"Where is she?" John asked Rick once he had found out where he lived. He clutched onto Rick's shirt, pinning him against the wall.

After John had gotten back from promoting his demo at Dick Clark's, he decided to call Kayla.

But when he tried to phone her up, the line was disconnected.

"Yer lying," John growled. "Just tell me where she is."

"Sir, I really don't know!" Rick was getting tired of the accusations.

"Ye better 'ope I find her."

With a toss to the floor, John abandoned the drug house and went out into the sketchy streets of New York City.

He was determined to find his woman.
