Sky High (Complete)
So this will most likely be the first chapter of this story. or at least part of it. I really wanted to give you guys something. but I haven't had time to really sit down and write. So here it goes. Enjoy.
It was just any other day for me, patrolling the sky's, when I saw it. It was a military Jet, but unmarked. A VTOL exactly like the one I was flying now. So of course, I had to follow it. It was fast, dark blue and the cockpit was gold. I could barely keep up with it. Whoever was piloting it was very good. I was still a rookie, so for me to keep up was a challenge. He flew with elegance. Absolutely breath taking. He was messing with me, doing beautiful tricks in the air and around me, but just like he came he was gone. I had no idea where he went or how he took off so fast. I pouted my lip a little, hoping I would catch a glance from him. I never did. "Lieutenant Jane, you haven't reported in yet. Everything okay?" I heard dispatch say over the radio. "Jane here, I'm good. Finishing up my rounds now." I radioed back. With that I turned my jet around and flew back towards base. I still kept an eye out for that jet.
Base was coming into view, it was time to land. Landing was not a specialty of mine, I'm still learning. So far since I've been at stationed here I've had four good, really good, landings. I have not crashed, I've never crashed, just had rocky landings. The guys with more experience tell me it will get easier. I believe them, I've wanted to be a pilot ever since I was little. My father and grandfather were both pilots in the Air Force. It was time for me to walk in their footsteps. Especially since I had no brothers and there was no way my sister was going to fly. She didn't even like heights. I start to begin my decent to the ground. The runway now in view. I let my body relax, shoulders shrugging slightly, hands holding loosely on the steering wheel. I let down the landing gear. I get closer to the ground and do a vertical landing. Landing smoothly on the pavement underneath. A much better landing than what I usually do. The air pressure in the cabin releases with a hiss and the cockpit opens up for me.
I climb out, my helmet under my arm, and jump off the wing to the ground. It was a pretty far jump, but I've been doing it since I can remember, it didn't bother me anymore. "Lieutenant, how was your flight?" Specialist Drake asked as I walked off the air field. He came up next to me and started to walk back with me. He was one of the soldiers I met when I first go here. We became fast friends. I'm pretty sure there was more than meets the eye, but officers and enlisted were forbidden to date. "Went really well. You'll never guess what I saw while on patrol." My voice went up an octave as I got more excited to tell my story. "I have no idea, what could you possible not see up in the air." He chuckled. "Ha ha. No, I saw unidentified jet. Just like ours. It was blue and gold. Absolutely amazing. The pilot could fly. I mean really fly. It was like he was the jet. I think I'm in love." I gave a drawn-out sigh. Drake just looked at me like I was crazy. "Only you would fall in love with a plane. But shouldn't we report it?" I gave him a pouty face. If I told someone about it, they might find the person and take their piloting license away. "Yeah, we probably should, but let me see if I see him again first. I really want to fly with him again." He rolled his eyes at me, making me giggle.
*third POV*
Unfortunately for the Lieutenant, someone was listening on her story. He was an Agent from the pentagon, sent there for a secret assignment. Though everyone at that base was chosen specifically to be there, none of them knew it yet and they wouldn't know about it if they didn't have to. He wore a gray suit and blue tie and was a little on the heavy side. He gave a silent gasp after hearing what the rookie had said and quickly went to his jet to make his way across the plains to a secret base that only he and his superiors knew about. Only he was the only one that went there. Quickly buckling up, he took off without another word.
He landed his jet on the mountain. The one that used to be an old missile silo, only now it was converted into a secret base. The agent made his way down the elevator. The doors open to a wide-open space underneath the mountain. He stood on a platform over look the area. To his right, working on a large-scale computer, was a giant orange and white robot. The robot only looked over for a second acknowledging the Agent. "Ratchet. Where's Prime?" The Agent bellowed. Before the orange and white robot called Ratchet could answer. "Right here, Agent Fowler. What do we owe the pleasure?" The deep baritone voice of the much larger red and blue robot came walked from an adjacent hallway, stopping in front of the platform. "We may have a problem." The man put his hands on his hips. "And that may be?" "One of my pilots, may have saw Dreadwing. I overheard her talking about it with one of the soldiers at my base. She described a blue and gold jet, seeming to fly so well its as if the pilot was the jet." The Prime looked away for moment in thought. "She didn't see him transform. I don't see why we need to be worried." "She hopes to see him again. What if he's battling Wheeljack again or he decides to try and shoot her down." He said worriedly. "I can have one of Autobots keep an eye on her when she flies, but I don't want to make our presents known unless we have to." Fowler gave him a nod and began walking back to the elevator. "I will let you know the next time she flies." Prime nodded in return and watched as the agent went back up the elevator.
After the Fowler left up the elevator, Prime looked over to Ratchet as Ratchet began to speak. "How are we going to watch over her if none of us are flyers?" The worried bot questioned. "She will have a patrol route she will have to follow. We will set Arcee and Bumblebee at different points to watch out." The large Prime explains. "What will Arcee and Bumblebee do?" Walking in on the conversation was a much smaller bot, blue and pink, showing feminine features, a bot a few feet taller than her, yellow and black, wearing his battle mask over his face, and a larger bulker army green bot. "We have just received word that one of the pilots that works under Agent Fowler, had contact with Dreadwing. No physical or talking contact. She was flying and happened to see him flying away from the battle between him and Wheeljack. She is hoping to see him again when she goes on patrol again. You and Bumblebee will be placed along her patrol route and will keep her in your sights, just in case Dreadwing does show up, you two will help if needed." He explained to the two bots who gave him a nod of confirmation.
*Janes POV*
I spent the night doing laundry and playing cards with the boys. Card games were every night thing, unless one of us had duty. Then you just played without that person. They have been doing this since before I even got here, and it was a fantastic way to wind down after a long day. Though tonight, my mind wasn't focused on the game. I couldn't stop it from wondering back to my flight today. The jet was flawless as far as I could tell. The deep royal blue was as beautiful as the ocean blue. The gold cockpit shined against the slowly setting sun. It was as if someone painted the scene in front of me. I was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. If I could paint it I would, but I can't paint for shit. The boys noticed me zoning out, how did I know, someone threw an empty beer can at me. "Hey!" I yelled, glaring at each one of them. They all busted out in laughter. "What!" I yelled again. Drake just shook his head at me. "Dreaming about that jet again." He chuckled. I pushed my bottom lip out in a pout, lowering my head before I answered. "Maybe". "You might want to wipe that drool off the corner of your mouth." One of the other guys, Detroit, joked. I brought my hand up to wipe my mouth, but there wasn't anything there to wipe. "Asshole." Chucking the empty beer can back at him.
Now just so you know, I know absolutely nothing about flying a jet. If you know anything, please let me know if I get something wrong or you have a way to help. I would be more than happy to hear it.
Please let me know what you think

Oh boy. So this story I really really want to get up. But I'm having some writer's block on it. I just don't know how I want it to go yet. As soon as I have something, you will all know. Thanks for being patient.
This one has recently been completed. Enjoy.
