Taking Care of Yourself
This is for everybody regardless of your situations and struggles. Take care of yourself. Always. Sometimes life is rough but that's never a reason to give up or stop taking care of yourself.
To those struggling with self harm: I know it's hard, but please be the one to choose to quit. It's your choice. Find the will inside of yourself. Take things one day at a time. One hour at a time. Focus on making it the rest of the day safely. Then do it again tomorrow. And the next day. It's hard. It can be straining and stressful, especially for the first few weeks. But I promise it gets easier with time. Find alternatives. Draw on yourself with marker where you want to hurt yourself. At the end of the day all the marks show all the times you made the choice to not hurt yourself and it's always an accomplishment.
To those of you struggling with harmful thoughts: you are worth it. You are amazing. You are kind. You are valid. You are strong. You are important. You are only human just like everybody else and you will be okay.
To those of you struggling with your bodies: you are perfect. That sounds cliche, but remember, everything you look like is just a description. The things you may not like are just adjectives, and they don't represent you as a whole. I know it's hard, but please take care of yourselves. You are valid and you are a wonderful you no matter how you look right now. And that's okay. Be you, because everyone else is already taken.
For those that don't want to eat, or that struggle with any eating disorder, today please eat something. Drink some water.
For everyone out there, you are amazing. You are valid.
Remember that you can be anything you want and be anyone. Don't let others drag you down, and never let your less happy thoughts get you down. Keep on fighting.
