When the truck arrived at a base, the poacher opened the truck bed and another poacher approached him.

Poacher #4: Hey, ya got something?

Poacher #1: Oh, hell yeah! Also, I got a little extra.

He then grabbed Y/N's body.

Poacher #4: ... Dude, are you shitting me, right now?! That's a human!

Poacher #1: A human with ears and a tail.

Poacher #4: Wait, what? *looks at Y/N* Dickhead, they're fake.

Poacher #1: *tugs on tail and ears* Are they?

Poacher #4: ... Well, fuck me, then. H-How is this possible?

Poacher #1: He's a hybrid! I have a feeling that he's gonna cost a fortune.

Poacher #4: "He"?

Poacher #1: Dude, don't go that far.

As they talked, in Y/N's mind, he was seen in the darkness.

Y/N: Oh, my head... Wait, am I dead?

???: No.

Y/N jumped and looked around.

???: You aren't dead. Not that you can die.

Y/N: Wait, you mean I'm immortal?

???: You mean "We"?

A red flame then emerged from the darkness and another Y/N was revealed, but this Y/N had demonic eyes.

Y/N: What the...? What am I doing over there?

Y/N (Demonic): *chuckles* Don't you remember? I'm the Y/N that killed the bastards... for what they did to M/N.

Y/N: *gasps* Y-You mean... You're-

Y/N (Demonic): Yes. I'm the better of you. The darkness within you.

Y/N: N-No way! That's not possible!

Y/N (Demonic): Hehehehehe. Everyone has a darkness. Even us. And I'm your evil side. But, I'm the best there is.

Y/N: Big words coming from a faker like you!

Y/N (Demonic): Am I a fake? Because you do realize that you're insulting yourself, right?

Y/N: Shut up! There's no way that I can be something as monstrous as you!

Y/N (Demonic): Why not? I've awoken when M/N died in our arms.

Y/N: You can't even call her Mom, so how the fuck can you be me?!

Y/N (Demonic): Like I told you, I'm the darkness within you. The negative thoughts that flow in the back of your head.

Y/N: What? No, you'll murder countless people! I can't let you do that!

Y/N (Demonic): And why not? They've murdered countless animals. I'm just returning the favor. Last I remember, karma's a bitch.

Y/N: Well, I didn't think you're name was "karma". You've murdered so many people because of what they did to Mom, and now, you're murdering people again because they're killing animals. Sorry, me, but I won't let you!

He ran to Evil Y/N, but Evil Y/N vanished and appeared behind him.

Y/N (Demonic): Hehehehehe. Blitzø, Moxxie, Millie, and Loona murder people for no reason all because they're demons. Worthless scumbags that don't understand anything. Once I take control, I think I'm gonna go after them next.

Y/N: Grr! No! I don't give a fuck if they do murder people! I care about them! They're my-

Y/N (Demonic): Family? How can they be your family when all they know is murder, destruction, bloodlust, and ruination? You can't change who they are, no matter how hard you try.

Y/N: I don't have to change who they are! They can... still... be themselves whilst doing their thing!

Y/N (Demonic): Look at you. It's adorable that you care about them. But, how can you protect them if you can't even find a reason why? You're protecting murderers.

Y/N: Shut up! Humans have done the same thing for a long time! So, how can you tell the difference between humans and demons?

Y/N (Demonic): Because demons are mindless bastards that prey on the guilty and the innocent. Plus, the people reading this story won't like it if you change who they are.

Y/N: So, what?! They dropped everything just to be there for me!

Y/N (Demonic): Who's to say they'll do it again? Come on, N/N, they're demons. They don't care about anything other than themselves. If anything, we'll be doing the whole world a favor by murdering every scumbag on the planet. And once that's done with, we'll turn our attention to the demons and they'll understand what it's like to be hunted down like prey!

Y/N: Sh-Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!

He charged at Evil Y/N again and tried to hit him with everything he had, but Evil Y/N chuckled evilly and dodged his attacks.

Y/N (Demonic): You forget? We are the same. We think as one, N/N. I can predict your movements.

Y/N: *thinking* In that case...

When Evil Y/N dodged to the right, Y/N was quick enough to land his left fist against Evil Y/N's face. He then kept up the pressure by throwing rapid fists and kicks against Evil Y/N and then kicked him back. However, Evil Y/N laughed.

Y/N (Demonic): Is that all? If so, then you're will is pathetic.

Y/N: What?

Y/N (Demonic): I do not understand it. What is it about Blitzø and the others that attracts you to them? Why would you work for them, despite the fact that they murder people? *gasps* Wait a second... I know why! It's because of their pasts, isn't it? You know about their pain and you want to help them!

He then laughed evilly like crazy.

Y/N (Demonic): Oh my God! That's the most funniest shit I've ever heard! Hahahahaha! It's ironic! That you think that just because you know about their pain means that you can use that pain to help shape shift their thinking.

Y/N: What? No, that's not what I'm trying to do!

Y/N (Demonic): Oh, but it is! You chose to be with them so that you can try to help make them happy. How unbelievably stupid and pathetic the other side of me really is. Why can't you get through your head? It doesn't matter if they've been through Hell. They're demons! They're spineless, merciless, and bloodthirsty bastards that seek to end all of humanity and you're protecting them! Hahahahaha!

