Be Patient

Everyone gets anxious when they are determined or passionate about something. It is essential that we wait.

Why should one be patient?

Being patient about one's work during their writing process is really important. You can just be starting out on your writing journey and can't wait to get to the standards of where other writers are.

You're probably like "I wanna just get there alreadyyy"

But succeeding doesn't happen overnight. You have to keep working until you are at you ultimate limit. Therefore, you can't create a book today and expect it to have 1million reads, it takes time.

What are the benefits of patience?

• Patience brings you peace during your writing process. You won't be as anxious or angry whenever you see the amount of reads or votes.

• Patience (to me) helps you to write better with the expectation of knowing that your getting better at writing and that people are yet to see your work.

• Patience gives you time to reflect on your work. For example, you could have just published a work and your waiting for votes and reads, in this time, you have time to reflect on that chapter. Asks questions like "how does this chapter make people want to read it?" or "what can I do to improve this story?"

How does one have patience?

This is easy but, can sometimes be hard. Just write, publish, and be patient, remember it's all in the process.

Remember that you don't have to be a good writer overnight. It takes time, with some practice and patience, your writing journey will be a thousand times better
