Number one:

Galadriel hates the Feanorians for many reasons: 

He has insulted her in Valinor

He burned the ships

His sons destroied Doriath while she lived there.

Elrond, on the other hand, adores his fathers and has some banners with the star of Feanor hanging in Imladris.

Now imagine Celebrian, Galadriel's daugter, beeing led into the house after her marriage with Elrond. She sees the Banner. Looks at her husband. Looks at her mother. Closes her eyes and is just done with everything.

Number two:

When they stop in Imladris after the Lord of the Rings, Gandalf gossips Elrond about their jurney:

Gandalf: ... and then, when I said >You shall not pass<, the bridge broke and the Balrog...

Glorfindel: *passing by* YOU KILLED A BALROG WITHOUT ME?!

Number three:

Gimli asks Galadriel for some strands of her hair.  Of course Celeborn knows, what happened to Feanor in Valinor.

Celeborn: Poor, foolish dwarf...

Also Celeborn: Wait... What?!

I am spending to much time online. One day I will fully diappear in Middle eart...

And I noticed, Celeborn is very unlucky when it comes to names. You'll have to google his other name yourself, but I jut realized, that Celeborn also is the name of a tree, which is nice, but also a bit weird.

I should work on my "Curse of Feanor poster" instead. Or do something, that doesn't include Middle earth. Whom am I kidding? As if I could.  However, I hope you won't be able to read Lord of the Rings, without thinking of that now. I certainly won't.
