villains HAVE TO BE HUMANIZED. they dont all have to be uwu tragic bbys that get redeemed (i barely have any of those in nfh), but crap, they cant be flat cartoon, card carrying villains that scream "raw! im evil! i hate puppies!"

heck, i even gave life some characterization in nfh. hes a horrible monster,,,but still a character.

also- the conflict thing. conflict is nasty, conflict causes problems. and that's good. let your characters make horrible mistakes and drive the plot forward. that's not abuse.
