Jungkook's POV

I felt happy that Tae and I are in good terms again. You might wonder why I can forgive and accept him back that easily, huh? Well, I'll briefly explain then.

During my heart to heart talk with mum the other day, I truly pondered hard on her words and she's right. Everyone is going to hurt you, you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for so in my case, I believe that Taehyung was worth it.

Thus, ends my brief explanation. Moving on, today is Friday so which means I finally get to meet Tae for our date tomorrow! Ever since we patch things up on Monday, we have been talking pretty well, even better actually.

We got to know each other in depth. I noticed how Tae keeps talking about his obsession with cute animals and how he would love to own a cat or dog of his own but sadly, his brother are allergic to them so they can't own one.

On my bus ride home from school, I took out my manga comic to read. I was so immersed in the story that I almost missed my stop! Before heading home, I decided to stop by the mall and head to 'Comics Connection' to get something for Tae for our date tomorrow. One more thing about him, he loves anime. He never fail to watch at least one episode each day.

Since he ends class earlier than usual on Fridays, I decided to hit him a text before entering the store.

Kookie: Taetaeeeee~ I'm so looking forward for tomorrow!

After hitting sent, I asked the shopkeeper whether Fairy Tail was still available. He politely replied saying that it's located on the first top right shelf. I browsed through the shelf and there were so many volumes! Wonder which one I should get? After minutes of thinking, I decided to get the special edition.

I felt a vibration in my pocket as I walk to the counter to make payment. After receiving back my change, I thanked the shopkeeper and took my phone out to read Tae's reply. I couldn't help but smile as I slowly walk back home.

Taehyung's POV

Ugh, school sucked today. Our lecturer doubled our assignments and expect us to finish it by end of this week. Finish up an accounting assignment within 2 days? Impossible, especially if you aren't much of a smartass like me for example.

Plus I still got my date and that special 'surprise' tomorrow. It frustrates me even more but thinking about it does calm me down though since I get to see Jungkook. I wouldn't want to mess things up again. He gave me a second chance and I make sure, with my whole heart, I won't take things for granted and treat him well.

It was now 5pm and all of us were done packing and ready to run out of class to look forward to the weekend but my annoying lecturer always have something to announce.

"Alright class. Make sure you get all the assignment done by this week! I expect to see a stack of papers on my desk, Monday morning! That's all, class dismiss"

I dashed out from class together with Jiminie. I dug out my phone to see a message from Kookie and I smiled brightly as I typed back a reply.

Taehyung: Kookieeee~ yes yes me too! And hey, I miss you (:

"You look chirpy all of a sudden. Earlier on, you were gloomy as hell in class" Jimin laughed and I punched his stomach.

"Ow! What was that for, pabo alien"

"I'm going on a date with him tomorrow"

"Awesome! So you did manage to finish my to-do-list" he clapped.

"So does that mean ice cream for me? Coldstone, coldstone!"

"Aish no. Coldstone ice cream is so expensive. I'll treat you once you complete 'your final task' by the way, erm..." Jimin was having second thoughts.

"Erm what? Spill the beans man"

"I think I might fall for someone"

"Omo! My bestie is falling in love?! Who who!" I happily bounced like a bunny around Jimin.

"Aish stop bouncing. We are at the train station for goodness sake. People are staring at us"

I stopped bouncing and whimpered like a lost puppy wanting him to tell me who his secret lover was. He did tell me or should I say just a hint. The hint was the person was older than him. Erm okay, that's all? That pabo, why so secretive.

"See you next week!" I bro hug him before alighting at my stop.

As I'm walking back home, I checked my phone once again and couldn't help but smile seeing his name on my notifications.

Kookie: I miss you too! Where are we going tomorrow?

Time stamp: 1730
Taehyung: Hmm how about the zoo? Or night safari? Oh oh wait, river safari?

As soon as I hit send, he was online.

Kookie: Err you don't expect us to go all three places at once right?

Taehyung: Hey why not! It'll be fun!

Kookie: You and your love for animals.

Taehyung: But you know you'll always be my #1 right?

