairs to the living room.

"Hey, guys? Where do you keep the antiseptic and bandages or some very large band-aids?" Adam asks.

"There in the medicine cabinet in the first-floor bathroom." Chance signs.

"Now, Chance, you know I have no idea what you're saying." Adam chuckles, shaking his head.

"He said they're in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom down here. Something wrong?" Austin asks.

"Tim scraped his knee pretty bad when he fell this morning." Adam answers.

"But I thought he said he wasn't hurt." Chris says.

"He lied." Adam chuckles as he heads to the bathroom for the medical supplies.

~~

"Now this might sting a bit." Adam warns Tim before spraying some antiseptic on the scrape.

"HOLY SH*T! A BIT??!" Tim yells. "Feels like you just stuck a match to my knee."

"Be still, it's killing the germs." Adam chuckles. He opens an extra large band-aid and places it over the scrape. "Now, where's your eye drops?"

"In my bathroom, in the left-hand corner of the medicine cabinet." Tim answers.

Adam comes out of the bathroom to see Tim pulling up his pants.

"You didn't have to do that you know. I was enjoying the view." Adam smiles.

"Sorry, but I don't expose myself to just anyone." Tim smirks as he fastens his pants.

"We'll see." Adam says under his breath.

"What did you say?" Tim asks. Even though he clearly heard the blond.

"I said lie down." Adam says with a smile.

Tim lays back on the bed, staring towards the ceiling.

"Do these drops burn your eye?" Adam asks as he lays down beside Tim but hovers over him.

"A little. But I have to do it a couple times to keep my eyes from drying out." Tim answers.

"You have really beautiful eyes." Adam smiles as he stares down at Tim's brown eyes.

"Thank you." Tim smiles. "So do you."

"How many drops?" Adam asks as he removes the top of the eye-drops.

"Two in each eye." Tim answers. "But give me a second between each drop."

"Okay." Adam nods.

After each drop, Tim would close his eyes until the burning eased.

"Finished." Adam says as he put the last drop in. He put the cap back on the medicine and set it on the dresser.

Adam turns and stares at Tim lying relaxed with his eyes closed. Before he knew it, he leaned down and kisses Tim softly.

Tim's eyes open wide and he catches his breath. Adam giggled into the kiss, then deepens the kiss. He bites gently on Tim's bottom lip.

Tim wraps his arms around the blond but breaks the kiss.

"You're spoiling my plan at getting even for this morning." Tim smiles.

"And you're spoiling my being angry at you for flirting with Chris." Adam says softly as he lays down on Tim's chest.

"When was I flirting with ..." Tim was interrupted by Adam's lips once again on his.

"Doesn't matter." Adam whispers into the kiss.

The kiss turns passionate as Adam slides a hand under Tim's shirt.

"Adam.." Tim says breaking the kiss to catch his breath. "Please don't tease me and then walk away." He whispers in a weak voice.

"I'm not teasing anymore, Timmy." Adam breaths close to Tim's face. "I want you."
