Hello my lovelies~! Happy new year~! 2021 was a very hard for all of us. We all lost many things and people dear to us. We cried a lot and got stressed out a lot. But in the end we survived everything, we survived all the hardships and difficulties.

I'm positive that 2022 will be way better than the last one.

Finally, we reached Fish-man Island.

The whole crew were happy and excited, including me. I was trying my hardest to not fall unconscious.

The island was so freaking beautiful.

Before we can go to it, a voice called out to Surume: the giant Octopus who  helped us getting here, criticizingtting humans order him around.

Surume became scared, let go of the Sunny, and ran off. "Oi! Surume! Come back!!" Luffy called out to it. "It's no use Luffy..." I glared at the gang that surrounded the Thousand Sunny. They were much larger than the sea kings.

The scared trio backed away. Zoro grabbed his swords and sneered at the Fish-men.

Already knowing what will happen, I glanced at the owner of the voice. A daggertooth picked conger Fish-man named Hammond, a crew membe of the New Fish-man pirates.

"I know about the Straw Hat Pirates." Hammond said. "the ones who crushed Arlong's ambition..." He glared at all of us, then he smiled a bit in gratitude. "but also protected Hatchan and assaulted one of the World Nobles." He sighed. "We own you for protecting one of our kind. So I give you two choices..." Hammond made eye contact with Luffy. "Join The New Fish-man pirates or be sunk right now and here."

Zoro's look hardened and he went to attack them but I stopped him. "Zoro, we can't attack them. We're still tired from traveling." I looked at Robin and she nodded her head in understanding and she whispered something to Franky. Using her devil fruit ability, She created a giant leg and kicked as much as possible of Fish-men.

"Now Franky!" She yelled. "Everyone! Hold on something!" Franky yelled. I looked around and found only Zoro. So me being me... I hold on him tightly "Oi! Woman!" Zoro cheeks reddened a bit. "Sorry Zoro.." I blushed as well.

"I won't join you! I'm the man who will become the pirate king!" Luffy, without a care in the world rejected Hammond just as the preparations for the coup de Burst were set.

"Coup De Burst!" Franky activates it and the ship blasts of to Fish-Man Island. Few seconds later, We made it in, but the coating of the Sunny wears off, And we all got separated after the ship fell into a current.

Some time later, Luffy woke up, with Sanji, Chopper, and Usopp. The four strawhats found themselves laying in an unfamiliar room. "What happened...?" Usopp slowly hot up and looked around the room. "No Idea..." Sanji replied.

"You're awake!!!" A familiar voice yelled. The four of them looked at the room's door and saw Camie, the mermaid they saved two years ago standing in front of them smiling.

She explained what happened and how The strong sea currents took the rest of the Straw Hats somewhere else.

"Y-you mean Nami-chan, Robin-chan and (y/n)-swann are somewhere in Fish-man island?!?! They must be so scared and waiting for their Knight to rescue them!" Sanji cried. "My ladies need me!"

"You're lucky to be found by the mermaids." Camie continued. "I work at Mermaid Cafe with my friends. You can join us!" She told them. "We'll Search for the rest of your crew and I'll show you around."

"What are we waiting for?!?!!" Sanji activated his Tornade mode and ran around the room. "Mermaids~~!"

"Yosh! Let's go find our nakama!" Luffy raised his fist up. "Yeah!" Usopp, chopper and Camie nodded their heads.

As the group boarded a turtle that will take them to the top of the island, Camie explained that Hatchan was in the Fish-Man district, still recovering from his wounds that he got while protecting the Thousand Sunny and that Pappag lived in a mansion in Gyoverly Hills where Camie occasionally visited to bring him clams.

When they arrived in Mermaid Cove, they met Camie's mermaid friends, which made Sanji cry in happiness. "I-I finally found my All Blue!!"

"Guys! Look!" Chopper pointed at a very familiar barrel. It was the same Barrel where Caribou was stored. "Hey, let's open it." Usopp suggested.

Meanwhile, at Noah, Hammond reported Luffy's arrival to his boss, who ordered his crew to bring Luffy to him.

Luffy's group got acquainted with the mermaids. Sanji was happily swimming with them while Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Camie relaxed. Luffy then asked Camie if he could see Jinbe, mentioning that Jinbe saved him after Ace died. However, Camie told him that Jinbe left the island with the Fish-Man Pirates since he revoked his title of a Warlord of the Sea and that so much on the island has changed since then.

Before she could go into detail, Her friends came rushing to them, telling them that a royal gondola is headed their way possibly to arrest the Straw Hats. "Oh no!" Camie gasped. "Quick, hide!"

The mermaids hide Luffy's group as the three princes from the Neptune House of the Ryugu Kingdom arrived. The princes were Fukaboshi, a shark merman, Ryuboshi, oarfish merman, and Manboshi, a moonfish merman.

They inquired the mermaids about the Straw Hats illegal entry and if they have seen them. The mermaid denied seeing any intruders while Hammond and his men were in the area searching for Luffy. The mermaid holding Sanji triggered his perverted nature and he squirted out a huge nosebleed, giving the Straw Hats away.

The Ammo-King set upon the group, but Chopper pleaded with them to halt their arrest till he could cure Sanji. Chopper, Usopp, and Luffy frantically asked if anyone could donate some blood to save Sanji's blood. The mermaids oddly became reluctant to help. Hammond showed himself, explaining that is against the rules to share their blood with humans, and in return for doing so fish-men will be silenced by a 'judgement in the dark'.

