||Chapter 39: For Your Own Good||
"Otto's Situation is completely different!"
Cornelius groaned, hand in his hair and sunglasses on the table,"How is it different, Quentin?!", they had been arguing since they got back, Bonnie put Beatrix upstairs and came to sit through it.
"You've been spying on people, cops, Otto and now Mr Peterson, stolen and even came up with. . . Such a story!"
Quentin slammed his hands on the table,"I didn't make it up!", silence.
. . .
Cornelius sighed.
"Robert showed you the room; It was empty, and no hidden door to where you said you saw it.", Bonne sighed,"Your father is right dear, if Robert had something to hide truly he wouldn't have let us all in.", "Because he-", Quentin groaned, hitting his head on table with no way to explain it; Cause if he had listened to Lisa, Robert would have an excuse for each one!
"Quentin. We can't keep doing this routine and rodeo."
Cornelius pinched the bridge of his nose,"You can't keep running around, listening in on conversations, stealing, trespassing and just hoping a sorry is enough, cause it isn't.", Bonnie nods,"Your father is right, and especially for Otto and Robert; Your accusations against Otto were especially rude, the man lost his best friend and Robert is still handling everything that happened to Theodore and Franklin.", Cornelius looked at her, Bonnie then pushed a leaflet to Quentin,"They were passing these out at Church; A camp.", Quentin took it, flipped through it.
"So. . . You're sending me away."
Bonnie shook her head,"No, dear; This camp offers a lot of great activities, lessons and more: I think it would really help you, and it will help take some time away from Raven Brooks, maybe that's what you need.", Quentin stared at them.
"We're not sending you away on a whim, or because we're mad and or hate you; We're doing this to try and help you, Quentin."
Cornelius sighed,"Cause every day, I worry about the next call I get cause I'm worried you're going to get hurt or someone else, or end up angering the wrong person.", he had a point; His dad always had a point.
What if he hurts Ike?
That sentence kept repeating in his mind like an echo.
~
Cornelius sighed heavily, taking a deep breath as his wife looked at him,"It's for the best, dear. If we don't take further action, he won't understand this will not be accepted.", he nods,"I know. . . It's hard. . .", Bonnie stood up, rubbing his shoulders to help him a little,"It will be okay, the camp will help.", he nods, resting his eyes.

Quentin went to his room, grounded, found that his mom and dad had removed anything that would get him into trouble, especially his drone and phone.
So he couldn't contact Lisa.
He laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling as the rain poured outside.
He knows what he saw, Lisa saw it too; But he couldn't leave the house and or go back to Tue Peterson house again, only Ike will be going and Beatrix once their parents make sure she understands that Mr Peterson isn't a psycho.
Though the regret he had is getting ahead of himself, blurting that out and Theodore having to hear it.
He faceplammed to that, it almost scared him and made him feel bad seeing him appear at the top of the stairs.
. . .
But Quentin didn't understand, how did he seal the wall and why?
Was it because they knew, or because it was moved.
=
That night, Ike didn't come home; He stayed with The Petersons.
Cornelius sat in the living room, watching TV, Bonnie making sure Beatrix was down for a nap.
What were they gonna do with him.
He had crossed many lines and, how could he have not noticed? He should have with Robert being more occupied with his family.
"The camp will help. . ."
He just didn't know if he was trying to convince himself, or reassuring. . . He didn't know but what he did know, was Quentin couldn't do this anymore and it needs to stop.
