Known to the mythical as the ancestors of Youkai, Banshees are said to be female spirits who wail because of a family member's death. However, to be honest, Banshees look similar to Youkai, only more animal due to their primitive nature.

The banshee everyone knows is called a Wailing Banshee, said to look like a cursed spirit with glowing red eyes and black robes. The Dementors are part of the Wailing Banshees, a special type whose origins are unknown.

Banshees also use medals and a watch, but the model is similar to the model Zero Keizou created.

Banshees reside in a secret cave in Ireland, having the ability to move from place to place with a huge amount of concentration.

Fubuki Shirou is an acknowledger of this species and Youkai.
