Well... never mind... my thought:

If a random elf visited Maedhros & Maglor after the third (?) kinslaying:
They are drinking tea and doing smalltalk, until...

Elrond: * runs into the room* Dad! Elros broke my sword! Can you fix it for me?

Elros: I didn't do anything! That thing is just old, dad!

Maglor: Boys, I'm a musician. Ask your father.

Maedhros: Bring me the sword. We will fix it, won't we?

Elf (utterly confused): So... how could this happen?

Maglor: *starts crying desperately*

Maedhros (looking at the two children chasing each other arround the table): If I had any idea...

And something else, that is headcanon to me:

Elrond: We are a family now, aren't we?

Maglor: Of course we are.

Elrond: So can we call you two dads?

Maglor (smiles): If you like.

Elros: Really? That's so cool! We never had a dad, because our's was on a ship all the time! Now we actually have two dads! Isn't that great? It's even better than just one! I want my children to have two dads too (goes on like forever)....

Maedhros: Is he serious?

Maglor (both confused and guilty):  No idea...

I neither know, what this is, nor why I thought is was so important, that I had to update it at 00:09 in the night. What am I doing here?!?
