The Gaze (7)
Previously
Who would have known that I would kiss Josh Dun, on a Ferris wheel, at sunset in a fair? It was too unrealistic. But it happened.
Your POV
I couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday.
I went on a date with Josh Dun. THE JOSH DUN. It was too unreal.
As I lay on my bed thinking about the events I noticed something strange. Throughout the whole date, I could feel a pair of eyes watching me.
It was quite unsettling but I just shrugged it off, trying not to let it ruin the day.
I got out of bed and got ready for the day. I didn't have anything planned so I just stayed t home watching Netflix.
~Time Skip~
It was around midday and I was getting a bit hungry so I decided to leave the comfort of my sofa and headed to the kitchen for some food.
I got there and searched through the cupboards looking for stuff to make a meal out of but found nothing.
'looks like I'll have to go to the shop then' I mentally sighed.
I grabbed my shoes, coat and keys and left my apartment for the look for some food.
I travelled around the streets for a bit until I arrived at the supermarket not that far from my apartment.
However, once I got there I felt that unsettling gaze on me again. Shrugging it off once more I went inside the building to get my shopping done.
Just as I was about to leave with my groceries I spotted the all too familiar face of Josh.
"Hey Y/N!" He greeted cheerfully.
"Hi, Josh." I smiled back.
"Do you need any help carrying those bags home?" he offered politely.
"Yes, please" I agreed, handing him one of the bags, "Thank you, Josh."
"No problem." He replied.
One the way back we made small talk and joked around a bit but that gaze was still on me so I tried to get back as fast as I could.
Once we arrived I thanked Josh and invited him in for dinner. I felt safer when he was around so I felt like that was the best thing to do.
I started putting the groceries away then made some lunch for the two of us.
A/N - Hi. Sorry for not updating for 6 months but I've been really unmotivated and stuff. I do have some good excuses though.
1. Twenty one pilots have been on hiatus for nearly a year now and it hasn't given me any motivation to update this book.
2. School and sports and sleeping is a pain. I don't have a lot of time to update because I have school for most days of the week and then I have clubs and sports after school so it doesn't leave much time to update.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Thanks for sticking around and Bye!
