having a s/o who polices your friendships and who you hang out with is a red flag.

"dont hang out with him" "if you keep being friends with him im breaking up with you" leave them, now.

even the ever-famous "DONT BE FRIENDS/HANG OUT WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX" and "dont hang out with my/your ex!" is an example of this. no one has the right to tell you who you can spend your time with. keep that dominating rat away from you.

if a person threatens suicide or self harm if you leave them, they are abusive.

"if you break up with me ill cut myself!!" what a freaking disgusting waste of air. dont let anyone do this to you.

this person is the worst of the worst and you dont need to be within 1000 feet of them.

get yourself out of that relationship. dont let someone blackmail you into staying in a toxic relationship. dont give them that satisfaction.
