Discovering your sexual orientation can be a difficult journey, and it can take a long time to be confident in yourself. But don't worry, you'll get to a place where you feel safe and secure in yourself!

Take the time to explore; there's no rush or set timeline where you have to have everything figured out.

It's a deeply personal experience, and you may find a term that fits you or you may choose to leave it unlabeled. Either way, you may choose to be open and share this experience with others, or you may not come out, and both are okay.

There is a wide spectrum of what your sexual orientation can look like, and it may change or it may remain exactly the same, but your are valid and deserve to be respected and comfortable regardless of how you identify yourself.

If you go through phases, that's completely okay. You are still you, and you can learn from all phases you go through.

If you question yourself, and find that you are heterosexual, then your time was not wasted and you just understand yourself better for having taken the time to open yourself to other possibilities.

If you discover that you don't experience sexual attraction, then that's okay! There is nothing wrong with you, and you're just yourself. Don't try to change who you are because of outside pressures.

If you find that you aren't heterosexual, then that's okay! You can understand yourself better knowing that, and you are valid and loved for who you are.
