Nightmare returned back home to find all his friends waiting for him,"NIGHTMAREEEEE!" Horror shouted, he ran up to Nightmare and hugged him like the little puppy he was, Nightmare chuckled and hugged horror back,"we were afraid you wouldn't come back!" Error said,"of course I would come back! I can't just leave you all here!" Nightmare replied, Dream came to visit them again,"hey guys!" He shouted, they all had a great time chatting by the lake.

Dream had brought a fishing pole and used it to catch some fish, Everyone decided to go fishing, most of them dove into the water except Error and killer because they couldn't swim to well, Dream had made sure to fish a bit far from the guys so they wouldn't accidentally mistake his bait for a fish.

???:should we strike yet boss?

???:no, not yet we should wait until that skeleton leaves

???:yes sir

Cross then picked up a new scent in the air,"Nightmare, I'm smelling something weird" he said "What is it cross?" Nightmare said as the group gathered," It smells like poison pellets and swamp water, then there was a snap from behind a bush "Dude why did you do that?" They heard a voice whisper,"everyone get behind me now!" Nightmare said panicked. he then went closer to the bush, An arrow had suddenly flew out but Nightmare caught it, it was a poison-tipped arrow,"Everyone back to the den!" Nightmare called out, everyone ran back except for Error," But what about you boss?!" He said," I'll be fine, now go with the others!" Nightmare replies, Error nodded and ran off.

The guys jumped out from behind the bush and surrounded Nightmare on both sides,"oh would you look at that, a skeleton lamia, you'll make us some good money." One of the guys said, Nightmare used his tail to whack one of the guys and he flew back into the lake, "JAKE GET YOUR A*S BACK HERE!" the other yelled,"IM TRYING PAUL!", Nightmare then tried to attack Paul the same way but he managed to jump over Nightmare's tail, Nightmare decided to try and bite him instead, Paul got a nearby bamboo stick and held it in front of him for protection, Nightmare had bitten into that instead, Paul took this to his advantage and tried kicking Nightmare, it hurt a little but Nightmare barely moved, his friend Jake then came over and took out a pocket knife, Nightmare had gotten away quickly because he did not know if the knife was poisoned or not.

he then decided to run back to his gang and Dream, he then ran off in the direction of his friends, hoping they would not follow. He finally reached his den,"I'm back!" He said, his friends were glad,"did they follow you?" Dream said,"No I don't think so..." he said looking behind him just to make sure, just as he was about to go in he felt a sharp pain in his back, he looked and it was an arrow, a poisoned one. "NIGHTMARE!" All of his friends screamed as he fell to the ground, Dream watched in horror as this happened. The two hunters then jumped down by a nearby tree as Dust, Error, Horror, Killer and Cross surrounded Nightmare. Dream was filled with rage and hatred for those two men, as the two hunters got closer two arrows whizzed past their head, they looked in front of them to find Dream holding his bow with another arrow loaded," YOUR GONNA PAY FOR HURTING HIM YOU ASSHA*S!" He said, After that the battle had begun, it had ended soon because it was only two men against six monsters, after the battle was done they went over to Nightmare, Dream then called Ink and Blue to tell them what happened, they already knew Dream's friends and understood that they would never harm him," what type of poison was it Dream?" Ink said," it was buttercup poison, I can tell by the color on the arrow" Dream replied," I think I saw a cure somewhere for that but it's really hard to get, it's called a Midnight rose! You'll have ten days before he dies from the poison," Ink said,"Okay, Where can I find it?" Dream said worried,"I believe there's a village somewhere in the forest you're in that grows them!" Ink said to dream," thank you Ink" Dream said, Dream told his friends about what he needed to do to save Nightmare, he then went home and started packing for his trip to the village.