This rule stemmed from the death of Fisher Tiger who apparently died bleeding after a battle and could have been easily saved with a transfusion but no humans were willing to help him. Hammond then commanded Luffy to come with him before resorting to try to capture him with a net. Luffy dodged it and hit Hammond and his lackeys with a Jet Pistol knocking them out much to the surprise of the mermaids.

The sea monster that Hammond brought with him tried to attack Luffy, but the Straw Hat captain used Haki to subdue the beast, calming it before it can even reach Luffy much to the shock of Usopp and Chopper.

Camie suddenly arrived on a gondola (which belongs to the Princes) calling for Luffy and the others to hop on and explained that there is a port in town with humans that could possibly help them. Luffy's group did so and they took off. Camie also mentioned that it had been a while that humans had come down to Fish-Man Island. The Straw Hats were the first guests that they had in a while. She also mentioned that there are rumors of some big shadow moving around the kingdom and preventing humans from reaching the island.

Back at Mermaid Cove, the mermaids apologized for hiding the Straw Hats, but the princes revealed that it was a misunderstanding. They did not come to arrest the group but rather to give them a message from Jinbe before he left the island.

In the Port Town of Coral Hill, Luffy's group took shelter in Madam Shyarly's Mermaid Cafe. Shyarly provided them a room where they could treat Sanji. Luffy's group luckily found blood donors for Sanji. The group was relieved that Sanji regained consciousness.

But...

Much to Sanji's horror, he found out that his blood donors were two okama pirate twins named Splash and Splatter. "Sanji kunnn!! Do you still remember us~~~!!!" They waved at the pale man.

"No, please anything but this!" He gasped and took a step back.

Chopper then examined Luffy's arm and realizes that he got poisoned when he attacked Hammond's group. However, due to his encounter with Magellan, Luffy's body had developed anti-bodies that fought against the poison, which saved Luffy's life. Luffy commented that the octopus merman swordsman that was with Hammond blocked his attack and nicked him in the process, acknowledging he must possessed some skill to do so.

Back at Mermaid Cove, the said blue ringed poisonous octopus merman named Hyouzou was seen carrying his unconscious shipmates back to their hideout. Hyouzou heard a scream and commented that the mermaids were noisy. He also remembered that he accidentally poisoned Luffy when the latter struck him. Hyouzou went on saying that it would be bad if Luffy died, unaware that the Straw Hat had developed an immunity to poison.

Back at the Mermaid Cafe, Luffy, Usopp and Camie went downstairs to where Shyarly was waiting them. Camie asked the owner of the cafe to not let Sanji see her. "He'll start bleeding ago if he found out where  he is!" She warned her.

While the two mermaids were talking, Luffy and Usopp noticed a large crystal ball, Shyarly mentioned that she used to be a fortune teller but quit as she decided to leave the future unknown.

Luffy, being Luffy, went to Shyarly and looked at her curiously. "Hey Shyarly, can mermaids poop?" He asked her.

"How Vulgar!" Shyarly was furious. Luffy quickly apologized to make her feel better.

"Anyway." Shyarly sighed. "Camie, you can take the day off, take these two around the town." She suggested.

"Yeah, thank you. Chopper-chan will stay here in case something bad happens to Sanji-kun." Camie bowed her head. "I need to go visit Pappag and deliver clams!" She remembered. "Let's go guys!" She grabbed both Luffy and Usopp  and headed to the front of the cafe. Unfortunately, they ran right into Pappag accompanied by Brook.

"Yohohohoho~! It's nice to see you two safe~!" Brook laughed. "Nice to see you again Camie-chan!" He waved at the mermaid. "

"Brook!" Luffy hugged his musican, who immediately hugged back. "Pap-man! Nice to see you again!" He greeted Pappag after spotting him.

Pappag, excited to finally meet the strawhats again, invited them to his house for the day to celebrate their arrival on Fish-Man Island. Luffy, and Usopp immediately agreed.

En route, Brook spoted a wanted poster for Vander Decken. Pappag and Camie explained to the group that Vander Decken is a notorious bandit around the area who is smitten with the Mermaid Princess.

The man started sending love letters, then packages, and then threatening marriage proposals. This prompted the King Neptune and the princes to form an army to search for Vander Decken, but have not had any luck finding him.

When Brook prompted about the legend surrounding Decken, Pappag revealed that it was just an exaggeration of the myth and that the Vander Decken from the legend died on Fish-Man Island. The one running around is his descendant, Vander Decken IX.

As they finished the story, Luffy noticed the different colors and sizes of the residents of Fish-Man Island. He saw that one of the Fish-Man had a mermaid child. Pappag stated that when when a Fish-Man and mermaid marry, their offspring can be either one of the two, hence the variety of their species.

As the group headed for a highway, they spotted a candy factory with a pirate flag on it. Pappag explained that it belongs to Charlotte Linlin a.k.a "Big Mom" of the Four Emperors who had taken over as the protector of the island after Whitebeard's death. In return, the island must produce candy for her every month.

The group continued walking towards Pappag's house. The three strawhats were happy to rejoin their friends, however, They were worried about the rest of the crew and their safety.

Let's just hope nothing bad happens to them...