Kookie: *punches* stop making me blush

Taehyung: Hehe alright, by the way I had a bad day at school today :(

Kookie: Why, baby?

Taehyung: Our class lecturer doubled our assignments and expect us to get it done by end of the week :(

Kookie: And you still wanna go 3 places in one day? Tae, studies are more important you know.

Taehyung: I know but sighpie...

Kookie: Its okay I understand (: how about we just go to the river safari? I've never been there before!

Taehyung: Me too! Okay river safari it is!

Kookie: But you do know the way there? I still haven't adapt to Singapore :/

Taehyung: Yup! There's always Google maps if we get lost or i could just use my alien senses :D

Kookie: Alien senses? *laughs*

Taehyung: You'll see tomorrow (;

Kookie: Alrighty! Babe ttyl? Mum's calling me down for dinner.

Taehyung: Sure! Ttyl!

Speaking of dinner, I should have mine too. The moment I step foot home, I could see my brother cooking dinner for us. Since our parents are rarely home, he is the chef of the house and I swear his cooking is the best, THE BEST. Double thumbs up man.

I told him I'll help him out after taking a shower. He showed me an OK sign and I quickly head to the shower to clean myself up. Once I dried myself and put on some decent clothes, I went to the kitchen to help Sungoh.

"What's cooking, bro?" I said with an irritating tone.

"Fish & Chips. I've already prepared the batter. Mine helping me out with that?"

I happily agreed. I took some fish fillets, dip it in the batter before putting it in the fryer. When all the fishes are in, I opened up the fridge to take out a bag of French fries and toss half the bag of fries in the other fryer.

Sungoh was chopping up some lemons so I'm the one who has to monitor the cooking. About 5-10 minutes top, the colour of the fish fillet and fries is turning a nice golden brown. That's when I took it out using a tong, nicely arranging the food on the plate for the both of us. Of course, the plating wouldn't be complete without a couple slices of lemon followed with tartar and chilli sauce.

To top that of, Sungoh prepared fresh squeezed lemonade. He served it on our tall glass, a straw and a lemon at the rim of the glass. It felt as if we are dining at a seaside restaurant. Fish & chips with fresh lemonade, can't think of a better combo than that. Voila, dinner was cooked and served by the awesome, handsome twin brothers.

Dinner with Sungoh is never boring. We would converse with each other asking how's your day? How's life? How's school? We basically story everything to each other. I even told him about Jungkook and he seem to approve of us. He wished me all the best and remind me that he'll always be here if I ever need a listening ear.

I went up to my room after dinner was done. Yes I helped out with the dishes, don't worry. I froze looking at the load of assignments I have to get done within 2 days. Before starting, I hit Jungkook a text.

Taehyung: Hey babe sorry but I couldn't talk much to you tonight :( assignments are killing me *cries*

Kookie: Naww it's alright. You can do it!

Taehyung: Thanks babe! Oh meet me tomorrow @ CCK mrt station, 1pm?

Kookie: Okay! Hey I love you, alien <3

Taehyung: I love you too, seagull <3

Jungkook's POV

ITS SATURDAYYYYY

Taehyung has a pile of assignments to get done by tomorrow but he still looks forward to our date, how thoughtful. I'm sure he can complete it, that's my alien you talking about there.

For the first time in forever, I woke up early on a weekend because I'm so thrilled! I open up my wardrobe to see what I should wear since we are going out someplace outdoors, I decided to take out my white polo t-shirt with my khaki coloured Bermudas. I nicely placed my planned outfit on my bed and hit Tae a good morning text which he replied back with a heart at the end. I smiled brightly as we continued texting.

Mum was walking past my room, she saw me squealing like a fangirl and entered. "Morning, sweet pea. You're up early looking all joyful today, going out on a date?" She eyed on the clothes I've neatly arranged on my bed.

"Erm yes" I shyly replied

"Whose the lucky.. Guy?"

I told her Taehyung's name and showed a picture of him.

"Omo! He's so adorable! No wonder my sweet pea likes him"

"You're not mad, mum?"

"Why would I? I already said I would slowly adapt and accept your sexuality"

"Thanks mum. I love you so much!" I lifted her and spin her around. I swear my mum is as light as a feather.

