I just want to present my FF-ideas to you. Nothing special.

1.) The War of Wrath is over. Beleriand lies ruined and the remaning elves are asked to sail to the holy island of Tol Eressea. Yet Ardel, daughter of Fiarel Finahen is unwilling to depart from Middle Earth, where she has spend all her life. Wandering homelessly in the woods she suddenly hears a strange, yet strangely familiar voice singing and mourning about grief and guilt...
(This, of course, is her uncle Maglor, who then teaches her to use the power of her own voice. Maybe she'll be involved in the war of the ring, but probably not.)

2.) In the age of two N. (I haven't yet got a name for her. Niella sounds nice, but it has to be something with a meaning) was found abandoned at the shore of Numenor by an elve from Tol Eressea. Being raised at the blessed island she ever desires to return to her actuall home. But Numenor has changed and N. coincidentally finds herself involved in a turbulent rebellion, where suddenly her voice is heard so that her elvenlike wisdome learned at Tol Eressea is more important than ever...
(This one will be less action and fighting but more political struggle, what is kind of new territory for me. Still, I suppose, it would be good.)

3.) As the daughter of Princess Finduilas and Lord Gwindor Ellen (that is either Eleniel-Stardaughter or Elenilca-white, shining star) is raised behind the walls of Nargothrond. When the castel falls Ellen is brought to Angband as a captive, where she accidently interrupts one of the dark lord's servant's experiments. Since she has gained a strange and sinister power by that, Sauron is determined to make her his ally. Desiring to survive, but unwillingly in the first place, Ellen plays her part until she starts concidering, wheter the monsters she has to face really are as evil as anybody wants them to be. Should she stay in Angband and betray everything she thought she knew or use her power to hunt and murder the fascinating, sinister creatures she gets to know there?
(I seriously don't know, wheter I want a lovestory between Ellen and Sauron. It would work but I don't really see them as a couple. What the story certainly will include are Orcs. I thouht alot about them lately, and I came to the conclusion that they were fascinating. Only that I don't know, what star means in the black speech. Which is annoying, since I need it)

This are my three ideas. I personally favour number three (because of the dragons), since I'd have to do alot of research for one and two...