He continued to laugh as Y/N growled, but Evil Y/N got up close to him and grabbed his face and slammed him to the ground.

Y/N (Demonic): What makes you think you can change who they are? How can you hope to help them when all they do is murder? You can't! You can't help them because eventually, they'll turn their back on you and break your heart by going against your will. Even if they make a promise to you, they'll still continue to do their thing because that's all they know how to do. So, tell me, N/N. How are you going to change them when you can't even be there for them?

Y/N: ...

Blitzø (Flashback): N/N, we're assassins! It's how we work! If you have a problem with that, then leave! *sighs* I'm sorry, N/N, but this is what we're good at. Besides, this is Hell. You can't... expect anything good and innocent in a place like this.

Loona (Flashback): Ever since I was a pup, I was stuck in that goddamn orphanage and was mistreated by other hellhounds. If anything, I'm glad Blitzø got me out of there.

Blitzø (Flashback): Listen, under serious matters, Loona has been stuck in the orphanage with nobody on her side. All of the families that came into the orphanage have abused, neglected, and rejected her since she was a puppy. That's why she was an asshole since I adopted her. But, when you and her became friends, she became hesitant and nervous because she's never had a friend or anything like that.

Y/N just lied there on the ground and thought about what Blitzø and the others said.

Y/N: ... You're wrong.

Y/N (Demonic): Hm?

Y/N: I have no desire to change who they are. If this is how they work, then who am I to change them? The Hell they've been through to become who they are... I understand. Their flaws and their pain are what makes them human. The tears they've shed... The pain they had to endure since childhood... That's what makes them into who they are today! That's... what makes them human!

He then grabbed Evil Y/N's face and stabbed his finger into his eye, which made him yell out and let go of Y/N. Y/N then kneed Evil Y/N and punched him in the face and blew him back. He recovered and watched as Y/N got back up.

Y/N: Demon or human, when it comes down to people's hearts and emotions, those words are just that! Words! They define who we are. I chose to be there for them because of the pain and fear they had to endure. I don't have to change who they are. That's their choice. But, the choices they make define who they are. How they think and operate. So what if they're demons? They're not mindless. As long as they care about one another and stay by each other's side, then they're as human as we are!

Y/N (Demonic): Tch. Meaningless, childish squabble. You talk too much.

Y/N: Heh. I get that a lot. But... That's what makes me into who I am. And I'm not ashamed. Blitzø, Moxxie, Millie, and Loona are as human as they can be, even if they don't admit it. That's why I chose to stay with them. Because out of everyone in Hell, those four are unique. They... make me feel safe. But, Loona... That woman is something else entirely. I don't know what it is that attracts me to her, but she's wonderful.

He then smiled as he thought about Loona.

Y/N: Honestly... Despite being a hellhound, she's as human as she can be. She may be emo and angry at times, but underneath that hardcore stature, she has a good heart. She appreciates the hard work Blitzø does and likes to make fun of Moxxie. If that's not perfect woman material, then I don't know what is.

Y/N (Demonic): ...

Y/N: ... You're right. Someday, they may back down on the promise I made to them, but that doesn't matter! As long as they learn from their mistakes, that's all that matters to me. Not to mention, anyone, human or demon or angel, who even thinks about hurting them will answer to me! I don't give a damn if they're powerful!

Y/N (Demonic): What utter nonsense! You don't even have full control over your power and you can't use them to your will! Only I can, so how can you hope to hear someone like me?!

He launched himself forward at Y/N.

Y/N: That should be obvious.

He blocked Evil Y/N's punch with his right arm and used his left arm to skewer his fist into Evil Y/N.

Y/N: I'm a quick study. I improvise. Besides, we're the same, aren't we? I can predict your movements. When it comes to anger, your movements make you predictable and sloppy. And I can use that to my advantage. Sorry, other me, but you lost this one.

Y/N (Demonic): You can't do this to me! I'm the reason you've survived! I'm the reason you're here today! So, what am I supposed to do, now?!

Y/N: That should be obvious, right? Despite the fact that you're the evil me, you need to be me since you are me. Otherwise, what's the point in us existing if we can't be me?

Evil Y/N's eyes then began to revert back to normal after hearing that and slowly started to cry.

Y/N: Thanks for help me. But, I'll take it from here. Okay?

Soon, Evil Y/N began to vanish and the atoms got absorbed into Y/N. Y/N then opened his eyes and they were demonic. Then, his pitch black environment returned to the real world as he awakened and the poachers were still arguing. He then chuckled and they turned around.

Poacher #1: Did... Did you hear that?

Y/N: Hehehehehe. Did you think that a mere gunshot could finish me off?

Poacher #4: What?! But, how?! How is he still alive?!

Poacher #1: I-I shot him point-blank!

Y/N then stood up and broke free from his shackles by using his newfound strength.

Y/N: Sorry, but your flight's cancelled.

In the blink of an eye, Y/N killed the poachers by decapitating them.

Y/N: Heh. *looks around* So, this is their base of operations, huh? *smirks* Well, it wouldn't hurt to take a look around before heading back home. Sorry, guys, but dinner time will have to wait. *runs away*
