Chapter 7: Facing Him Again
The next day, Jamie sighed, knowing what she was going into. She remembered a piece of advice she had before she started training.
“Perfect love casts out fear.”
(A/N That’s the summed-up version from an episode of Bible-Man.)
It was the shorter version of 1 John 4:18, but she kept it in mind when it came to going up against anyone. She did this when she met I.M.P. Because she cared for Stolas and Via and they were good friends with them (Blitzø meaning a lot more than that to Stolas), that was enough reason for her to step in. And in the process, they became important to her too.
With that in mind, she headed out.
She flew over Hell for a while, doing her job like normal, before heading toward Imp City. She kept an eye out for any sign of Striker, but so far, she didn’t.
Once she landed, she felt like she was being watched, so she summoned her sword in secret. But then as a gunshot went off, she blocked it with her sword.
“You really aren’t gonna quit, are ya?” she asked, turning around.
And low and behold, there was Striker with a gun pointed at her, smoke coming out of it.
“Not until my target is down for the count,” he stated.
“You don’t seem like your cocky self today,” Jamie remarked.
“Well, some info on you was left out, but now that I know, I’m not playing games,” Striker declared.
“Well, you should know…I never play games,” she informed.
They then began fighting. As this went down, I.M.P. heard the gunshot and looked down to see what was happening.
“Oh f*ck!” Blitz freaked out then said, “Let’s f*ck that cowboy up!”
They made their way down as Jamie and Striker continued in the street before she pinned him to the wall.
“I know you’re not in the mood to lose, but after hearing about you, I’m not in the mood to care,” she said.
“And what have you heard about me, doll?” he smirked a little.
But before she could answer, the others showed up with weapons ready, taking notice of the outcome.
“Well, it looks like someone got on the wrong side of the horse,” Moxxie remarked.
“Whatcha gotta say about that?” Millie taunted.
“Not much apparently,” Loona said.
And with that, a portal opened behind Striker and he and Jamie fell through before closing quickly.
“What…the…F*CK!” Blitz shouted.

A/N That was my reaction to “The Full Moon” episode.
