You Remember Me?
For some odd reason the thing stopped making noise. It didn't really move after she said his name. At that moment Joyce got the strange feeling that Harry heard her.
The clarify any confusion Harry, or the BBQ man, was a friend of her father before the Great War. And they, in a way had a brother sister bond. But, she would of never known he'd survive in this waste land. Then again, she didn't even know how she survived.
Harry nodded his head in a rapid motion. Joyce's face lit up. "Can you hear me?!" She asked excitedly.
He stood there for a short while, maybe contemplating what she just said. But, soon after he nodded quickly. Joyce squeeled, if finally someone who hadn't completely lost their memory. Because from what she knows Salad didn't know much about his own past. "Can you...follow me?" Joyce asked.
Harry stood still. Joyce took a step back, he took a step forward. She took a step left, he took a step right. She smiled at this and continued her way through the forest of dead trees.
~le time skip~
The sun began to set and Joyce, Harry, and Gerald began to head home. Gerald of course, being a lifeless bear, stayed in the carriage as Harry shoved it along, since he lacked the hands to push it. On their way home Joyce stopped, Harry stopped as well. She had taken notice of something on the ground and bent over to pick it up. It was an old black and white photo of some people. It was a man wearing a nice sweater and black pants, next to him was a woman who looked to have black lipstick and eye makeup. The guy to the other side of the man looked to be an immigrant or in other terms African American. He had curly black hair and bandages around his jaw area.
For some reason the man in the middle looked so familiar. Like she had seen the person before...
