Meanwhile, up in the mortal realm, Y/N was seen walking down a street in the dark. He hasn't said a word since he freed Verosika and her gang. However, when he stepped into a street light, he looked at his body and his hands. He clenched his fists and growled angrily and then yelled out as he punched the street light, breaking it and its light.

Y/N: *looks up* You... You think that people's lives are just games for You to play? Just disposable toys for You to play with for all eternity? Huh? Is that how You view this world? ... Well, I know what it's like to suffer! Believe me! I went through plenty of that! And my parents didn't deserve to suffer! And I don't give a fuck if my mother was a demonic hellhound. She followed Your stupid rules and has reached out to you to bless her life! AND THIS IS WHAT YOU OFFERED HER?!

Soon, thunder was close to closing in as Y/N continued to curse out God.

Y/N (Demonic): You sent Your fucking humans to come to my home and murder my parents in cold blood! I have been a good man throughout my life! My parents have committed no sins or anything like that! So, why?! WHY?! Why do You continue to make my life a living Hell, both figuratively and literally?! What the fuck is it going to take to please You?! Break the rules and you fall! Follow them and you still lose! I guess it doesn't matter to You if these people are sinners or saints. And it clearly doesn't matter if they're an angel, a human, or a demon! And speaking of demons, what were You thinking when You brought them into this world? I was able to befriend a hellhound who's been through Hell for the rest of her life! So, tell me something!

Rain then started to fall upon Y/N.

Y/N (Demonic): Someone as beautiful and talented as Loona... doesn't deserve to suffer like that! So, why is suffering, death, and destruction the only thing they know?! Why is this world so goddamn complicated to understand?! WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT ME TO DO?!

Nothing.

Y/N (Demonic): ANSWER ME!!!

Still nothing. He continued to stand there in the rain, but he was soon reduced to tears as he started crying. He couldn't hold his emotions and his pain inside, anymore. Soon, he lets out a roar against God and Heaven and thunder and lightning followed up with his roar. After a while, he panted heavily and cried as hard as he could as he yelled and fell to the ground on his knees.

???: N/N...

Y/N gasped as he looked up and started looking around.

Y/N: That voice... I know that... But, where...?

???: You seem to be troubled, my son.

Soon, a light shined behind Y/N and he turned around, but he couldn't see through the bright light. The light then died down and a familiar figure approached Y/N.

???: Sorry about that. Guess I'm still getting used to my new life in the other side.

Y/N: What...?

He opened his eyes and they widened and he gasped as he saw his mother M/N. She was still in her hellhound state, but she was more angelic and her eyes were blue.

M/N (Angel): Hey, N/N.

Y/N: Mom...

He started crying again to the point where he lost control of his legs and started running to her. To his surprise, when he got to her, he was able to feel her body as he continued to hug her.

M/N (Angel): It's alright, N/N. I'm right here.

Y/N: *crying* Mom...

This went on for a while, but they broke the hug and Y/N looked at M/N in the eyes.

M/N (Angel): ... You're not looking so very well, are you? You look awful.

Y/N: ...

M/N (Angel): Tell me. What's gotten you so sharp and tense?

Y/N: ...

M/N (Angel): Hehehehe. Just kidding, son. I saw the whole thing.

Y/N: You did?

M/N (Angel): Yeah. And honestly... You didn't do the right thing.

Y/N: What?

M/N (Angel): Leaving Loona and the others behind like that? That was just... wrong.

Y/N: But... Loona hurt me when she broke our promise.

M/N (Angel): Heh. You can be so melodramatic at times. ... Then again, you did live a quiet and peaceful life with me and F/N in a peaceful neighborhood, so I guess it makes sense that you're fragile.

Y/N: ...

M/N (Angel): ... Listen, N/N, it doesn't matter if she broke the promise. You still chose to leave her behind like that. Promises aren't everything, N/N. They don't take balance in your relationship with her. That's up to you two.

Y/N: ... But, why? Why do I have to go back to Hell? And be with those murderers?

M/N (Angel): Because you don't care if they're murderers or not. You don't care if they're demons. But, you want to know what you do care about?

Y/N: ...

M/N (Angel): The love you feel towards them.

Y/N: What?

M/N (Angel): Despite the fact that they murder people they're contracted to kill, deep down in your heart, you wanted to be with them, no matter what. Because you love them.

Y/N: It's too late for that, Mom. She broke our promise.

M/N (Angel): N/N, she may have broken the promise about Blitzø, but not about murdering innocent people.

Y/N: What?

M/N (Angel): N/N, those people at the beach may seem innocent, but not everyone is what they seem. Aren't you familiar with the phrase "You can't judge a book by its cover"? Well, that's what you did to the people.

