Chapter 11: Getting Info
Via went to her mum’s home and got in with her key. She went in and moved her hair in her face like when she snuck into I.M.P. to borrow the book from them.
She went around the house stealthily before finding her in the dining room. She was eating dinner when she picked up the phone and dialed a number. Via immediately started recording her.
“Hello?” Striker’s voice sounded.
“Striker!” Stella greeted then asked, “Have you done it yet?”
Striker looked back at Jamie, thinking that she was cool. He then turned back to the phone.
“It’s…a work in progress. Me and her were sent to some desolate part of Wrath,” he said.
“Oh, I know. I sent you both there,” she said nonchalantly.
“You did this? Where you sent us may be our death beds,” Striker remarked angrily.
“It’ll be her death bed. You know Wrath better than anyone,” Stella pointed out.
“I don’t go into this part though. Even if I kill her, I don’t have any way of getting out of here,” he growled.
“Then you better kill her soon because I have your ticket out of there. So hurry along,” she replied, not phased by his tone.
She then hung up and Via stopped the recording.
Then she headed toward Stella’s room to find pics of Jamie with X’s over her face, others with her face burnt out, and others with her and the others torn to shreds. She took pictures of the evidence before running out quietly. She managed to avoid Stella as she made it out.
Meanwhile, Striker was just hung up on and he growled before throwing his phone to the ground.
“I have an idea of what that was about,” Jamie commented.
“My employer wants to make sure you’re dead before bringing me back,” Striker said, not looking at her.
“I thought so,” Jamie replied, sighed, then added, “Well, I’m gonna let you decide.”
He turned to face her in slight surprise.
“But I will warn you. I won’t go down without a fight if you go through with it. And that could mean neither one of us will get out of here,” she continued, making her sword appear.
He thought about it and knowing his odds, it wouldn’t be the best even if he won. Though he knew this, he slightly chuckled.
“You got a fighting spirit, doll. One of the things I like about you,” he told her then added, “And one of the reasons I’m not planning on ending you. Now that is.”
Jamie smirked, made her sword disappear, then said, “Best to save my strength for protecting myself. But the fact you’re somewhat merciful is one thing I like about you.”
“Any others you wanna add to that?” Striker added, his face mere inches from hers.
She smirked, brought her mouth closer to his ear, and whispered, “You first.”
She then walked on ahead before Striker smirked at her form.
“Well played, darling,” Striker commented before following her.
At that time, Via made it back and played the conversation for the others.
“So we know it’s her and she’s the one who sent them both there,” Stolas said.
“Then we need to get to Wrath and get her the f*ck out of there before she ends up dead,” Blitzø stated.

A/N Well okay then. Good for Via getting evidence and Striker’s honoring the temporary truce. And the others are working on helping Jamie.
