Gender/Pronouns

It's okay to question your gender. There's nothing wrong with questioning, because no matter what you are, you'll learn more about who you are.

If you find that after questioning you don't identify with the gender assigned to you at birth, that's okay! You are valid. You can decide what to do from there and whether you want to come out to anyone or transition or when you're ready to.

If after questioning you find that you are cisgender(identify with the gender assigned to you at birth), that's okay! You're still valid and you have learned more about yourself in the process!

If you are still questioning, it's okay to not use any label. It is okay to change labels as many times as you need to!

If you are questioning your gender or unsure of the pronouns you prefer(or even just curious!), try this website! You can input your preferred name and pronouns that you want to try and it will give you samples of text with the information so you can see if you like it.

You're preferred pronouns are your real pronouns. Your preferred name is your real name. Your gender identity is your real gender.

You can use any pronouns that feel right no matter who you are. If you're cisgender or transgender anywhere on the gender spectrum, it's okay to change your pronouns and question.

Should I do a chapter on some gender identities? Do you want to hear about my own experiences?

Stay strong, everyone.
