Chapter 3: Visiting Old Friends and Making New Enemies

After entering Hell, she went on her usual patrol. Some of the demons hated when she came, flipping her off or cussing her out; others were afraid and hid. But she kept a brave face and continued on with what she had to do.

After every patrol, she headed to I.M.P. And unlike a lot of demons, she used the door. Once in, she headed for their part of the building and noticed Loona just on her phone.

"Anything good on there?" Jamie smirked.

Loona looked up and smiled at her.

"Hey, Y/N. How's it going?" she asked.

"Oh, the usual. Just my patrol with the occasional flipping off, cussing, and hiding," Jamie answered.

"Not surprised," Loona chuckled.

"Well, yee-f*cking-haw!" Millie's voice sounded, making the two look to see her and Moxxie, then Millie continued, "How ya doing, Jamie?"

"I'm good," Y/N smiled.

"Any updates on any uprisings?" Moxxie asked.

"Not really. Just the same," Jamie answered.

"Damn shame. I'm actually in the mood to kill someone," Blitzø commented from the doorway of his office.

"When are you not?" Jamie smirked then told him, "Good to see ya, Blitzø."

"You too, J," Blitzø smiled.

They all then hung out, Jamie sometimes looking after the office when they had an assignment. Then it was time for her to head back.

"Well, I gotta head back. But say 'hi' to Stolas and Via for me," she requested.

They agreed and said their goodbyes before she flew off.

And as she flew off, one particular demon grimaced in disgust at her.

The demon, Stella, marched back in her house in anger before seeing a picture of Jamie with Stolas and Via that Via brought over whenever she stayed with her. Stella grabbed it and threw it against the wall, it shattering.

"I can't stand that bitch! She has to die!" Stella shrieked.

So, she went straight for the phone and dialed up the one assassin who could take her out.

(A/N Play video now please.)

At that moment, the assassin's phone rang and it didn't take long for him to answer it.

"Yeah?" Striker said.

"Hello, Striker darling. I have a new target for you," Stella told him.

"Who's the target?" he asked.

"This goody two-shoes named Jamie. Dressed in all white except for a blue jacket," she said.

"Heh, consider it done," Striker remarked then hung up.

He then ran out of the motel and headed for his horse. Once on, he rode off and started singing.

"My story's like the others from the plains of Wrath below
Where you only get dealt losing hands, the only life you'll know
While the rest of them could stay content with the lot that they have drawn
I've got ambition more than that, above where I was born

Some folks'll say there's no such thing as a man who is self-made
Let's see if folks'll say the same when they taste a holy blade
And I ain't one for chatter when I'm on the hunt for blood
Better go get your affairs in order 'fore I come to judge

So run, baby, run, gonna have to hunt you down
When every life will fetch a price, my talent knows no bounds
I'd say it's nothing personal but that wouldn't be fair
'Cause if you're on my nasty side, then you ain't got a prayer!

Now you're in my sights (gonna take you out)
Better say goodnight (there isn't any doubt)
You won't see the knife (partner, some advice)
Before I end your life (watch out, he ain't playin' nice)
Now you're in my sights (gonna take the shot)
And I'm about to strike (scope it in and drop)
You're just my type (he's the best around)
To set my soul alight (put you six feet in the ground)"

As he continued, he would shoot up other demons, who tried to give him a problem.

"The target doesn't matter, whether Sloth or Lust or Greed
I'll wander takin' any bounty to give me what I need
The tools and all the firepower I could ever want
To challenge all the smarmy pricks and all the wealth they flaunt

Those bastards that had stole from us, they hide behind their names
But titles won't mean shit when they got bullets in their brains
'Cause I am through with listening to the whims of royalty
Unless, of course, they want divorce by way of contract fee

Run, baby, run, gonna have to hunt you down
When every life will fetch a price my talent knows no bounds
I'd say it's nothing personal, but that wouldn't be fair
'Cause if you're on my nasty side, then you ain't got a prayer!

Now you're in my sights (gonna take you out)
Better say goodnight (there isn't any doubt)
You won't see the knife (partner, some advice)
Before I end your life (watch out, he ain't playin' nice)
Now you're in my sights (gonna take the shot)
And I'm about to strike (scope it in and drop)
You're just my type (he's the best around)
To set my soul alight (put you six feet in the ground)

So take heed, darlin', of what I said
I ain't choosing between alive or dead
You're just a ticket that I've gotta claim
And the last thing you'll hear is me and my name

Now you're in my sights (gonna take you out)
Better say goodnight (there isn't any doubt)
You won't see the knife (partner, some advice)
Before I end your life (watch out, he ain't playin' nice)
Now you're in my sights (gonna take the shot)
And I'm about to strike (scope it in and drop)
You're just my type (he's the best around)
To set my soul alight (put you six feet in the ground)

Now you're in my sights (gonna take you out)
Now you're in my sights (there isn't any doubt, partner, some advice)
You won't even see before I end your life (watch out, he ain't playin' nice, gonna take the shot)
Now you're in my sights (scope it in and drop, he's the best around, put you six feet in the ground)"

He eventually made it to Imp City to await when Jamie would return.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N Well, it seems Jamie's in trouble, but she can take care of herself, evidence by the previous chapter and this next chapter.
