Chapter 11- Hell IN You
No foreword. I cannot tell you how long I had this set up.
Y/N sighed, feeling the breeze calm him down. He was so close to the edge of an abyss of rage that he had done so well to keep away from. Between struggling for every bit of comfort he had barring his current home and the pent-up emotion from putting down his pet, he had kept all that emotion tucked away, simply letting it out in controlled bursts by going to the gym, learning how to fight, and recreational use of firearms. Yet somehow, the idea of the girls coming to see and help him in this time of need concerned him. Thoughts of losing control and hurting or scaring them flashed in his mind, only fading in time for him to dodge a large concrete chunk. It hurt to move and it only irritated him more.
"Damn freak!" he growled, drawing his sidearm, an old M1911 from his grandpa from the time he fought in World War 1. He fired three shots, all hitting the beefy neck of his target in a one-inch grouping. Y/N would have been proud of himself if it weren't for the fact that it only annoyed the bioweapon. The monster picked up another slab and threw it hard, clearing the several yards between them before crashing harmlessly where Y/N once stood. The man had jumped out of the way and fired again, this time hitting two of the four shots he fired.
"Damn, one shot left!" he cursed, taking a moment to aim as the brute lifted another piece of rubble. Y/N took his last shot, hitting it right in the eye and putting the beast down. It was around that time that Azazel, Judgement, and Lucifer had arrived. Azazel was quick to start setting bones and getting him ready for another burst of divine healing while Lucifer was busy scolding him for acting so recklessly.
"God damnit, had you died, you'd be going to Heaven at this rate! I can't lose you after you swore you'd be there to help your brother!" Y/N chuckled at her words, relaxing as the healing kicked in and sighed at the warm, comforting feeling. Luckily for him, one of the main perks of the magic was that it was basically doing all the healing work for his body, bypassing all needs for the material used to rebuild the sections of injury and the energy used. Thus he gets the benefits of stronger bones without the long time to heal and the tiredness from the process.
"Well, did you bring what I asked?" he asked, as Lucifer pulled him to his feet. She let Judgement hand it over and a few mags of the .50 BMG. Right after he took it, however, the bioweapon launched a fleshy tentacle out of its hand and grabbed Judgement. For a brief moment, his rational mind told him to shoot the tentacle or hand it was coming out of, but that was quickly drowned out by one single thought as he watched her get thrown around and slammed into the pavement.
"JUDGEMENT!" he yelled, dropping the psychotically massive sniper. Lucifer was able to catch it but nearly tipped over by the undersized cannon's weight. The human sprinted towards her only to get knocked back into a wall. At first Judgement, Azazel, and Lucifer were terrified he had been killed, as the force with which he was sent into the wall was enough to throw a tank. An even more powerful fear replaced those fears as they heard something from inside the dark hole of the building Y/N was thrown into.
"R҉i҉p҉... a̵̡̗̹̓̕n̵̩̘͐̅͒̊͐ď̴̢͍͖͕̯͎̭̪̻͕̎͛́... т̶̙̮͚̭̎͗͌͊̂͗̊̈́͠є̶̱̝̖͕͎̪̆̀̔͘α̷̲̿̓̎͗͝я̴̛̹̤̜͓̑..." They recognized the voice as Y/N's and yet the tone of it put more fear into them than the idea of the Rapture or the Second Coming of Christ. The bioweapon let go of Judgement and they watched as it walked toward its intended target. Judgement stood up in time to watch a bloodied and violent man step out. His appearance matched the human she had grown fond of, yet the aura and soul were like a whirlpool of rage. The raging Y/N lunged at the beast and punched a hole clean through it, pulling back and throwing another, and another, and another, until he finally ripped out the thing's heart and bashed it into the face of the zombie. The brutal mutilation of the creature continued for several minutes before Lucifer finally came to her senses.
"We need something to calm him down, and shock him in a way he wouldn't expect," she said, Judgement and Azazel nodding.
"But how? I don't know what could do it..." Judgement said, looking back over. She winced and regretted the sight.
"He said something about having put down a pet not too long before venturing into Hell. A rabbit, named Daisy I think... I know animals don't go to Heaven but it still eludes me where they go instead," Azazel said, thinking. Lucifer snapped her fingers and grinned.
"Thank you, Azazel. I suppose I was a little harsh on you before and would like to apologize by congratulating you on figuring this out. While animals don't technically go to Hell, I can do whatever I please with the ones that have passed on. They've made useful servants," she said, her hands weaving through the air as she conjured her demonic might.
"I have? How?"
