They must hate me so much.

Those were the words that haunted Kagemi for the next few days after his 'prank' on Cuddly and Jorogumo, causing him to lock himself in his room all day long, starving himself in the process. Honestly, why wouldn't they? They didn't say it out loud, but their gazes were enough. 

Kagemi knew that they hated him for what happened to Cuddly afterwards; his reverting back to Bearlynyan.

He knew.

And he understood. Because he felt the same way.

What on Earth were you thinking, Kagemi? he mentally chastised. Just because you fought with Rasen doesn't justify going after Cuddly. Jorogumo deserves happiness. Unlike you. You were just a stupid villain who justified all his views. You're nothing. You're just a waste of space in this world. Why did you become a Youkai again?

Kagemi stopped for a while after that question.

"Why... Why DID I become a Youkai?..." he mumbled to himself. 

He tried to search his memories, trying to find what led to him becoming a Youkai.

But no matter how much he tried, no matter how hard he concentrated, it... It just didn't come.

"ARGH!" Kagemi screamed. "Come ON! GIVE ME THE STUPID ANSWER ALREADY!!!!"

The mirror Youkai kept on shouting, screaming out his frustrations, unknowing of his eavesdropper.

Chilly's ice blue eyes watched her friend scream, mouth open in shock, "K-Kagemi..."

Knowing she had to tell the rest, Chilly teleported herself to the living room, where the Agency, LEs, and Youkai were all gathered.

Bao En blinked upon seeing the worry in the CG's eyes, "Chil? What's wrong?"

"I don't know how to explain it... But to put it simply.... Kagemi is really really regretting.... To the point that he's shouting at himself....." she replied.

At that, Keisuke's eyes widened in alarm. "W-WHAT?!"

Mukuro didn't waste time though, immediately sprinting from her location on the sofa to the stairs, closely followed by Rasen, Movien and Junko. Once she got to the aforementioned Youkai's room, she expertly used her right leg to kick it down, revealing a sniffing Kagemi as he screamed his anger out.

Rasen took a step back involuntarily, eyes wide in disbelief, "G-Gemi?...."

Movien looked stunned to see him in this state, "Kagemi...."

Junko winced, feeling the self-pain Kagemi was experiencing through his words.

Mukuro did the same as Junko, understanding why he felt that way.

Kagemi's voice was growing hoarser and hoarser, yet he didn't show signs of stopping.

Then...

Then it did.

Like magic, Kagemi suddenly stopped shouting.

But instead chose to curl up into a ball and sob in there.

Junko's eyes softened seeing this. Kagemi reminded her of the times after Mukuro had been kidnapped by Fenrir, when she would curl up and cry inside, asking herself why she couldn't save her.

That's why she slowly walked in, sat beside Kagemi and hugged him, "There, there, it's okay..."

But to her shock, Kagemi pushed her away from him, "S-Stay away, Junko... I-I'm just a jerk who hurts his friends and can't remember why he became a Youkai in the stupid first place." 

"Don't say that!" Movien sputtered. "You're not a jerk!" 

"Yes, I am!" Kagemi shouted, choking on his own tears. "I.... I caused so much pain!" 

"What makes you say that?" Mukuro crossed her arms. 

"B-Because I..." Kagemi trailed off, unable to speak as he tried to think up reasons. 

"You did not do anything wrong, Kagemi," Junko whispered into his ear comfortingly. "It's just that Cuddly worked so hard on that date." 

"B-But I didn't do it on purpose!" Kagemi protested weakly. "I-I DID consider pranking them, b-but I decided not to! I-I was just trying to make it better by making it a candlelit dinner! T-The next thing I knew, I-I was being dragged in front of Keita and being accused of setting it on fire on purpose! B-But I didn't!" 

He looked so miserable now, what with the snivelling and regret and all the factors that made him hate himself more. 

Movien understood that. 

So did Rasen. 

That's why the two walked over and hugged Kagemi. 

"We believe you, Gemi," Movien mumbled into his ear. 

"I'm sorry for shouting, Gemi. I didn't mean it," Rasen apologised softly, feeling regretful for his harsh words. 

Kagemi could only cry even more hearing their words, which Junko and Mukuro took as a sign to leave the room.