Y/N knew that M/N was right. Despite the fact that he once said that in past when he was a scholar, he couldn't even follow his own advice. He has never felt so ashamed of himself in ever.

Y/N: ...

M/N (Angel): ... And I hate to make things worse, but... Things in Hell aren't going so well.

Y/N: What do you mean?

M/N (Angel): Ever since they returned to Hell, Loona's... not been herself. She blames herself for what happened between you two. And she's having an identity crisis.

Y/N: ... Loona... Loona!

M/N (Angel): Stop! You can't go to her! Not yet.

Y/N: Why not?!

M/N (Angel): Because she just got done having a shouting match with Blitzø. I don't think she's in a position to see anybody else. You'll have to wait for a bit if you want to talk to her when she wants to talk.

Y/N: ... Well, what am I supposed to do if I can't go back to Hell?

M/N then pointed at a building behind her.

M/N (Angel): You'll need to stay in this place for a while. But, if you want to pass the time, you can continue your scholarship work.

Y/N: How? I haven't been able to continue my scholarship work since I got to Hell.

M/N (Angel): Then, it's high time you got back to work. However, everyone assumes you are dead, so you'll have to work in secret. If everyone finds out that you're alive, then they'll come after you with reporters and everything. We can't let humanity know anything about divinity. If that happens, then we'd be creating a worldwide panic.

Y/N: But... Blitzø and the others travel to Earth to murder their targets. So, aren't they...?

M/N (Angel): Luckily, humanity's a bit stupid, so they won't be able to tell that they're demons from Hell. However, I don't expect some of them to be fooled for long. They will eventually strike back and it'll be your job to stop humanity before they upset the balance between life and death. They already did it once with me and God wasn't happy with it. Luckily, thanks to the good deeds I've done on Earth, God was able to allow me into Heaven.

Y/N: Wait, so, it's possible for a demon to go to Heaven if he or she does some good deeds?

M/N (Angel): I'm the perfect example, son.

Y/N: ... But, I don't get it. How come demons are allowed to travel to the mortal realm and kill humans?

M/N (Angel): Because of Lucifer. Ever since God banished him to Hell, Lucifer has changed Hell. And now, he has given the word that demons are allowed to travel Earth. Unfortunately, only a few selected demons are allowed to travel to the mortal plane. And it appears to me that a Goetia is having sex with your boss in order for him and his crew to do their job.

Y/N: Yeah...

M/N (Angel): ... Well, they should consider themselves lucky that Lucifer hasn't been able to keep tabs on Imp City.

Y/N: Mom... I gotta know... About the hybrids...

M/N (Angel): N/N, you are my biological son. You're not like the hybrids from a long time ago. Unfortunately, the Overlords that killed the hybridization under Lucifer's orders don't know that. Listen, if they find out about your existence, no place here or in Heaven is safe for you. I'm sorry you have to carry such a burden, N/N.

Y/N: Mom... You said it yourself. I'm your son. And Dad's. I don't feel remorse or anything for the hybridization. I'm proud. And... I'm glad you came.

M/N (Angel): Really?

Y/N: Yes. I guess you could say that I needed this. I'm gonna make everything right, Mom. I'll continue to live my life to my very best. I'll be the greatest scholar I can ever hope to become. And more importantly, I love Blitzø, Moxxie, Millie, and Loona. They're my family. So, I'm gonna hold on to hope that one day, we can live in peace. Just like you and I and Dad did.

M/N (Angel): ... *smiles* I'm glad that someone like you exists in this lifetime, N/N. You're gonna change countless lives. ... It's time for me to go.

Y/N: Will I see you again?

M/N smiled and placed her hand on Y/N's head. Soon, he was wrapped in a white and blue aura and his eyes flashed to an angel's eyes.

M/N (Angel): I have bestowed upon you a chance to call upon me by a simple prayer. All you have to do is call my name and I'll be right here with you. This isn't goodbye, N/N. This is just a "Farewell until next meeting".

Y/N: ... Thanks, Mom.

M/N (Angel): Give Loona some time to recover. And when that happens and you think the time is right, you may return to Hell.

Y/N: Okay. Love you, Mom.

M/N (Angel): Love you, too.

She then disappeared into the light and Y/N watched as she returned to Heaven. He thought about what she said as the rain and thunder continued.

Y/N: ... Alright, N/N. Time to make this right.

He then approached the building ahead of him and when he got inside, it was all ruined and torn.

Y/N: *wolf whistle* Talk about a huge mess. Guess I know what I'm doing to pass the time. Lord, I know that I said some mean things to you and I'm terribly sorry for that. But, please, give me strength to do this. *walks away*