"I love you too, sweet pea. Have a good date alright!" She kissed my forehead before making her way out my room.

After that comforting moment with mum, I head to the bathroom and took a long shower. I wiped myself dry, put my clothes on and checked myself out in the mirror. I sprayed some cologne to smell extra good and nicely styled my hair before going down to grab a bite. I bid my mum goodbye and slip on my caramel coloured loafers before leaving the house.

Once i was at my destination, I saw Taehyung standing at a corner looking so good. He was wearing slightly similar to me and that made me blush because people might think we were a couple. I snuck up from behind and tapped his shoulder, he turned around flashing me a wide squarish grin.

Both of us were unsure of our next step. Should we hug? Should we just stand there? I mean this is considered out first date since I only see him once the other time for a short 5 minutes so that's not counted. Quick reminder, we aren't an 'official couple' yet. We ended up doing nothing.

The situation was still awkward during our bus ride to river safari. When we alight, however, the mood switched from awkward to hyper.

"River safariiiiii!" He screamed and dragged me to the ticket counter.

Okay that escalated very fast.

Two black coloured hair guys were standing at the counter, their backs facing us, one was shorter than the other. They seem to share an undeniable skinship. Guess they are a couple? We interrupted by pressing the bell for assistance, they both turned around and froze.

"Hoseok hyung?"

"Jungkook?"

"Taehyung?!"

"Jimin?!"

All of us said in sync. Taehyung was giving Jimin the 'blank-I-have-no-idea-you-work-here-even-though-I'm-your-freaking-bestie' look. I wanted to make this purchase fast since there was a queue behind us so I asked Hoseok hyung whether we could get any discounts since they work here.

Hoseok was so kind he gave us a 50% discount so we only paid $25 for 2 tickets! What a bargain! I thanked him and we move out of line. It seemed Jimin left the counter too since one other staff returned from his break so now it was Jimin's turn to take a breather.

"Hey tae"

"Don't 'hey Tae' me" Taehyung crossed his arms pretending to look mad. Aish these two jokesters, I swear people might think they are a couple if they had no idea they are best friends.

"So when are you going to tell me?"

"Never actually, I erm..." Jimin paused mid sentence and eyed at me as if telling me to go away. I stay rooted to my spot so he whispered the remaining words to Taehyung and he burst out laughing.

"Omo, for real?! You like Hose-"

Jimin covered his mouth to prevent him from saying any further, "Shhhhh! He's only a couple steps away from us, you pabo"

"Okay okay my bad, all the best yeah! Fighting!"

"Thanks!" He ruffled Taehyung's hair. "And by the way, meet me at the river safari cruise at 6pm. Don't ask why, just come. Now go have a fun date!" He pushed Taehyung to me and my face turned rosy pink as our skins brushed.

Taehyung then apologized if this date has been horrible so far. From the awkwardness to the drama. I pinched his chubby cheeks and told him not to worry about it because I've always been an introvert so it's rare of me to experience all these.

"So which river shall we go first? Mississippi, Congo, Mekong, river Nile, Ganges, Yangtze. There so many!"

"Let's go Yangtze River first! The guide states there's a giant salamander there!" I cheered and we happily make our way there.

We stood and stare at the creatures in awe. There were so cool! There were Chinese alligators, giant salamander, sturgeon. The sturgeon is like a 'living dino' it existed as far back as over 200 million years ago! It's elongated body and giant size along with its lack of scales. It is believed to be one of the longest lived animals up to a 100 years old!

"Kookie let's take a picture!"

I went closer to him as he placed his arms around my shoulder and we took a picture with each creature. As we toured around the other rivers, we had the same jaw dropping reaction because there were so amazing!

We could see an alligator snapping turtle, Congo tetra, Indian gharial, giant stingray, giraffe catfish, crab-eating macaque and so much more! The date has been great so far and as we get comfortable with each other, without warning, Tae locked his hands with mine and walked normally as if nothing happened. Once again, my face turned from rosy pink to crimson red.

