Jamie took a deep breath as she went through the portal from Heaven to Hell.

She wasn’t flying long when she was shot out of the sky and landed hard in an alley. She looked up to see a demon wearing a suit like he was in the mafia with shark minions behind him.

“Nice shot. Now let’s take care of this unwanted visitor,” he smirked.

The shark minions chuckled as they approached her. Jamie was terrified as she tried to fight her way out, but was soon held down. She looked up at the mob demon in fear.

“You should’ve stayed up in Heaven instead of coming here,” he warned.

“Let her go,” a voice sounded.

They looked toward the entrance of the alley to see the Goetian prince himself.

“Prince Stolas? You shouldn’t be here. You know you’re worth a lot of money,” the leader remarked.

“And yet you shoot down an innocent being who didn’t want anything to do with you. Now let her go or you’ll have to deal with me the hard way,” Stolas ordered.

The leader scoffed, snapped his fingers, then told his minions, “Take him down, boys.”

The sharks tried to take Stolas down, but he wasn’t having it. Some were turned to stone, others were killed, and others ran away from his fiery form. In frustration, the leader growled before holding Jamie at gunpoint.

“You better back the f*ck up before I end her right here,” he said.

“You won’t though. You wanted her for something and she wouldn’t mean much dead. But you’re not taking her either,” Stolas stated.

He then turned the leader’s gun and hand that held it to stone, making him groan in pain. He grimaced at the Goetian prince.

“Mark my words, your Highness. You will regret this one of these days,” he said.

He then left before Stolas went to check on the angel, who had passed out from how much carnage she witnessed.

“I better get you to my home so you’ll be safe,” Stolas stated as he lifted her up bridal-style.

He then took her to his place.

A few hours later, she woke up in what looked like a goth teen’s bedroom. She sat up while holding her head before hearing two voices, sounding like a father and daughter.

“Dad, are we sure they won’t come after her? I know you took care of those sharks and made an example of the leader, but with her in Hell, it’ll be bad,” the daughter said.

“I’m sure, Via. Once she’s healed up, then she’ll head back to Heaven in no time,” Stolas replied.

Jamie then got up and headed to the door to see them in the hallway.

“Well, I hope she heals up soon. Not just because she’ll get home safe. But you say she was just flying around when she was shot down for no reason. Why was she even here?” Via asked.

Jamie was then in plain view.

“I can answer that,” she said, making the father and daughter turn to her.

They then sat down and she explained everything to them, shocking them.

“So you’re an angel who was given the job to check on Hell to make sure no uprisings happen,” Via said.

“Pretty much,” Jamie nodded.

“Well, I’ll have to tell Blitzø to tone it down with some things,” Stolas mumbled.

“Who’s Blitzø?” Jamie wondered.

Stolas’s eyes widened before saying, “I wasn’t aware you could hear me.”

He then sighed.

“Blitzø is in charge of I.M.P ., the Immediate Murder Professionals. They go to Earth based on who a client wants killed. But as far as anything in Hell goes, they’ve done rather exceptional,” Stolas informed.

“Oh. Well, I don’t particularly agree with that line of work, but I wasn’t assigned to Earth. So, as long as they aren’t causing trouble down here and you speak that highly of them, there won’t be any trouble and I’d actually like to meet them,” Jamie replied.

“Maybe she could, Dad. Blitzø would understand if you talk to him first,” Via added.

Stolas seemed to think on it before deciding.

“Let me see what I can do about it,” he said.

“Thanks,” Jamie smiled then told them, “I better get going. Thank you for saving me and I hope to see you again, Your Highness.”

“Oh. Um, Stolas is fine. And this is Via,” Stolas insisted.

“Well, thank you, Stolas and Via. And I’m Jamie,” Jamie smiled then left through a portal she made.
