||Chapter 41: The Attic||

"Is that so?"
Ike nods,"Yeah, Quentin is being sent off to a summer camp with Aunt Catherine.", Ike shrugged,"It's gonna be a lot of more quiet. . . But he's still my brother, even if he hurt a lot of people. . .", Robert patted his head, sitting on the floor with them,"You're a good kid; I'm sure your brother meant well just, could be an Impulse Disorder.", Ike nods, Norman then looked up from his lego,"Wait, Ike don't you have church tomorrow?", Ike frowned,"Uh, mom said she was going alone; Dad said I could have a sleepover.", Robert nods,"And you're all more than welcome.", Theodore sat silently as he screwed on the mannequin's arm.
"Oooh."
"I might give some of them a metal skirt. . . Uh, what is it called in dresses? Especially older dresses that give the dress more. . . Volume?", Adelle peaked in,"A Hoops Skirt.", Theodore nods,"That.", she disappeared back into the kitchen.

Lisa pulled down the attic stairs, slowly creeping upstairs; She hadn't been up here in a while.
Looking up, it was very spacious attic and she even saw their old fort; Theodore, her and Franklin made it and they'd come up to watch movies or just relax.
. . .
"!"
She saw. . . A bed, and someone in it; Not a mannequin.
She slowly approached, the rain was not helping nor was the lightening.
She gasped, covering her mouth.
Frank lay in the bed, almost paler than a ghost, IV stuck in him and his injuries still healing.
"Lisa!"
She jumped; Mom!
"Mom. . . Franklin, he. . ."
Adelle put the plate down, closing the attic door,"I'm sorry dear. . . We thought it was for the best. . .", Lisa frowned,"Why. . .", Adelle sighed, sitting on her knees and Lisa too, but distance between them.
"After we found Franklin. . . We were heartbroken, but your father. . . He found it suspicious, those purple vein parks on him like he was struck by something.", Lisa glanced at her older brother.
"And then. . . Robert suggested we try, bring him back. . . Try the lightening; The machines we made. . . And it worked. . ."
Adelle had tears in her eyes,"But. . . Not a surprise, but we needed to help Franklin learn everything again, walking, talking and. . .", her mom shook.
Lisa looked at her brother, someone once so strong now slowly healing but. . . Was this right?
It was unfair she lost him and nearly Theodore. . .
