Author Note: Place After Helluva Boss: The New Employee Episode 9

After the incident with Mirage and his minions, the I.M.P crew are fixing the wall and other damages that's been done to the office. The walls have holes on it, everything has been either broken, shatter, and scatter, and other kinds of damages.

"Fuck, this is going to take us fuckin forever to fix this mess," Blitz says, boarding up the wall.

Millie sweeps the floor as she says, "Yeah. The office really got messed up from the fight we had."

Moxie helps Blitz hammer up the wall, "Well, what we can do will be fine for now until we can call a contractor to fix up the wall. And see if there are any other kinds of damages."

"Yeah, but it's going to take us fuckin forever to fix everything, not to mention buy a new table for the meeting room," Blitz says.

Then looks around to notice, "Where's Amara and Roy?"

"You sent them out to go get lunch since we've been working on this all morning," Moxxie says.

"Oh, right," Blitz comments.

Loona walks in the room and says, "Okay, I think I got the stuff we need to fix the wall for now." as she carries some supplies and such and puts them on the ground.

Then asks, "Is Amara and Roy back yet?"

"Not yet, but they should be soon? I'm sure they're already on their way back," Millie happily says.

Walking back to the I.M.P company, Amara and Roy are carrying bags and beverage trays that are full of their lunch.

"I actually like walking around the city," Roy says.

"Yeah. I do too, despite the craziness that happens once in the while, especially when we're on the job," Amara says.

"That's true, do you think we can go back to Loo Loo Land once it's been fixed up," Roy says.

"Maybe, as long as we don't have to see that creepy Robo Fizzarolli, I'll be happy. And when they fix up the park too, the place seems to be falling apart," Amara says.

"And I hope we can go on some rides this time," Roy says.

"I know, but remember I was on bodyguard duty that day. Although, it feels more like a date rather than work in Blitz and Stolas' case," Amara says.

Roy laughs with a grin on his face and Amara begins laughing as well.

Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice, "Well Well well, if it isn't the youngest Owl employee and the cute little Imp from that prick's business."

Amara and Roy turn their heads to see the pop star succubus walking towards them with the bottle of her favorite BeelzeJuice bottle.

Amara calmly says, "Well hello Verosika, it's surprising to see you after what happened at the beach in the human world."

"Yeah. While you and your annoying friend left to head back to hell, my crew and I got arrested by the police," Verosika says, not very pleased.

"It's kind of your own fault when you leave your Beelzejuice bottle in the water where a living world's animals can get to it," Amara says.

"Oh really..." Verosika says as she walks towards Amara.

She then places her hand on her cheek and says, "Last I remember, your little Imp would have been in deeper shit for not being in disguise."

"Just be glad that we didn't blab about the mess we were in. The bet. The Fish Monster attack. We agreed to keep this a secret if you let us have the parking space you took from our company," Amara sternly says.

"That's right. We did. However, I can still see something a bit out of place," Verosika says.

"And what will that be?" Amara sternly asks.

Verosika smirks and says, "You of course."

"Oh, and why do you think that?" Amara asks.

"Well, I've heard a few interesting things about you. The talent: playing the guitar, singing, and dancing. The skill: using weapons, combat skills, and guns. And lastly and power: You have magical powers and yet, you mostly rely on your physical strength. It makes me wonder why you've decided to work for that fuckin ex of mine," Verosika says.

Amara says, "What I do is none of your business. Even if it is, I don't see why you're bothered with me working with them. Now if you excuse us, we need to get back to the office." and about to leave.

Verosika then grabs Amara by her arm and pulls her towards her.

"Here's a little advice for you. You should quit that job while you have the chance. I'm sure you can find better work elsewhere than being with that prick," Verosika says.

Then she takes her leave, leaving the siblings. Amara is annoyed and lets out a sigh. Wondering what her problem is.

Amara mutters, "Lustful popstar."

Amara turns to Roy, "Come on Roy, let's head back to the office. And try to not say any of this to Blitz and the others. He'll freak."

"Agree," Roy replies.

The two siblings continue to walk down the street and soon arrive at the office.

"We're back!" Amara calls out.

Blitz walks over, "Finally, we were waiting for you guys."

"Sorry, there was a bit of a delay, but we're back now and we got food and drinks for everyone," Amara says.

"Good cause I'm hungry," Blitz says.

He grabs his food and drinks and takes them to the office.

Amara and Roy turn to each other and begin gigging with one another.
