Chapter 1- Long Way Down

Yeah for some reason Wattpad Mobile fucked this up and I was real scared that I lost like 90% of my work for a second there.

None of my favorite Helltaker stories are getting updated so to quench my thirst and procrastinate on my main projects, I'm writing this. Life is pain.

Y/N glared at the pentagram below him. Red with his blood and fury, he clapped his hands together and the portal to the NetherRealm opened. He grinned and jumped in without hesitation, yelling with his full chest.

Y/N was a man who was well built like his brother, taking care of himself by going to the gym, eating lots of meats, and using copious amounts of creatine (it's a chemical naturally found in the body used for assisting the body in building muscle, comes in a powder you add to water to allow more of it to enter the muscle, don't worry about it). Steak, chicken, sausage, bacon, pretty much anything he could shovel into his mouth. One might mistake him for a glutton, eating more than he needs, but the baggy clothes he wore simply did not do his physique justice. The man was ripped, holding a solid six-pack, biceps larger than most people's thighs and legs like tree trunks. He once punched a hole in a concrete wall. But now isn't the time for that. Y/N's brother went missing not too long after the man had gone on a three-hour-long call about a harem of sharply dressed demon girls.

Now it's time to find him.

Crashing into the red rocks of the hellscape, he slammed his fist down for a classic 4-point landing. Both feet, one knee, one hand. Massive rocks blocked his path, but they didn't bother him as he lifted one over his head with ease.

'Huh, that's... stupid light. I thought I was gonna have to struggle with these.' Punching one, it moved five feet, just as light. Grinning, Y/N just began ripping boulders out of his path and made it to the end, noticing something odd.

"I feel like that wasn't the right way to do that... Well fuck the right way. Not gonna let some stupid rules get in the way!" he said to himself, running through the path of red earth and flames. It wasn't long before he came across a massive skeleton with bones as thick as his arms. The two stared at each other before something clicked.

"You sunova bitch. Dylan!" Y/N laughed, the two apparent friends initiating a bro hug, though stopping before the hug. They arm-wrestled each other in the air for a few minutes before pulling each other in for the hug.

"Hey, I'm actually here looking for my brother; have you seen him anywhere?" The skeleton named Dylan pointed off to a large foreboding castle in the distance. The two nodded and Dylan patted Y/N on the shoulder. The young man took off once more. Yet another puzzle, and another non-completion.

"That was quite the interesting solution to such a puzzle, mortal."

"FUCK! Jesus, Halo, you shouldn't sneak up on people like that!" Y/N sighed, wiping his forehead. Hell was a little too warm for his outfit.

"Um, sorry but please don't use His name in vain... please?" the girl seemed quite timid, sounding as if he was about to kick her.

"You sound like a wounded puppy..." Y/N muttered, chuckling. The angel, or at least what he assumed to be an angel, simply looked at him quizzically.

"Wait, shit, are you an angel?" the man asked. She nodded and extended a hand politely.

"Yes, I'm Azazel. They call me the Curious Angel in Heaven." Y/N's face went as pale as her halo. The angel became concerned as she noticed immediately.

"Is something wrong? Do you not like angels or something?" Azazel asked fearfully.

"No it's just... not believing in God is a sin right? Like, one of the worst? Which means I'm probably coming back here when I die. Well, I suppose either Heaven or Hell is better than Earth right now..." Y/N told himself.

"How do you figure Hell to be better than Earth? Are you studying demons too?!" the angel asked, suddenly excited at the idea of a study partner.

"Tch, I'm here looking for my idiot older brother. He's here looking for a harem of demon girls. Dumbass didn't even tell me when he left, so I'm here to kick his ass for disappearing so soon after our father died." An uncomfortable silence fell between the two as suddenly the boulders shifted back into their original positions.

"Either someone's shown up or they just reset after a-" Not a moment sooner did he hear the boulders being moved. Y/N decided to take a seat on a rock that was slightly higher up, somewhat out of sight. He could see exactly who it was and scoffed. That idiot was right there.

"Oh my heavens! What is another living human here in hell? Most unusual."

"Looking for demon girls. Wait, did you say another?"

"Suppose that's my cue then. What's up, BJ?"
