i just dont like adopts?? idk it just doesnt click with me

buying some randomized color scheme/cookie cutter character from someone else doesnt work for me. i couldn't even get attached to the character if i didnt personally create them

plus, i use my characters for writing, so all these freaking extra-lookin cats with aesthetic bodies and four thousand accessories and emo hair just isnt practical for any professional work at all.

and people sell pretty bland designs for MONEY??? like,,,a person i follow made a big deal about """emergency commissions""". turns out they needed 50$ to buy a hecking furry oc????? n o

i dont think ive ever actually seen anyone really use adoptable designs, tbh?? like they draw them once and u never see anything else out of the character??

it's kinda weird when ppl release an adoptable sheet that's literally all the same base and the only difference is obnoxious color schemes. i could make these characters for myself for free and no contest
