INT. CORRIDOR IN THE IDES REPUBLIC

The Ides Republic is a magnificent structure where the Ides, the Council, and the Half-Gods of Everess converse. Made of white marble and adorned with stained glass windows reminiscent of those in a cathedral, the building boasts lofty ceilings that add to its grandeur. Only two individuals, Ide Halen and Demitor, are present in the hallway. Halen is garbed in black and blue graduation robes, sans the head cap, and has his silver hair tied in a ponytail. His striking golden eyes, featuring a white pupil, exude an air of danger even when he appears tranquil. On the other hand, Demitor contrasts Halen's look with his short, black hair and captivating blue eyes that seem to stare into one's soul. He is clad in tungsten armor adorned with fiery blue engravings.

Ide Halen, Ide of Helluzar, and Demitor walk together in the hallway.

IDE HALEN 

How is your child doing, Demitor?

DEMITOR 

Doing great. She is four months old. The time goes by fast.

IDE HALEN 

You have five older kids. Of course, time is going to fly.

DEMITOR