There was only an hour left before we meet Jimin so we decided to make the final two stops. One was the squirrel monkey forest and the other...

"GIANT PANDA FOREST!" Taehyung screamed at the top of his lungs, dragging me along with him.

"Omo omo, they are so cute and fluffy! Can i bring them home please?" I swear Taehyung's obsession with cute animals is way over the top.

Besides the cute big black and white ball of fur, there was a red panda also known as the Firefox due to its bright coloured fury coat and fox like face. Only one thing here caught my attention though, it was the golden pheasant. Well, you can say I'm more of a bird lover.

"TaeTae come on now, lets go" I swear I sound like a mother, I wonder who is the maknae sometimes. He pouted and sadly waved goodbye to his fury friends.

30 minutes left and we were now at our final stop, the squirrel monkey forest! I couldn't help but laugh, "Hey that monkey over there kinda looks like you!" He mimic the monkey's face making me laugh even harder.

Once we were done fooling around, taking pictures with each animal, making silly faces and whatnot. It was time to meet Jimin at the river safari cruise.

I wonder what Jimin wants...

To our surprise, Hoseok was there too. We walked closer and was pleasantly greeted by them.

"Jimin and Hoseok at your service" they both half bowed.

"What's going on here?" Taehyung questioned.

"Just take it as a gift. Don't ask much okay?"

"All aboard!" Hoseok hyung announced.

There was no one else since the safari closes at 6pm so the four of us boarded the boat. Jimin was the driver and let's just say Hoseok is the captain of the boat, yeah?

Tae and I took our seats at the furthermost back of the boat as we enjoy the cool breeze on our faces and listen to nature's polyphony of gently lapping water, the call of the birds as well as the rustle of the trees.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Tae observing me.

"S-stop looking at me like that" I teasingly smacked his lap.

"Couldn't help it. You're too beautiful" that's it I swear I have no idea how many times this alien has made me blush today.

Just then, Hoseok approached us with a tray of strawberries, marshmallow and melted white and milk chocolate.

"Naww hyung, you didn't have to" I humbly said and both of us thanked him.

"No no it's my pleasure. Enjoy, lovebirds" he gently smile and trailed back to Jimin.

Taehyung dipped one of the strawberries in the chocolate and fed it to me which I gladly bite on.

"Tae, thank you so much for today. Oh! I got something for you" I unzipped my bag-pack and gave the manga comic I bought yesterday.

"Omo omo! Fairy tail special edition?! Kamsa kamsa!" He jumped up and down his seat like a kid. Once again without warning, he kissed my cheek. For the umpteenth time, he sent me blushing.

"Well to be fair, now it's time for my surprise" the boat was now put to a stop at the most beautiful tropical scenery of the entire river safari. It looks like a view from Rio 2 the movie. He then took out his ukulele from his bag and before he begin, "Don't laugh okay? My English isn't that good. Wait no. Please do laugh. I love seeing you happy"

He began strumming a cheerful yet soothing melody. I swayed my head left to right. Even Hoseok and Jimin was tapping their feet. (It'll be better if you guys play Jason Mraz- I'm yours to get into the mood)
Taehyung look straight into my eyes and sang..

I couldn't contained myself anymore and buried my face on his shoulder. This sweet loving alien has break the record for making my cheeks turned from the lightest shade of red to the brightest. He continued strumming but this time it was Jimin who was singing, to Hoseok! Omo, a double celebration?

For the first time in my life, I saw Hoseok hyung blush rose red. He lift Jimin up and kissed him. Now it's my turn so my reply to Taehyung was the last verse of the song..

With that, now it was my turned to kiss him without warning. I brought my face close and plant a sweet innocent kiss on his lips. We pulled away and guess who was blushing now? Our forehead lean against each other, eyes locked, "I love you to planet Saturn and back, Kim alien Taehyung"

"I love you to every single blue sky and back, Jeon seagull Jungkook"

We looked over at the other couple who was having their tender moment as well. I rest my head on his chest as he played around with my hair.

Even though we had a rough start, the grand finale ended off with a big bang. I couldn't ask for a better place to be in right now. I am already where I belong, in his loving arms.
